Want to connect internet on lappy using dataplan

Hello,
I m Using Tour 9630, having a data plan with unlimited browsing, i have a vodafone india carrier,
I just wanted to connect internet on my laptop using my data plan, using my blackberry.
Is this possible? if yes , then how should i do this.

Please see this KB (along with the links within) for some instructions. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be written for the latest 6.0 Desktop Software. But, the 6.0 features discussed in this KB seem to say that the feature remains. Since I don't use that function myself, I've got no direct guidance for you.

OK, I see what you want.
I'm afraid it can't be done. Your 5530 cannot act as a bridge between bluetooth and a wireless internet connection. If you try and use it as a modem over a bluetooth connection it will connect to the internet using your operator's packet data service and channel that over bluetooth, not the connection already established via the WLAN.

usb don't really carry audio at all so all audio devices you connect with usb are really full audio cards which use drivers and also use more proccessing power then using the internal audio system so it's really better to connect using the audio output port on the back of your imac

That has nothing to do with anything. Whether the resource is on the local network or accesible through the internet only is not relevent here at all. This forum is for Java network programming. If a resouce is not available because you are not connected physically to a network that is a network problem. That is not a Java progamming problem.

There's alot of rubbish posted in this forum about "public networks" and what not and not one lick of it is related to Java programming. Yes if you connect through more routers to something there is a better chance that somewhere along the way that you will hit a firewall or other similar issue. But these are all network issues. Not networking programming issues. And not resolvable directly in Java any way you want to think about it.

Hello there hastibahreini,
It sounds like you were using your Wi-Fi network from your Airport base station and the connection cut out. You have reset the password on the device but the issue persists. I would try the 3 resets outlined in the following article in order to help resolve the issue. If it persists, is the Wi-Fi connection issue happening on more than one device or computer?

I want to be able to Skype to states from there. We have a friend with a 3G ipad who uses an Orange sim card to do it. I would rather not have to buy an Ipad.

Thanks for replying. The plan you have it would be an additional charge to add the hotspot feature. It's not free with the Nationwide plan. You would need to add the feature online at www.verizonwireless.com/myverizon

It should not take very long. Up to thirty seconds tops depending on your Wi-Fi network.
Try rebooting your Wi-Fi router. Turn off the router for 30 seconds then turn it back on. After the router completes its startup routine and indicates a good connection to the internet start you iPad again and see if it will connect.
If you still have problems you might try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network. Maybe one at your local coffee shop or library.

TC: The Internet connection is currently in use by another computer...

So, I have a TC connected to a Netopia ADSL modem from Earthlink. Ocassionally, when the computer has left the wireless network, I will come home to find the following page with the Earthlink logo at the top:
“The Internet connection is currently in use by another computer
( 172.16.1.10 ).
Enter your DSL Account logon password to switch the Internet
connection to this computer.”
If I enter the password and click "Obtain Connection", I am taken to another page that says that I can now access the Internet, blah blah blah... and another button that says "Release Connection".
First of all, it does not seem like that should be happnening, but no big deal as it takes 5 seconds out of my day to work around. The bigger problem is that only one computer can be connected to the Internet at a time. If a friend with another laptop comes over and tries to access the Internet at the same time as me, he will get the same Earthlink page popping up. If he enters the password, he will kick off the first computer and on and on and on...
I called Elink support and they, of course, told me it is a TC issue. I called Apple and they, of course, told me it is an ISP issue. I suspect that it has something to do with my TC settings (bridge mode, maybe?), but have no idea what I am doing there.
Anyone have any ideas for me? I have friends coming into town this weekend and we won't be able to share stupid YouTube clips as efficiently with only one computer!

There is nothing you can do.. if you want more than one device connected then you must double NAT. This is common practice with Satellite providers.. I am not sure why they cannot afford to buy a block of public IP.. maybe it is deliberate to prevent people using servers.
Just select ignore in the airport utility.. for the double NAT problem.. this is the equivalent to sticking your head in the ground and therefore your problems don't exist. (your opponents cannot see you if you have a bird brain!!) Of course when the opportunity comes up.. move. Go to fibre or 3g/4g with a reliable ISP who hands out public IP. Until then tighten your belt.. short commons are the order of the day.

I want to connect 2 Mac, or PC and Mac remotely using different internet connections and my main purpose is to see the Desktop screen of one computer from another computer. Like my home computer I want to connect with my Job computer. Actually I have connected WebCam at my Home computer & I want to see the dektop of my home computer from Job computer.

I am trying to replace my old linksys router with Airport Express. I can get it connected and and I can access the internet on my MacBook but when I try to use WiFi on my iPad, I get the message "The Internet connection is currently in use by another computer (172.16.1.11)" from Earthlink, my ISP.
I have a Netopia modem from Earthlink. My MacBookPro is running OSX 10.9.4.
I understand that I need to have the AirPort Express look like the only device attached to the Netopia modern, and then the AirPort Express will handle multiple devices' connections correctly (MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone). I just can't figure out how to set this up.

My email internet accounts does not recognize that I have deleted an gmail account. It wants to connect before it sends a message. How do I change this? I thought I changed all my settings to reflect my new mail address - but I must have missed one.

Yeah, because the email associated with the Apple ID is deleted and the account is having issue.
Stop using the new Apple ID.
Log into the original Apple ID. Change the email address associated with the Apple ID.
It should then be possible to update the apps associated with the original Apple ID.
