Want to buy zen micro ph

Can someone tell me where I can buy a zen micro photo from an online store here in europe? I li've in athens Greece and they sell the micro photo but they only have it in grey, black, white, and dark blue. I want it in light blue, green, orange, or purple. Thanks

I was in the same situation as you, wanting a Zen Micro but wondered if I should wait till the Zen Micro Photo came out. I decided that I didn't need the colour screen to show people photos and just wanted a small portable music player so I went with a Black Zen Micro and I am very happy that I did

  • Should I wait to buy ZEN Micro Ph

I am getting a part-time job soon and want to buy the ZEN Micro, but the ZEN Micro Photo is coming out in Summer 2005, and that looks good, so should I get the ZEN Micro or wait for the Colour screen version?
P.S I had my Muvo TX 256MB for 3 weeks and is great, though I should have waited and got the 52MB version it is only 70GBP at eBuyer now.

  • Deciding on whether to buy Zen Micro or Sl

I'm not sure which to buy. I tried the both at a store the other day (only the Zen Mirco was charged) and definitely the Zen Micro is easier to hold and seems easier to use (reach the buttons easily without having to move my entire hand and such) Here are some likes/dislikes of mine about them. **The Zen Micro was not color, they did have that there but for the same price I could buy the Zen Sleek.
    Zen Sleek
    What I like about it...
    20GB storage</LI>
    Rechargeable battery</LI>
    FM tuner with recording</LI>
    Voice recorder</LI>
    What I dislike about it...
Recharceable battery isn't manually replaceable like Micro so what happens when the battery doesn't seem to be getting maximum output? Do I send it in for another or do I have to go buy another Sleek?</LI>
I heard the touch pad is tough to use</LI>
    Zen Micro
    What I like about it...
    Small and easy to use</LI>
    FM tuner with recording</LI>
    Voice recording</LI>
    Rechargeable battery is easily replaceable</LI>
    What I dislike about it...
Only 6GB of storage (that's still a lot of songs though... I don't have that many CD's/songs of mine...but I get most of them from my friends)</LI>
So, what do you guys have for players and which one would you recommend?

The other reason I'm not a big fan of the Zen Micro Photo is that color screen is harder to see, even in the store I had some trouble reading some of the words. I also don't have any photos to put onto it.
Oh, another thing that I kinda didn't like about the Zen Micro (and the same would probably apply to the Sleek as well if it was charged) was when I tried scrolling up and then down quickly, the player interpreted it as me tapping the touch pad to select a menu or option. Although I'm sure it's because it was my first time using the touch pad so I wasn't exactly sure how sensiti've it was. After some practice I should get used to it.

  • Where to Buy Zen Micro and get all the goodi

Hi everyone. I have a MuVoN200 and I love it to death, but I am ready to move on to something bigger. I have had no problems with Creative and I would like to get a Zen Micro.
I've been reading on the internet how some people get different things in their box! Some have a belt clip/stand thing and some don't. I would, of course, like to get the most acessories for my money, so where should I buy mine to get all of the acessories?
I'm considering Target since I have a Target card . . . but Walmart is having a sale on them right now. I saw them in Best Buy, but the box was pretty small, not the tall one. Any input would be appreciated!!

I just received my Zen Micro from bhphotovideo.com for $70 with all the extras (charger, stand):
    http://tinyurl.com/8qcro
However, it came in a box (rumored to be old, prone to headphone jack problem), not plastic packaging. And the firmware installed was only .0.03. This also makes me feel it might not be the newest model with the rumored fix for the headphone jack problem, even though it's from a high-volume reseller. For me, I'll just pay $40 for the extra warranty to balance my risk. Maybe ask Creative where you can buy a newer, headphone-jack-secure Micro with all the trimmings?

  • Zen Micro = Beta prod

Like it or not folks....with all the installation issues, headphone jack problem, firmware issues, etc, the Zen Micro and probably all the other products from Creative are in Beta mode and we are the quality control team (the customers). I doubt that they have a QA team in house. (They probably got the axe)
When someone buys a product off the shelf it is suppoed to be in "production" not beta.
All these issues should not be issues at all.
Bottom line it's all about sales and keeping up iwth the competition.....

u find out if its the so-called second gen?
s the difference in the third faceplate?
@#@#@ sir jeremy - could you give us sir even just a ballpark figure of how many micros have been sold so far and how many have been returned ? (either software or the jack prob).... some of my friends want to buy the micro but when they got to this site, they are all thinking twice now... (I told them it might just be a small percentage that have the defects) ... as for me, i didn't get to research more on my micro here when i bought it, so i wasnt really aware of the nagging problems, my unit is working fine right now (except for some minor charging issues) but by reading through the complaints here, one cannot help but be paranoid... it sort of rubs the joy of having a great player because at the back of your mind, you can't help but wonder whether it will last or not...
thanks in advance for your replies guys...Message Edited by crossover on 08-7-2005 05:39 AM

