Want to check on an order but don't have the order number
I ordered a recovery disk yesterday. Before I could write down the order number from the confirmation page I accidentaly clicked on something because I lost the page. Course I got an email confirmation on the ac cord but I did not get an email verification on the recovery disk which I was hoping for. Is there somewhere to check on orders without the order number or somewhere to contact HP for FREE to find out so I can check on this order. I paid extra to receive the package the next day. Thank you for any help!

You need to contact HP support not the HP user Forum about your recovery disk if you ordered them.

Need not worry. Your old computer is gone, no worries at all because we cannot retrieve serial numbers from the hardware. If you ever had registered your products (Which I think you would have), you can navigate to adobe.com/account.html. And sign in with the email under which you bought it (Can check with all emails that you have).
For downloading, please navigate to adobe.com/downloads/other-downloads.html.

In this complicated case, I think it's important that you get your work in.
The Photography Plan includes Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC. Open an account with them and for $10 a month you can be back in business which I think nets you more than $10. It's what I do. You can do this immediately. You get two seats and they can be either Mac or PC.
In your spare time you can sort out the license issue and cancel the plan later on if this is fixed.
If you don't want to go there, then you will have to call Customer Service by phone and hope they can fix this.

What password? Did you encrypt your backup & now can't remember the encrypted backup passcode? If so, no, you won't be able to use that backup. If on a Mac, & you elected to save the passcode to your Keychain, you can recover it from that. Otherwise, you'll have to delete the backup. The data is unrecoverable.

I currently have a MackBook with Photoshop CS6 installed. This came with the laptop when I bought it on eBay, therefore, I don't have the serial number for the software. Can I still transfer the Photoshop CS6 from this laptop onto a new one?

Whoever sold you the laptop should have removed the software first, or gone through the proper process to transfer the license to you. Chances are that they used it to obtain an upgrade, in which case it would not even to eligible to be transferred. -

Convert pdf to word doc-but don't have the export option.
I want to convert a pdf (that I got from an email) into a Word doc so I can edit it the way I want to. However, for some reason now I don't have the 'Export' option in my File drop down list.
Funny thing is, I've converted the document once already and have entirely forgotten how I did it obviously!
I've made so many changes in my first conversion I want to start over.
why don't I have the 'Export' option? Or ... when I do a 'save as' and chose 'word doc' it only does a copy - paste type save - where I can't make any changes. It's like it puts it into a text box or something.

This usually happens when you're dealing with a very poor quality scanned document that doesn't have enough data for the Acrobat OCR engine to actually process.
As for Acrobat 6.0 Pro, I don't believe the Save as Word function was introduced until version 8.0, but it's been a few years and the memory of Acrobat 6 has faded a bit.
