This I need to To update a cost account.(which is  only possible with movement type.) if I use a movement type stock get decresing. which my does not needed.
Thanks in Advance
Ram

Hi Lakshmipathi,
Thanks for the reply,
Process is:
If A customer informs that Material A is defevtive or not working,
Wht the we do is, we deliver(order/delivery/billing) material A to the customer and a return order is created for the material for which a return is anticipated from the customer. The customer is informed of the same with a request to return the product in a stipulated time frame.
If the customer returns the product, the return delivery is booked followed by creation of a credit memo in the system. and we come to know that whether the material is under warrenty or not after the PGR (receipt),
if it is under warrenty, Cost must be booked under cost account( no revenue)
( which is only possible through at the time of PGI with a movement type), since Material already delivered to the customer, we cannot create a delivery with material movement.
if there any way to revese the inventory at the time of PGI.(issue and retun shold happen at same so there will not be any impact on stock level)
please let me know is there any other way

  • Create Outbound Delivery without Stocks

    Hello.
    Anybody with AFS experience?
When creating outbound delivery with reference to an STO, the system allows me to allocate the full quantity (60pcs), even if the available stocks is only 40pcs.
How is this possible?  My understanding, we will only be able to create the delivery for the available stocks.
    Help.

    Hi Gemma,
If there are no stock at all, then you will not be able to create delivery agianst STO. If there is partail qty available, then delivery can be created. eg. if stock is 20 kg  and in the STO if the qty is 40 kg, you will still be able to create delivery, but when stock is 0 kg, you will not be able to create delivery..........it will give an error message" An item with no delivery quantity is not permitted. Item will be deleted."
    hope this helps............

  • Delivery without reference for stock transfer within the same plant 311

    Dear all,
I need to create a delivery without reference for stock transfer within the same plant, movement 311,  i.e. just from 1 storage location to another storage location.
I tried to use VL01NO with delivery type UL.
Now my question is how can I assign a receiving plant for a customer?
I can't do the MIGO or MB1B document because I need the delivery document (packing list, forms, Texts,...).
    It's possible this option???
    Thank you very much.

    Hi,
What is the item category you are assigning while doing VL01NO?  Check the schedule line category for that item category assignment.  That Schedule line category has an option for one step GI.  There you can assign 311 or create a separate item category and schedule line category and in that SC assign 311.
    Thanks
    Krish.

  • Delivery created without Stock

    Hi all,
I'm using Function Module SHP_VL10_DELIVERY_CREATE to create a delivery
with reference to Sales Order. Everything is working fine, with one exception:
The delivery is always created, even when the salesOrder is block without stock confirmation.
If i try to do it, with va02, menu SalesDocuemnt->Delivery the system gives the correct error, saying "No schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date
    " wich is correct.
Does anyone knows why the FM doesn't work like the standard?
    Thanks,

  • Delivery without reference.

    Hello friends,
We are writing a small ABAP program to create PO for calling back damaged materials from warehouse back to production plant.
Then, there was a suggestion, as to why a PO is needed.  When we are creating them programmatically, why not create Delivery-without-reference directly instead of creating PO.
I would like to know your views about advantages or dis-advantages of this suggestion in our above scenario.   Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
When you say "warehouse" do you mean another plant or do you mean a WM type warehouse?
If the warehouse is another plant then why not just use a 301 movement to transfer the stock back (or a two step movement if you want a goods issue and a receipt)?
Or do you want to produce an SD type delivery document?

  • Return Delivery without reference

    Hi all,
    i have one specific query.
i have matl in my stock ( customer returns). i know the vendor code but i don't know the reference doc no of GR posted for that purchase order. I want to send this matl back to vendor without any reference.
I can find out this from ME2L but my requirment is that return delivery without reference. i don't want any reference but return delivery should happen.
plz help as it is very urgent.

There are types of Returns here:
1.Vendor returns against original purchase order
2.Vendor returns through returns purchase order.
For your requirement you can use the second option:
1.If the original purchase order reference is not known, then Purchase Department will prepare a u201CReturn Purchase Orderu201D using T. Code ME21N.  Creation of a Return Purchase Order in the system is similar to that of a regular Purchase Order except that the u201CReturns Indicatoru201D has to be ticked for each line item in the PO.
2.Next a goods receipt will have to be done with reference to the Returns PO. Such Goods receipt and Invoice receipt has an exactly reverse effect than that of a Regular PO.  Goods Movement Type 161 (T. Code MIGO) is used which reduces the material stock from the Inventory & creates Material and Accounting document
3.If the material is excisable, then Excise Department will create an outgoing Excise Invoice with reference to material document.
4.Next, Invoice Verification is done for a Return PO which creates a reverse liability in the system and the amount appears as u201Crecoverableu201D from the Vendor.  FI Team will create a Credit Note through MIRO.
5.If the vendor sends back a substitute delivery after we have returned goods, we can reference the return delivery when we post the goods receipt for substitute items.