  • Can I transfer Music from One Zen Micro to another Zen Mic

    Hello,
I've had my Zen Micro (Green) for 3 weeks now and now my girlfriend wants one a Zen Micro too, which she'll get in the next few days. I was wondering if there's any way to transfer mp3s from my Zen Micro to hers?
I was thinking if I plugged 2 Zen Micros into my PC and then load up the Nm=oman Player and just drag the songs from one Zen Micro to another......will that work. Or is it best to just drat the songs onto the PC and then transfer them onto my Girlfriend's Zen?

I would imagine you can do that .... although you may need the latest firmware 2.xxxxx which would mean you have to use WMP 0 ...
I should wait until she gets hers then plug it into your PC and see if it recognises it .... if it does you have no worries .. if not post again and everyone will do there best to help out

  • What to do if new firmware for zen micro is not for you

Ok its pretty simple, takes long but it should work (never been tested)
Uninstall the new firmware (keep all your songs saved onto PC music library)Install the cd you were given with the zen micro. You'll have all your songs on your pc library ( i would reccomend clearing out you zen micro music library and just putting the pc music library songs on your zen micro from there) so just transfer all the files you want onto the zen micro and it should be running fine.please reply and tell me what happens.Zenmastertml

    Hi Prakash,
As per GAAP - FI general accepting account principal,
Balance is define as on date,
while transaction/P&L can define for perticular period date range.
Here, I guess you want to see balance as on 30.06.2011
    and transaction for 01.06.2011 - 30.06.2011.
    Am i right?
FYI, If you use 0BALANCE for any period, let say 01.06.2011 - 30.06.2011
then it will show balance for last day 30.06.2011
because its aggregation is SUM, LAST Value on time characteristics.
More detail on requirement will help us to provide you better solution.

  • Cant use Napster to go and zen micro windows explor

If i want to use my napster to go and have to use firmware --02, but if I want to use zen micro win explorer it wont recog. my device so I have to upgrade to firmware -2-05 erasing all my dl songs from napster....what i want to do is use my zen micro to upload cd's I own and use nap to go, not one or the other.....btw I woke up today and my micro is dead no matter what I try....so let me figure that out now.....should I take this back? my battery life is only like 6hrs!!!....anyway i want to like this so if anyone can help me out?

i see a lot of threads about charging the battery.
i sell high end digital cameras, have for 6 years now. i'm not talking the stuff you find at fry's but the really high end stuff.
this stuff also uses proprietary lithium ion batteries (actually the only thing proprietary is the connectors, all cells come from the same manufacturers)
the key to lithium ion batteries is:
) let it charge overnight the first time you charge it
    2) it takes about 3 full charges and full drains to get the proper life out of it
    3) they dont have memory, ever. i have several abused lithium ion camera batteries that can attest to this
    4) replace after 8 months without fail
my point is, don't stress over it. my micro only got about 7 hours of continous playback with eq on and it just sitting there, and not much more with eq off. the player's life on a single charge and constant crashing when switching off are the only reasons why i returned it on sunday for an ipod mini.

  • Should I buy the Zen Micro or the Zen Touch Playe

I am trying to decide whether to buy the Zen Micro or the Zen Touch. They are roughly the same price. I do not think I need 20GB, but I <EM>hate </EM>to constrain myself.
On the other hand, the Zen Micro appears to offer a few extra features like FM radio, replaceable battery, voice recording and advanced song handling (DJ, for example). The Zen Touch seems to have just the most basic functions.
So what do I do, get a gigantic player with minimal functionality (less than an iPod or Nomad) or a smaller player with more functionality (I am unlikely to use voice and FM recording, and use the FM radio minimally)?
It just seems like the overall Micro firmware is more robust than the Touch firmware, but I'm not sure the tradeoff is worth it.
    What are your thoughts?

