Want to change the client in UME j2ee engine

Hi Experts,
In new installation of SAP pi 7.4. We have changed client at all places now we want to change the UME client.
For changing clients i refered notes:
940309 - Change PI default client after NW 7.0 Installation
Change UME master: To do this start either the 'offlinecfgeditor' shell script or logon to
the Visual Administrator with the j2ee_admin user and browse to the 'Configuration Adapter'
service. Navigate to 'cluster_data -> server -> cfg -> services' and edit Propertysheet
"com.sap.security.core.ume.service". Change Property "ume.r3.connection.master.client" to the
new client. Save and restart the J2EE Engine.
But seems NWA replaced Visual adminstrator for this activity .Could anyone please tell me where to change client in NWA for UME(user management engine)
Basically my abap stack is pointing set to client 100 and java to client 001 default for password authentication.

Login to the Configtool-> switch to the configuration editor mode (click on edit mode) ->configuration ->cluster_data->server-> cfg> services-> Propertysheet com.sap.security.core.ume.service.

Hi Senthil,
If you want to just change the client then you have to go to the XCM of your application and follow the following link.
Components -> customer -> jco. here you will see the details of the client which you can change.
But if you want to keep the existing client and create another scenario which will connect to the diffrent client then you have to create a new jco, new Application configuration, new RFC connection. In CRM system you have to check the transaction SRMO.

Requirement:
Our requirement is to remove one of the Release Code from the existing release sequences, with out affecting the old Purchase Orders.(including Released and Partially Released)
Changes we done:
Once we remove the specific release Code and found that it affects all the Purchase Orders (both Released and Partially Released) which are relevant to this removed code.
Is there any other way to do this changes with out affecting the old Purchase orders (we don't have Work flow in the Release Strategy).

Hi,
If you want to change the release code, then what are the open order which or not released and in process make sure those PO's are released then you can change the release code.
Else System wouldnt allow you to process further, then you need to create new PO's, So avoiding this first release all the open PO's and partial release PO's then you do change the release code.

Services in JCo RFC not getting started after Changing the client from 001

Hi SAP Stars,
I have recently Installed Quality and Production servers with PI 7.1 on windows 2003, Sqlserver 2005, when I'm doing Post Activities(http://host:port/nwa) in which I try to change the client from 001 to 300(newly created) in JCo RFC(4 services) and start the service it is throwing error when I again change it to 001 client and start the service it is getting started, Could anyone help me in solving this issue same issue I facing in PI 7.1 Quality and Production

Hi Anil,
All these JCo RFCs are client specific RFCs.
Please logon your PI NWA
Choose Configuration Management - Infrastructure- JCo RFC Provider
Then, Select the RFC
Under Details -> Choose Repository Configuraton
Change the client name to 300 (your new client)
Save
And repeat the same for all JCo RFC that you want to work for your newly created client.
Please ensure that you are using SAPJSF user & correct password for all these RFCs.
Ideally, these rfcs shuould work now if now please restart your PI (mostly Java alone also do)

I want to change the legacy Assest data for my client. While Changeing its give error that Transfer the data or close the Year. year 2005 is closed. In Assest data Transfer , In date Parameters given data is 31-03-2007. For 2006 Dep is not at run.

Hi Raj,
Use transaction code AJRW to run the Fiscal Year change for 2005 and AJAB to run Year End Close. Do the same for 2006.
Then, go back to AS92, indicate the Asset number, subnumber and the company code. Click on Take over values. Correct the APC and the Accummulated Depreciation value to what it should be and hit the enter button. This would determine your NBV for you. Save your entries.

I want to change the Background Color of Selected Tab of the tabstrip visible in Content Admin Role (Browse, Overview etc.).
I have changed the Background Color of Selected Tab - Tabstrips-Complex Elements through Theme Editor, but that did not take effect.
Only the other webdynpro components tabstrips took effect.

I don't know if you have already figured out how to change the background color of the tabstrip, but I will explain how we have done it.
You might have tried to change the background color in "Tabstrip" (under the menu "Complex Elements") in Theme Editor. When you change the property "Background color of selected/unselected tabs", this will not change the color of the images on the tabstrip (ex. the triangle on the side of the tab). These images are on the server. We copied these images and then made changes to them, before we uploaded them again through the Theme Editor.
The path to find the images is /usr/sap/~/JC01/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/portalapps/com.sap.design.urdesigndata/themes/portal/the name of your theme/common/tablist
If this didn't work for you, you might have to change the properties in "Pattern Containers" (under Complex Elements") in Theme Editor. The tablist properties are under the header "Tab Container".
I think it should work for you then. We also found that there was some problems when we tried to view the changes in Firefox, but haven't figured out how to solve this.

Maybe some one else can pipe up with a solution, but this would literally take 2 seconds to do for a new project. And you can create a "template project" that includes this "text" clip. Save this project and then to a get info and check "stationary pad." When you double click on this file, fcp will open with a copy of this project and you just need to do a save as.
