Want to clone/duplicate across three screens

i have a user with a W530 and a K1000M video chipset. She wants to have the same thing sent to the laptop screen, the projector connected via the VGA port and a television connected via the mini-display port converted to HDMI.
I seen to be able to clone any two with the Windows display properties. But it won't clone all three.
Any suggestions? Will the nVidia control center do that?
I'm at a disadvanage because I do not have a set up to test things with.

I don't believe "clone mode" supports more than two monitors simultaneously. And then of course the two outputs would be truly identical, and would have the same resolution characteristics as the "lowest common denominator" monitor. So if the two displays were dissimilar in size/shape (e.g. a 4:3 desktop CRT and a flatpanel 16:9), you'd see less than "native" on the higher resolution monitor, and you'd see the desktop size/shape of the smaller monitor on the larger one.
But in any case, clone mode on the W530 would include only the laptop screen and one external monitor, not two external monitors.
Now I think the single Displayport connection option can support two monitors through it (I've got no experience with this).
So instead of trying to support one of your user's outputs using a projector connected via VGA, what about exploring two display devices via the single DP output? I don't know if this also works in clone mode (so that both of the DP monitors would contain the identical output as the laptop screen), or only has a prayer of working in "extended desktop" mode where each of these multiple DP monitors is independent along with the laptop screen as well?
Might work, or might not.
But using VGA, DP, and laptop screen all together in 3-monitor clone mode on the W530 is not happening.

The below items appeared when I opened Photoshop CS 5:
“Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver and has temporarily disabled G & U enhancements. Check the video card malfunctions website for latest software. GPU enhancements can be enabled in the performance panel of preferences.”
(I believe this started after the automatically updated Windows was applied. It was coincident with the before mentioned problem . . . but I don’t really know if it had anything to do with it. )

For the Clone Stamp problem, check the Clone Source panel and Clipped is probably unchecked.
If so, check Clipped and see if that makes a difference.

As to the video card problem:
Which version of windows are you using?
What is the make and model of your graphics card?
Do you know which update windows installed?

I was hesitant to purchase this protection plan at first about $70, but the customer service agent reassured me that there were no deductables and thats why I bought into it. But now that I look around on the support site, I see that it says that there are up to two incidents covered for a service fee of $49. Did I really get duped?

If the issue is a manufacturing defect, there is no cost to have the device replaced.
If the issue is a result of user damage (like a cracked screen) and you have AppleCare+ Apple will replace the device for the minimal fee of $49. They will do this up to two times during the timeframe of the protection plan.
If the issue is the result of user damage and you do not have AppleCare+ then the Out of Warranty replacement cost is $199 for the 4S.
No, you were not duped, you were simply not completely informed. Whether that was a result of them not sharing all the information or you only hearing what you wanted, no one here knows.

Why is DPM 2012 R2 splitting this Co-located Protection Group Set across three different tapes?

I have 10 protection groups that ran Saturday night. I have put information about them in the following table:
I extracted the data in the table using Get-DPMProtectionGroup CmdLet and the job information from the Monitoring page of the DPM admin console. As you can see from the tape barcode, DPM wrote the first four PGs to one tape, then started a second
tape, and finally failed when starting a third because it had run out of free tapes.
All of the protection groups are assigned to the same "Co-Located Protection Group Set" in the "Tape Optimization Setup" dialog box.
Prior to the jobs running, I painstakingly ensured that each of the Protection Group's "Select Long-Term Goals" and "Select Library and Tape Details" screens are identical as follows:
Prior to running the jobs I had already disabled autoclean on the tape library.
I have checked to see if the tape drive is reporting IO error 0x8007045D using the method described in this blog post:

There seems to be no mention of 0x8007045D or -2147023779 in any of the MSDPM*.Errlog files.

What else should I check for that might cause DPM to start a new tape?

Thanks for taking a look at the logs. I just wanted to point out that there were actually two changes made just before collocation succeeded:
Write Period and Expiry Tolerance were increase
Full Verbose logging was enabled
This technet article states that Full Verbose logging affects performance. If the problem with collocation is caused by a race condition then it is
possible that enabling logging actually caused collocation to succeed. At this point there doesn’t seem to be any evidence pointing to which of the two changes resulted in collocation succeeding.
I propose I run the following tests to differentiate the two:
Test #1 - Collocation Confirmation
Repeat last weekend's test to confirm that successful collocation wasn't an anomaly. Configuration:
full verbose logging: Enabled
Expiry Tolerance: 1 year
Write Period: 1 year
Test #2 - Logging Only
Test to see whether enabling Full Verbose logging enabled collocation to succeed. Configuration:
full verbose logging: Enabled
Expiry Tolerance: 7 days
Write Period: 6 day

Now when I try too connect my iPhone 4 to iTunes on my computer at home an error message comes up saying that I have to unlock my iPhone 4 for it to communicate to my device.
But the problem is that I can't unlock my iPhone 4 because I'm unable to see the key pad and my touch screen no longer responds when I touch it.
I just want to reset my iPhone 4 back to its Factory Settings & start all over from the beginning.
How can I unlock my iPhone 4 with iTunes on my computer or any other option you suggest me trying.

If you have had a "local guy "repair your iphone you will not get any support from Apple for warranty OR post warranty
If Verizon return it to Apple it wil not be handled by Apple
If Verizon also use unauthorised repairers you may be lucky
(Apple do not sell parts to local guys or anyone else )

Time scrolls across the screen each minute

does iPhone have an active notification feature where the time scrolls across the screen each minute? Or is there an app that does this?
I saw a Motorola smartphone yesterday that had this feature. It would be fabulous !!!!!!

