Want to change the Look & Feel of Login page

Hi,
I am using Oracle Webcenter 11g (Version 11.1.1.2.0) . I want to change the look & Feel of Login.jspx . I have gone through the extension document
"*http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/webcenter/pdf/owcs_r11_extend_spaces_wp.pdf"*, it listed about customizing the Landing page .
But i want to change the look & feel of *"Login.jspx"* page along with want this as landing page. How i will achieve this, will it be done through the same document that i am referring .Please suggest me.

I just wonder if i could change the global toolbar of the login page though this or not.
As i changed the webcenter global tool bar (i,e increase the height of the toolbar) using CustomSiteTemplate, but the login page toolbar height remains as it is.
So how could i achieve this and one more thing how could i make the login page as the landing page and once login done it should forwarded to webcenter spaces. Please reply asap.

In SharePoint 2013, most part of the icon images are displayed from one image which is called spcommon.png and they are in different part of the image.
If you want to change the icon image, you can edit the site’s mater page and use code to change the icon image.

do you know where in the code/ in the page i can find the import of the SPcommon.png file for these 3 bricks.
I masterpage i could find where to change icon for some features (fullscreen, the blue panner, Dropdown bread clum and so on) but i couldnt find the three ponits, if i can find the tag for this one then i can change the icon path to another one instead

Change the look of the dynamic table

I had the dynamic table. I want to change the look of the table. I am facing two challenges
1. To change the background color of header
I tried by overriding the css of the header "table.Tbl th.TblColHdr" but this did not help me.
2. To change the color of the alternate rows
Could any one help me on this regard

How do you change the back ground of a page?

This doesn't seem to be working. I go to the page, bring up the inspector, go to page > layout > choose color fill, then use the color wheel, but the background doesn't change. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

If you want to change the background colour of a page, then you need to open the Inspector and go to Page and then Layout instead. If you do this you can change both the background colour of the page and the page colour itself, which can be two different things.
Sometimes you need to double click for the colour to change.

It does not work this way. You have to use a content editor webpart.

Edit templates and change the look and feel of apex UI

Hello Tj,
You can spend some time on how to create your own Template, but it comes down to design your site in html and then break it into pieces and change the Templates in APEX with that html.
In that html you use tags e.g. #BOX_BODY# to tell APEX where the forms and reports need to come.

I think the best method is to just try it. Sure we give a course on that too, so it's up to you if you need training on that or the doc/your tries are sufficient or not.
Once you know how things work you can do pretty much everything.

Changing the look and feel of BSP pages(HAP_DOCUMENT)

My client doesn't like the standard layout of the appraisal documents. The standard BSP application used for this is HAP_DOCUMENT.
I am trying to change the font type and sizes etc in the layout. I read about CSS. But i am not able to understand how to use these Cascade Style Sheets in BSP application.
i went through the BLOG <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1117">BSP/HowTo: CSS Hints - Custom Design for your BSP Applications</a>(did some home work)
. it does givean idea about the CSS. but i am not sure how to use in my case.
For example i want to change the font size of the appraiser name. in the layout of the page there is the below code:

          </htmlb:tableViewColumn>
but no attribute to change the font. and for many other fields, they are not mentioned in the layout.....
so how do i change the style without that being in the layout....
If any one worked on changing the layout of BSP applications please guide me.

Thanks a lot for your inputs. I am trying to use the CSS sheet option as i have to make many more changes in the application other than the fonts(like change the width of the box, line spacing etc).
I am trying to get the standard style sheet used in this application so that i can make changes. but in the appl i am not able to find the exact style sheet being used.
in the layout_sap_standard.htm view i see tthis statement <htmlb:content design="DESIGN2002+DESIGN2003" and then this view includes the file document_header.htm so i went into this page fragment document_header.htm and i dont see any usefful information in layout.
So i went to the MIME reporitory and looked for DESIGN2003+DESING2002 and i found SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/design2002. i see so many css files under that folder. so as a trial i looked at the source code of the page and i found some statemnts which are given in the layout of the page like " cellpadding="0" id="htmlb_gridlayout_2" class="urGridLayout" etc...but icouldnot find any command pointing towards the cssfiles...
i am totally lost.....
i tried to attach some screen shots but was not able to do that here.....
can you please help me out here.....if you dont mind please give me ur email id so that i can send you in detail what i am trying to achieve....
i have spent many hours doing research on this and now i have to deliver the work to the client soon....
any help is greatly appreciated.

This works just fine, but I once the portal renders itself in my
browser, I usually have to refresh the page before the changes to the
shell and look & feel are visible. I would like to do this in the
init() method of the backing file but I do not know how to determine
the current active page from within init.
I would appreciate any help you all could give me in finding a solution
so I do not have to refresh the page in order to see the shell and look
& feel changes. Thanks in advance!

We essentially have 2 "portals" running inside 1 .portal file. We'd
like to be able to use single sign on and entitlements to allow/restrict
access to various parts of the 2 portals (where certain books are
consider part of portal "A" and others part of portal "B"). If you are
logged in as a super-user, you will be able to access everything. If
you are logged in as user type "A" you can only access portal "A," and
similarly for user type "B" and portal "B."
Portals A and B have each have a distinct header, footer (i.e. shell),
and look and feel (skeleton and skin). If a super-user is looking at
portal A, the portal should have portal A's header, footer, and look and
feel, and similarly for portal B.
How would you recommend we accomplish this? Would it make more sense
(and is it possible) to have the header and footer jsps determine what
content to render based on the current book or page, and then use the
code you suggested below to change the look and feel dynamically?

maybe be more specific...
you can sync multiple devices to the same itunes account on the same laptop. Simply plug in the new iphone 4s and check off all the settings you want to sync (apps, music, playlists, books, videos, etc).
If you want your iphone 4s to look exactly like your 3gs...
1. do an icloud backup of your 3gs
2. restore your iphone 4s to factory settings
3. when setting up the phone, choose "restore from icloud backup"
4. choose the most recent icloud backup (should display the date and time of the 3gs backup you just performed
5. phone will load everything just as it is on the 3gs... onto the iphone 4s

Custom Composed Look not appearing in Change the Look with custom color palette

Hi,
I created custom color palette, (which was a copy of one of the out of the box ones) and uploaded it to the Themes folder under a different name. I then went to the Composed Looks and created a new Composed Look(using the New
Items), which the seattle master page, and the new color palette that I created.
When I go to Change a Look, the new Composed Look does not appear as part of the options.
When I change the color palette of the Composed Look, to one of the out of the box ones, I see it I the Change a Look page.
What am I doing wrong?

I would check two things. First, did you check in the spcolor file you created? Second, I would review all of the properties of your composed look found in "/_catalogs/design/AllItems.aspx". You might want to copy and paste all properties (except
title and name) and see if your new composed look shows up in "Change the look". Then link to your own custom spcolor file.