  • Good receipt in delivery without reference

Hi, we make an intensive use of deliveries without reference to move materials between plants. We have noted that when you use deliveries without reference checks are pretty bad. For example, if you cancel good posting (VL09) only checks if there is enough transfer stock, so if your delivery had been received and there is another delivery without reference in transfer with the same material and the same ship-to party, you can cancel good posting for the delivery.
We also noted that SAP checks everything if you use deliveries for transfer orders.
Do I have to customize something in order to get this checks made for deliveries without reference?
    Thanks in advance.
    Federico

SAP can do many checks, if it has data to check on.
In a delivery with reference, SAP can use this referenced data to perform checks, but in a delivery without reference .......you made the experience yourself --> less  checks.
You can customize your system to not allow deliveries without reference, then you enable SAP to do more checks. But I guess you dont want this way.
    Why dont you create STOs?
With proper data for planning, MRP can create requisitions for stock transfers automatically, the requisitions can be converted automatically to a PO using ME59N (which can be scheduled for periodic runs)   So a user has not to do much for this process, and you can always create your deliveries in reference to a STO.

  • Create transfer order without stock

    Hi,
I have a requirement were I need to create transfer orders without stock, can we create this using the user exits (MWMTO005, MWMTO001, MWMTO002). is there anyother way of creating TO without stock by turning off ATP?
we need this for cross docking, we need a outbound TO so the inbound can be cross docked.

As I understood ur requirement u need vertual stock to make the delivery (GI) before reciving the good (GR).
Step 1. create one Stoarge Bin in 999 storage type, called as verstoack(vertual stock) As this storage are used for stock adjustment.
Step 2 Create TO from storage type 999-verstock to the in you want.
By this step -ve stock will develop in 999.
Step 3 when u do the GR, transfer this stock to 999-verstock from the recieved stoarge bins.
This is to nulify vertual; stock after receive.
This can be done on weekly basis.
Note: PGI for delivery will be done after GR only.
Please let me know if this issue is not resolved

  • Cannot Create Delivery without RLT

    Dear All
I do not want to create Delivery unless inventory is available. So I have controlled it through Checking rule B, doing it without RLT. But Cheking rule A in Sales Order is with RLT so that I can confirm Customers Order.
    I have a strange Scenario.
My Stock is 60. Sales oreder created for Today is 5 qty, so Confirmed Schedule line.
Sales order with Schedule line date 31.12.2008 is 200 qty. So this is confirmed after end Lead time.
But When I create Delivery it does not let me beacsue 60 stock available is now  booked for Sales order 31.12.2008.
I know the reason that in Delivery creation RLT is not taken into consideration.
But How this situation should be handled. If I do delievry ATP check with RLT then there are chances that Delivery may be created without stock.
    Experts opinions are invited.

    Neeraj Srivastava

    Hi christine,
You can create delivery with quantity 0. But you need to customize at the delivery item category level. Once you complete this customizing system will allow you to create delivery with qty 0.
If you would like to have the do the PGI, when the stock is available, then you need to configure Availabilty check at shipping level. Once you run the availabiltiy check in VL02N transaction, based on the ATP calculation, system will confirm the qty.

  • Delivery without inventory

    Hi Gurus,
Can anyboidy please let me know what do i need to check and where do i check to make sure that the system does not allow us to even create a delivery when there is no inventory. The delivery that i'm referring is whether against a STO when one plant is supplying stock to another plant or when we create deliveries against sales orders
    Thanks

    Hi Anusha,
For no Delivery when there is no Inventory, it is a two step configuration.
    A.  When a delivery is created, the system normally performs an availability check.  In most businesses, availability checks for deliveries are set up so as not to confirm when inadequate inventory is available.  To perform this configuration, set up your availability check.  There are a number of generic steps to configure ATP (Available To Promise), I will assume that you have performed these already, and your ATP is already working for Sales orders.  For Deliveries, use txn OVZ9.  Find the Availability Checking group(s) for your material (you can look this up in the Material Master(s) of the parts in question).  Scan down until you find checking rule 'B' which is the rule for deliveries (including STO deliveries).  Select and look for details.  Normally, you will select 'check without replenishment lead time'.  You may optionally want to include safety stock, quality inspection stock, or restricted use stock, depending on your company's policies.  For requirements, check 'include deliveries'. Checking other requirements types (such as sales requmnts) may prevent you from creating ANY deliveries, probably best to go with just deliveries.   Do not include future receipts (such as purchase orders, production orders, etc), checking these may allow you to create a delivery when there is no stock in place..
    B. Now you have configured your deliveries so that they will not confirm any quantities when the ATP is done when there is no stock. Once the ATP check has yielded a quantity of zero, you also say you want no delivery to be created.  Configure this in OVLP.  For each item category you will be using, ensure that you select under 'check quantity 0" select 'B Situation rejected with an error message",  Also ensure that  'Availckoff' is unchecked.  This configuration will yield an error message whenever an attempt is made to create a delivery with zero confirmed, and will not allow the document to be created or changed.