TThe feature I saw didn't require touching the phone, the time automatically scrolled across just for a few seconds, each minute.
FAbulius for for a massage therapist who uses her hands to work on clients but wants to know the time.
are you suggesting that if I unlock my phone, I can see the time on my phone without touching the phone? Is this constant and therefore a drain on my battery? Then too my phone isn't locked.
IM missing something for sure. can you explain?

Horizontal gray line across imac screen

Hello, wonder if anyone could help with this one...(sigh)...
This evening, quite suddenly, a gray (or black, depending on what's on the screen) vertical line has appeared across my imac screen, about a quarter of the way up from the bottom. Above that are some are three, much lighter lines (more like subtle variations or blocks of colour running across the screen). These appear on all windows I open. I took a screen shot using grab and the very definite gray line doesn't appear. Can anyone give me suggestions of what's wrong and what I can do - I'm out of applecare warrenty now I'm afriad. Is it repairable? or am I looking a buying a new machine, because these lines will drive me crazy.

Excellent work, the Screen Grab grabs it from the Video card, so the prlem is after/outside of that.
Could be the Internal Video cable, or the LCD itself.

Laptop suddenly had horizontal lines running across the screen

Suddeenly horizontal lines appreared across the screen .
I have shut down and started up the computer numerous times and it does not go away .
It also affects the graphics and text on the screen .
If I cannot fix should I have the computer cleaned and set back to factory standard and how do i do that /

2 possibilities:
1. The video chip (motherboard) has gone bad; or,
2. Just the screen has gone bad.
Connect the computer to an external monitor and see if the lines appear on it. If so, it is #1.
It is doubtful that restoring the laptop to factory specs will have any effect on the isue either way but if you want to do that you can tap F11 as you power up to enter factory reset.

it is possible that zoom maybe enabled i think double taping with three fingers should disable it.
or you can go into settings>general> assessability> zoom and turn it off.

Colored and white lines across iPad screen

Ok so I got home from work and I pulled my iPad out of my laptop bag and I noticed that when I turn it on there are like these colored lines and also this big white bar across the screen. Why are those things there?

My son bought the original ipad in November 2010, it is now only a few weeks out of warranty. He turned it on tonight and as other people have mentioned on this forum the ipad now has coloured lines across the screen. I called customer services and I must say i am extrememly disappointed with the response I got. They offered me a replacement for £260..... no other explanation other than it may be a hardware problem. After paying £600 for the original ipad only just over a year ago I would expect better from Apple. Myself, my husband and my three children all have iphones and other apple products but I must say if this is the support you get then I would consider other options in the future. Very disappointing....... If anyone else other than a customer service agent who reads from a script can help then please get in touch. Thanks

Xperia Z3+ Dual, Lines across the screen

I just recieved my new Xperia Z3+ Dual E6533 And these lines appear across the screen when watching film clips.The screenshot below is from YoutubeIt seems to dissappear when I turn off X-Reality I also noticed small white dots appearing in the background for a second after flipping to a new home screen. X-Reality does not seem to affect this issue.I have tried factory reset and updated to the latest android version.Other than this, the device is gold.Should I return the phone? or can it be resolved? I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..
Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.

I understand you have a white dotted line across the screen of your display.
It would help to know which product and operating system you are using. It looks like you've posted the serial number instead. For information on finding your product and model numbers click here: How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? To see which version of Windows you are using click here: Which Windows operating system am I running?
The easiest way to tell if this is an issue with the display or graphics card (GPU) is to try an external monitor. If the issue is present on another display, you're looking at a hardware or software issue with the GPU. If the line is not present on the external monitor it's an issue with the display.
Line on monitor:
Update the GPU drivers from this website: Drivers & Downloads.
System restore to before the issue started. Tap F11 while the notebook boots to access the HP Recovery Manager.
No line on monitor:
Reseat to display cable connection. I can provide more info on this once you've provided the product number for the notebook.

Question about dual monitors - view stretching across both screens

I recently switched from my desktop to a ProBook 4710s. The laptop is plugged into dual LG monitors. On my old desktop, I could keep the Photoshop program in one window (I could maximize it in one window) and drag the toolbar to the second window. Now, when I maximize, it stretches across both screens. This is pretty inconvenient, in that the image is cut by the borders of the screens (unless I unpin it). I would really appreciate any help.

The HP website says the laptop only supports 1 VGA external monitor. What adapter are you using to split the VGA port and have you contacted the company to see how to make it show how you want? I found nothing on the HP site on running 2 monitors and a adapter to do it.

Image movement and tracking across a screen

Hi All, hope you're well.
I'm new to writing games, so here goes with the probably simple q's.
I'm writing a game in an Applet and I want to move images across a background, but not just in straight lines. E.g. I want to move an image in an arc shape, like throwing a ball, or jumping in the air. So I need to be able plot movement trajectories.
I also need to know when the user clicks an image with the cursor, i.e. if they click the screen, I need to know if the cursor was over the image at the time, i.e. if they 'hit' the image successfully.
Are there any useful classes / packages I should be looking at to help me with these problems?
Any advice, suggestions or tips and tricks would be appreciated. Thanks.

implement MouseListener in your app, and in the MousePressed() method...
