Want to change customer enhancement tab name in CJ20N

Hi Friends
As per our requirement, we have created customer enhancement tab in CJ20N (project definition level).
It shows the name as cust.enhancement, but as per our requirement we want to change the tab name.
But we are not able to change that.
if anybody come accross this type of scenario, kindly let me know.

Hi mithilesh,
we can do it. but it may need access key. Find out the screen number and program name.
Go to se51 and input the program name and screen number then select Layout ->display.
click on that tab, move change mode then give the text what do you want.

There is a OSS note 1340615 for the same.
I just copied the same from market place.
Follow the steps to make the change if the changes can't be downloaded auotomatically.
1. Start the transaction SE51.
2. Give program as SAPLCOIH and screen as 1100. Select the radio button (option) 'Element List'.
3. Click on the change button.
4. In general attr. for the field 'BTN_PLUS_CUK' change the column 'Vislg' from the value '10' to '13'
5. Save and activate.
6. Go back to initial screen of the SE51 transaction.
7. Give program as SAPLCOIH and screen as 1205. Select the radio button (option) 'Element List'.
8. Click on the change button.
9. In general attr. for the field 'BTN_VGD5' change the column 'Vislg' from the value '10' to '13'
10. Save and activate.

TS4002 when I was assigned my ".me accounts.... I used the name of the company that I worked for. Then I received a iCloud account. The problem is I want to change the two original names but can't because they're greyed out. Is there anything I can do?

Also, If you want to go with user-exit option then check the following exits:
1. CNEX0009 -- EXIT_SAPLCOMK_001
      Use this exit while processing materials from the network orders.
2. CNEX0011 -- EXIT_SAPLCOMK_002
      With this user exit, you can modify the quantity of the BOM items which are exploded at the BOM explosion
in the network screens.
      This exit will export STPOX_TAB table which is the structure of the BOM items.
3. CNEX0014 -- EXIT_SAPLCN10_001
      The user exit can be activated when you want to transfer BOM items from external systems.
      If the exit is active then the indicator for the takeover of external data in the initial screen of the interface like
CN33 should be set active.
      In return, a table with the extended structure of the BOM items (STPOX) is expected.
4. CNEX0015 -- EXIT_SAPLCN10_002
      This exit can be used to change BOM data for BOM transfer.
      If this user exit is called, then a function module is called after the BOM explosion. This function module
receives a structure with fields from the initial screen (RCNIP01) as well as the table of selected Bill of
materials items (STPOX).
      The changed table can be returned to the calling program for further processing.
5. CNEX0026 -- EXIT_SAPLCOMK_005
      This user exit is used to check if there are any changes done to the material component in the component
overview screen or the details screen of the material component.
      Please note that this user exit is called only during the change in component overview screen or
component detail screen. In other words this exit cannot be called if for an example the network order header
changes which involved in the material component change during release or scheduling etc.,
6. CNEX0034 -- EXIT_SAPLCN10_003
      This user exit is used to check if a new assignment is allowed for the network activity during BOM transfer
to PS (CN33).
7. CNEX0035 -- EXIT_SAPLCN10_004
      This user exit is used to check if a change to an existing assignment is allowed for the network activity
during BOM transfer to PS (CN33).
8. CNEX0036 -- EXIT_SAPLCN10_005
      This user exit is used to check if any existing assignment can be deleted during BOM transfer to PS
(CN33).
9. CNEX0037 -- EXIT_SAPLCOMK_011
      This user exit can be called during creation of new material component to the network activity.
10. CNEX0038 -- EXIT_SAPLCOMK_012
      This user exit can be called during change of material component.
11. CNEX0038 -- EXIT_SAPLCOMK_013
      This user exit can be called during deletion of material component.
12. CNEX0040 -- Source determination of the network
      This user exit is used to activate the source determination of the network.
13. CNEX0041 -- EXIT_SAPLCOZF_004
               -- EXIT_SAPLCOZF_005
      This exit is used to influence the date of price simulation when you specify a Purchasing Info Record for an
activity/element or for a component.
14. CNEX0042 -- EXIT_SAPLCN10_006
      This user exit is used to control the generation of preliminary requirements for the top level BOM item
during multi-level BOM explosion.