  • Delivery without any reference document

    Hi,
Would like to know how this scenario can be handled in SAP:
customer picks up the stock in warehouse (without picking, packing, outbound delivery) and direct invoicing is done. Can we map this process in SAP ,where we can by pass picking, packing.

    Hi,
you can do delivery without any reference document.
    1) T.Code - VLO2NO
Create delivery without reference and do PGI
    2) VF01 -Invoice against delivery
    Or
you want to create billing with external document, follow this links

  • Goods Receive for Outbound Delivery Without Reference using MIGO

    Dear Colleague ...
We might need your insight on the case below related to Goods Receive of Outbound Delivery without Reference using MIGO:
    (1) In the current SAP Enjoy screen of MIGO, we are allowed to select the reference document (e.g. = PO, Material Document, Inbound Document, Outbound Document, etc.)
    (2) We did 3 (three) kind of test set: GR for Inbound Delivery, GR for Outbound Delivery with STO and GR for Outbound Delivery without reference.
    (3) The first 2 (two) cases work just find with MIGO.  We believe it is because the receiving plant is pretty much determined in the reference document, which is PO (case 1) or STO (case 3)
    (4) However, the last case came up with the error message "Goods receipt not possible for delivery 8000610236: error code 5".  We believe that this is the standard design of SAP, that the receiving plant is required and it is not defined explicitly in the delivery document.
    (5) Moreover, we also believe that that's the reason why SAP (via the Logistic Execution module) provide the Handling Unit and Shipment, which can be used to perform such receive function, which will imply the MM posting (goods issue and goods receive) IF there is stock transfer involved.
Appreciate for any thoughts or input on the above.  Many thanks,
    Alvon Sibarani

use transaction mb0a it will work for the scenario.

  • If my iPod Touch 5 battery is failing, can I pay Apple to send me a refurbished one before I send them the one with a failing battery? I don't want to go without my ITouch.

If my iPod Touch 5 battery is failing, can I pay Apple to send me a refurbished one before I send them the one with a failing battery? I don't want to go without my ITouch.  I really don't want to go without it but I dont want to have to purchase a new one.  The battery life is abysmal, and I am reluctant to upgrade my ios system to ios8 because all I ever see are complaints about upgrades killing the battery.  I am still on ios6.  When I upgraded my macbook pro (which is now DEAD) the battery got worse.
I am just sick of it.  I called apple about my itouch battery and the help was terrible.  All they were telling me to do was do a restart and UPGRADE TO THE LATEST IOS TO SEE IF THAT SOLVES THE BATTERY PROBLEM.  They would not even tell me what to do if that would not work.  Very rude.I kept asking and I finally had to find out myself through my own research that they cant replace the battery; instead they send you a refurbished ipod.  They never told me that on the phone and they kept giving me the run around when I kept asking them what I should do if the IOS upgrade did not work or made the battery worse.  Hopefully someone can answer my initial question.  Thanks guys.  I have a charger that I sometimes use plugged in to the ipod ( not all the time, I know that is bad for the battery)  and I thought my battery life should be better than it is because I sometimes use it on the charger  ( it should save the battery).

Not that I know of. You can do the exchange at an Apple store if they have refurbished ones in stock

  • Creation of Inbound delivery without Order acknowledgment

    Hi,
We have a scenario where we raise Purchase order to Vendor. The Vendor sent the confirmation (Delivery date, qty, etc) via IDOC. This updates the Order acknowledgement and also the confirmation information in PO.
When the Vendo creates a Outbound delivery in this system, it sends another IDOC which creates a Inbound delivery automatically in my system.
In some cases the confirmation IDoc fails. We want that in such case the Inbound delivery should be created unless we get the correct confirmation.
In other words, system should not create Inbound delivery if order acknowledgement fails.
Is this possible in standard SAP

    Hi,
What is the reason for not generating inbound delivery without a confirmation? Wouldn't the business on receiving plant be interested in getting inbound delivery asap, so that they can plan their operations based on the incoming goods details?
I don't think you can control that simply from confirmation control key. There is the 'expected sequence' but it does not stop the process if you proceed without confirmation.
Note that there are lots of other complications if there was such a requirement. What if first item is fully confirmed, but another is not. Would you like to create inbound delivery only for the confirmed item?
And what for Scheduling Agreements? The confirmations/inbound deliveries are at item level only (and not at delivery schedule line). So you don't fully control what quantities were confirmed and which are still 'open' for confirmation.
If you want to apply such a logic, then most probably custom solution at inb. delivery creation would be required.

  • Inbound delivery without reference

    Hi all,,
we have a scenario, where we need to transfer goods from IM storage location to EWM location. For EWM we need to have inbound delivery to get processed. is there any way we can create an inbound delivery without reference or with refrence to stock transfer.
    Thanks all

Check the configuration to crete delivery
SPRO>Logistics - General>Handling Unit Management>Basics>Materials Management>Inventory Management>HU Requirement for Storage Locations and Default Values for Deliveries
Activate storage location then it will create the delivery
