As expected, cdm-git also works fine since DMs only work in the root mode as of now.
Just for the record, both type commands output "/usr/bin/startx" and pacman -Q gives "systemd 215-4".

I used to manage 3 websites using both my imac and macbook, using dropbox, however I can no longer access them from my mac book.

I have been managing 3 websites using iWeb for the last several years, using both my iMac and Macbook. However for the last two weeks, I can no longer access these sites from my macbook. It appears "empty". When I first started seeing this, I took it to the Genius Bar in another city and he moved some library contents to my desktop - still didin't help.
I know iWeb is a thing of the past, but I can't stop right now and learn something new for about the next 4 weeks (in a sports team in the middle of a season)
. After that, I will have time to learn a new product.
Also, what is a suggestion for replacing iWeb? Sandvox? Rapid Weaver?

What do you mean when you say you "can no longer access these sites?" Does that mean you can't connect to those sites in your web browser, or that they aren't showing up in iWeb?
If the latter, note that your iWeb data is all entirely stored in a hidden file. In the Finder, choose Go -> Go To Folder and paste the following path into the window that opens:
~/Library/Application Support/iWeb
In that folder, you will find a single file, called Domain. That's got all the data for all your iWeb sites. If that file is missing, or if it has become corrupt, you will need to restore it from an earlier backup.
As for replacing iWeb, either Sandvox or RapidWeaver should work. Which works best will depend on your own tastes. Note that neither is capable of fully importing iWeb sites, as those sites will have a lot of content that is copyrighted by Apple. I installed 7.1.2 update for my iphone5 and I have problems. I can no longer access the internet on my phone. My wifi is fine, and I've noticed that there is no longer any indication of "LTE" on my phone.

Against my better judgement, I installed update 7.1.2 on my iphone5, and can no longer access the intenet. I've dis some searching for a solution, but nothing works. What has this happened? And how can I fix it?

LTE indicates cellular. Tap Settings > Cellular then switch Cellular Data ON.
If your Wi-Fi is working, then you should be able to access the internet.
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.
* No data is lost due to a reset

Im trying to import music from widows media player to itunes, but when i delete the music from media player itunes can no longer locate it, i just want the music saved to itunes so its not taking up double the space.

Deleting photo's that were imported to my iphone from a computer I can no longer access

I have not got my mac that I had used to import a photo album to my iphone. I am now using a different computer, and when I plug phone in to do the usual de-selecting of photo's I wish to change that option is not available. My memory is full and deleting the imported album would free up a large amount of space, how can I do this?

TS3899 After changing my gmail password from my laptop, I can no longer access gmail on my iPhone.

I've entered my new password many times and exchange tells each time that either my account name or password is incorrect. I deleted my account from exchange and re-set it up, no help. I rebooted the phone, no help. Gmail works just fine on my laptop. Please help.

Sounds like you restored your phone as new. If you follow all the steps, there a section that allows you to restore from a backup either through icloud or itunes.
You do have a backup of your phone right? If you don't then all is gone, but you can sync back your apps and music.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only wipe your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.