Firefox by default uses a blank page for a new tab. Something you installed has changed that action to what you are complaining about. You need to figure out which add-on made that change and disable that add-on or change the preference in that add-on.

Tab name change in Puchase Order

Hi,
We have added some fields to Purchase Order Customer Sub screen. This added a new tab called "Customer Data" to the transaction. Now I want to change this tab name to something else. Please let me know how can I do that.
There is a similar thread where it was solved but no information on how to do that.

If you are using the BADI 'ME_GUI_PO_CUST'. then in "IF_EX_ME_GUI_PO_CUST~SUBSCRIBE".
Assign ls_subscriber-label = Tab Name.

If you are using the customer exit method then, goto SE38 and enter the program name SAPLXM06 (This can be modified for certain change) and select the logon language changes
goto Text elements, enter 101 as text id and enter the details,
and also enter text id 111, and enter the same details
Save and Activate.
Note : If you maintain the original language and maintain the text elements, then you will not get the changes in tab. So keep this in mind and change.
I have maintained like this in my system

To check whether the tab text is correct or not, set a break point in program LMEGUIU06 on line no 316 and check.

Changing tab name in one component that used in different applications -FPM

Hi gurus,
I have an FPM component configuration, which have different tabs.
This component i have used in different applications.
I just want to know how can I dynamically change the name of one tab in different applicatins?
I want to change only the tab name. content in the tab is same.
For eg. If I open a Bid from Rfx, it should show "Rfx Information" as one tab name. But if i open a bid from Auction, it should show 'Auction Information'.
Content in this tab is same.
Is there any way to do that? Or shall I create different component config. for bid to use in Auction application and another one for RFx application?

Changed Tab name is showing old name some times

Hi Friends,
I had successfully changed the enhanced tab name from the screen painter using translation and it also reflected in the transaction.
When i am going to another tab within the same screen, changed tab name 'Safety Inf' is again getting changed to old name 'Enhancemnt'. when i go back again to the enhanced tab, again my changed name is coming as 'Safety inf'.
User doesn't like this...
What could be the reason? any body has idea?

I want to change the page a new tab opens to. I am only getting "Yeppo" no matter what I do. I will permanently movve to Chrome if this cannot be fixed.

I am able to set my homepage, but not the new tab. I want to change the new tab to my homepage. Right now, it only opens to Yeppo. If this cannot be fixed, I will be forced to permanently move to Google Chrome.

I'm afraid that it's not possible with OpenXML SDK, but it's possible if you use Excel PIA along with Internet Explorer. Use the Internet Explorer COM object to render the HTML content, then copy the document, use the Paste method of the Worksheet object
to paste the text with format.

Changing the Sender's Name of an Email Address

Hello Experts
I am sending Emails from an Activity in the Interaction Center WinClient and is working good. The thing is that i don't want to display the name of the person that is sending the e-mail once the e-mail is sent.
For security reasons, i want to change the sender's name for a text.
For instance, if Jose Perez is sending the e-mail, i want change that for Solution Center. That way, when the customer receive the e-mail, he will see Solution Center and the e-mail address ('[email protected]) of the sender.
Can anyone help me solve this issue?

In the function module SO_OBJECT_SEND, which is used to send e-mails, you can pass the parameter ORIGINATOR and ORIGINATOR_TYPE.
ORIGINATOR = the email address that will appear as 'From'
ORIGINATOR_TYPE = 'U' for internet e-mailadresses.

After migrating a MacBook Pro system to a Mac Pro, I´ve the same name on both computers. That´s a problems for Mobile Me, sharing, etc. Is it possible to change both (I need just one, but I want to change both) computer´s names?

What are the implications of that change (if possible) for Mobile Me, Sharing, Printers, Scanner, External HDD, Applications, etc. Do I need to operate other changes in order to prevent problems?

Go to system preferences and the sharing tab, then change the "computer name".
That's not a problem for anything.
If you had links from the other computer in the name.local format, you'll just need to update them.
