I am implementing sap treasury in South africa and i see SAP TRM is
based on the european markets which trade on the price but South
Africa trades on the yield, how do i capture a bond on a yield not on
the price." We want to do this on ftr_create or ts01, are there any
country specific settings for South Africa

Secondly i would like to capture repos (73A and 73B) FIRST leg on a yield not price. When i book the second leg of the repo, its not generating the forward rate after i capture borrow rate/carry rate. I would the system to generate the second leg yield and book first leg on the YIELD not price, as in South Africa we trade in yield, kindly assist

HI Victor,
For the first probelm: Capturing deals with yeild in FTR_CREATE screen, SAP have provided a facility to enter yield rate in Eff Int Rate and based on input Yield, system will generate the security price automatically. This is the only area where you can create a deal based on yield reference.
For the second one: Repo & Rev Repo, only second leg entries can be entered with the help of yield as specified above. For the spot leg you need to enter exact price of deal in the structure screen as per normal business practice. However it is possible to solve your problem to get price with the help of Yield for first leg also by developing a mask program where you can decide your own inputs and finally through the figures in to standard screen (TRP01) duly validated. Remember, this will be a development from the implementation team.

This is really unfortunate. I'm sorry that nothing works. I was going to mention holding down the power button and doing a force shutdown but you already did that. You might need to take it into the Apple store. I don't know if booting into safe mode would help. You would have to turn off the machine again, hit the start button and hold down the shift key after you hear the tone, but normally you would let go of the shift key when you see the apple logo and spining wheel. Maybe by holding down the shift key after you here the tone will cause the screen to come back on? The other option is to start up from the 'install disk' if your machine came with one. You would insert the disk, then shut down the computer, and hold down the C key right after hitting the start button.

I add a contact to Address Book app eg [email protected], this address is not imediatley available to use in Apple Mail app.
The address [email protected] eventually appears in the Address panel in Maill app, it can take from 3 minutes to hours to appear, surely both apps are reading the same database.
This is particularly problematic when adding new contacts to groups and then emailing that group, Im never sure the group in Mail app is the same as the group in Address Book app.
Nothing seems to speed up this process ie quitting and re-opening Mail app or Address book app.
I have tried deletting "AddressBook-v22.abcddb" ~/Library/Aplication Suport/Address Book
I have tried forcing ~/Library/Aplication Suport/Address Book to re-index.
I have also restarted, repaired permissions, ran fsck -fy in single user mode.

Because the sender has their name as part of the email address that is sent, and when they send you a message that matches the one in your Address Book, it's updated to show their name as Mail received it. But if you had previously sent them email before that update occurred, then your Previous Recipients database in Mail doesn't use that newly updated information in Address Book.

You can view NetFlix and YouTube via their websites on a Mac computer. You can purchase/play iTunes movies and other thing via iTunes on the Mac.

I was asked to up grade my Firefox, when I did this the system crashed and I have lost use of my book marks and fire fox, I have not been able to fix it.

Two days ago I logged on to Firefox. I recieved a message that told me that I was using an out dated version. I had to up grade . I followed the instruction and when finished fire fox crashed. I am unable to delete firefox, reload it, or use it. I am forced to use Internet Explorer to use my computer. I have lost my book marked sites, and I am at a loss as how to retrieve what I have lost. I have tried to follow the instructions to fix the problem but I have not been able to fix the problem. I sent the crash information but recieved no responce.

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID?

These are all tv based -sky go app, iplayers and on demand. I have installed them previously but since then there are no icons on my ipad to select. There is not a seperate FaceTime app with the iPhone. FaceTime is incorporated with the iPhone without needing a seperate app as is required with an iPod Touch and iPad. To start a FaceTime call with a contact, select the contact and at the bottom of the contact's info are the following selections.

Have you tapped on the id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app - when you do that you should get a popup with options for 'View Apple ID',' Sign Out', 'iForgot' and 'Cancel'. Tap on the 'Sign Out' option and log out and then log back in

Colors pantone book do not match with screen?

I am having a problem with matching the colors in my Pantone book with the colors on my screen. My screen is calibrated with the colormunki display. The adobe suite is synchronized and I use fogra39 as my working space.
I have looked up a color in my Pantone+ uncoated guide: a deep dark red (1797c). However, when selecting the swatch in illustrator it shows up as a pinkish red. It does not match the color book at all!
Also, the cmyk values of this swatch are entirely different than what is is in the guide.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
Ps. I have overprint view on and use lab colors to show spot colors. My monitor is normal gamut, but I can reproduce the color with my own cmyk mix. So my monitor can reproduce the color.
On my iPad (Pantone app) and in de Pantone manager I also see this pinkish red color, which does not match the color in the book...

There is one point which nobody have made mention of, which also is something anyone who works in print should know about.
The first thing to know is that there are some Green and Red Pantones that are IMPOSSIBLE to reproduce on screen because of the limitation of the RGB gamut. (The RGB of screens can only reproduce a bit more than 60% of the real-life colors and around 50% of the Pantone are situated inside the remaining missing 40%. Almost EVERY Pantone, on your charts, that are situation on the 2 top and 2 bottom positions are not reproducible on screen.)
So, it's always normal that some Pantone never look the same between a screen and the Pantone chart even if the screen is calibrated in the best ways and that is why you uses a Pantone chart. The Pantone chart isn't just a "decision" tool, but also a "preview" tool so that you can see the exact final color regardless of what's on screen.
If that is not working with your workflow, then it simply means that your workflow is flawed as it's how it has been made to be. It's not a choice, but a limitation of physics with computer hardware which you have to live with as a professional.

There is no playlist for iBooks, butther eis nothing to preent you from choosing to download specific titles from itunes, or syncing just specific titles to an individual device.

You dont need ANY CD/DVD burning software on your Mac

Change your OS X account name and home directory name - Apple Support
As they recommend and as always when you're messing with administrator accounts back everything up first.