I have a Zen Touch. I do not have an enormous music collection, but have maybe 50 or 60 albums on the player. This is something like 6 or 7 GB. It is WAY too much for me (even this much music). I do not need even that many songs on it at once. With support via WMP0 to synchronize, you could just synch up your favorites every time, switch them around, eventually synch up Napter 2 Go stuff and still have a ton on a 5 GB player. Features on the Micro that sound flashy but I would NEVER use are the calendar, contact thing. I have this on my phone, too, and don't use it. I have a PDA--I DO use that. An MP3 player is a pitiful substitute for a PDA (and a PDA is a lousy MP3 player). I would use the Audible Audio support in the Micro. Touch does not have this. I am a huge Audible fan. I had seriously looked at a Rio Carbon, but now that the Micro is out, that would be the player I would buy if I had it to do over again. They do need to develope a way to charge your extra battery for the Micro. The ability to swap batteries is pretty stupid the way it is now--you can only charge it in the player. They need a charger for the spare. Just my opinion, but I think some people get carried away with hard dri've potential. I can't forsee EVER wanting to carry that much music around with me, especially when it will be so easy to change what is on the player once full support for WMP0 comes out. I am just not away from my home computer library for that length of time that I would want to carry most of it around with me. I vote for the Micro.

  • Thinking of buying Vision M to replace Zen Micro...have some queries on internal batte

After?wearing my 2-year-old zen micro into the ground, I've decided I want a Vision M. With my old micro, I'd?got through two batteries and was well on my way to a third - the battery just wasn't lasting long e nough?anymore. With the removable battery, I just replaced it, but I'm worried as to what will happen if I buy a Vision M. If the battery gets to the stage when it only lasts about 3-5 hours of play time, what would I do? I don't know if integrated batteries are more substancial than removable ones...if someone could let me know about this that'd be great. Thanks?in advance?=)

I had this same question and did some searching. I found the following site;http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archi'ves/2006/02/how-to-disassemble-the-creative-zen-vision-m.phpI'm guessing this would void the waranty, but I'm also guessing that by the time this was required the waranty wouldn't be a issue anymore anyway. • Has anyone ever convinced somebody to buy a Zen Micro over an iPod Mi

I'm just curious to see your responses, personally, I convinced many people that the Zen Micro was superior in terms of features, function, and battery, and yet, after telling them that the Micro was better, they still said "Eh....but I still like the iPod better".....and then i ask "why, it's better in terms of function and features", and the respond "iPods look really cool, and i like that spinning wheel thing"

I don't necessarily think it's a better player, but I'm disappointed in Creative and blame them for making it really hard to find a nice case for my 40gb zen touch.

    40gb Zen Xtra
    5gb Zen Micro
Have you looked at the belkin case? It is nice and works for the Touch 20gb and 40gb.
I showed one of my ipod using friends my touch, and convinced them that they should have gotten a touch (hopefully they will get a touch once their ipod breaks (the ipod is 5 months old, should break any day now )) And I convinced one of my other friends that the micro is better, but even though they belei've the micro is better, they bought a ipod mini because "it looks cooler and everyone else has one" Grrrrr, why would you want the same mp3 player as every other person at our school :C

Well at least you got it working. MTP does require your system to be nearly perfect as MTP relies on a dozen (or more) files to get itself working completly, if one isn't working then you got yourself problems. But at least you figured out a repair of XP was a solution for you. Another would of been to reinstall the Service Pack.

  • Zen Micro and 'Running'....I know a dumb question, but want an non-Creative/Seagate ans

I've just gotten the Zen Micro 6 gb, and if I should ever get the stupid thing to work with my computer (the whole player not connected issue), can I use it while jogging? I know that it is not 'recommended' by the Powers that be, but has anyone ever had any problems? I have an iPod Shuffle and several Rio's before that - so I'm used to the flash players and have never used a 'hard dri've player'. The girl at Best Buy says she runs with her iPod with no problem. Anyone use these this way? I have the 2 yr extended warranty, so breaking doesn't bother me. its the skipping, etc.

The hard dri'ves currently used in MP3 players, while designed for "mobile" use" were not intended to actually be used in situations where repeated hard shocks to the unit occur (notebooks, PDAs, cards for secure networking gear, etc.). The dri'ves will fail after exposure to repeated shocks. Just when? No one can say for sure (YMMV). So yes, the term "mobile hard dri've" is a bit misleading in this case, but running/jogging is definitely too mobile. Riding a bike on a smooth road wouldn't be nearly as bad but could still cause trouble. Off-road biking would definitely cause problems (which is why a buddy of mine who rides off-road every day just picked up a Zen Nano GB to go with whatever harddri've-based DAP he gets).
As you probably already know, Seagate has recently announced a line of products that is more tolerant of such conditions (the EE25 and ST). Unfortunately, DAP manufacturers aren't very likely to acti'vely advertise that they are using such dri'ves in their next generation players for fear of "less-informed" consumers assuming that their older players can do the same thing.
