Want to design lights for Christmas

I want to take a pic of my house and design my light display. I see a ton of FREE applications to do this for Windows, but can't even find a paid software program for Mac. Does anyone have any ideas??

Help me find the right digital camera for my wife for Christmas!

Hi guys,
I have been scouring Best Buy for days trying to figure out which digital camera to go with. My wife wants a new one for Christmas, but she doesn't want a traditional point and shoot setup, nor a full DSLR (simply becuase I can't afford it!). Plus, my budget is $200-$300.
I've been looking at a factory refurbished Olympus SP-800UZ model for $230 in the outlet center, but I'm not sure if it's a good camera or not.
So, any ideas of which camera to get her?
She wants something with over 12 MP, something with a nice zoom, and something that has the look and feel of a DSLR.
Any suggestions in my price range? Thanks!

As to the specific camera you mentioned - yes, it's excellent. Note the Lens Focal Length(s), 35mm equivalent 28-840mm and the 30x optical zoom. Impressive for the price range. You could stop here and be satisfied, assuming you added a memory card since it only has 2mb of internal memory. (don't worry, they are cheap, this one takes SD only).
Still, I would consider what I said above, take a quick look before going the 'Refurbished' route.

I'm searching a quick time ac3 codec, too.
But I can't find it...!!
I tryed the one found at the link http://www.insaneness.com/ac3.html, but it doesn't work.
I'd like to know if a working ac3 codec exists (I use QT v. 7.02), if so where can I find it. If it doesn't exist when can it be avilable for mac user.

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

I really don't have an answer for that one. I guess that while trying to get things working correctly, I would use the most basic monitor I had which in your case would be the Eizon using the Thunderbolt port and adaptor.
When you boot into Safe Mode the startup is quite slow, but you should get the Apple logo and then the spinning gear below it (release the SHIFT key when it appears.) Then after a little more time you should see a gray progress bar appear below the spinning gear. When that disappears the computer will startup to a login screen.

The iTunes gift cards are only usable for downloads from the iTunes Store. You cannot use them to buy Apple TVs or Macs.

Co-authors can edit the form design, options, responses, and summary report (everything that you can do).
Note:- They do not require a paid subscription to view the responses, free subscription users can become co-authors.

Very new to this and just looking for some basic information or a link to specifics. Most of what I'm searching for brings up content for publishing and I'm really looking for information about reselling items in a product line. For example Greeting Cards, Signs etc... As for fonts, you don't need to do anything as long as you don't try to sell the actual font files. In print or the screen your fine to do as you want. Most fonts include a license EULA for you to read when installing them anyway.
As for images, that may be a different story, it will depend on the image. If there is a file that accompanies the image that states you can do as you please, that fine, but other wise, assume the image is copyrighted and require permission to use.
Some programs provide clipart that is for public use this clicpart can be printed and sold. But as with the fonts, you can not sell the clipart files themselves.
In the EULA that accompanies the software, it should state what can be done with any clipart or fonts that are included with the software.
If you are still in doubt, contact the company and verify it.

Yes, they can play games - there are hundreds if not thousands of games available in the iTunes Store. Beware of the "free" games; many are free for the base game but charge for things like additional levels, "coins" etc. and those paid add-ons can add up quickly, to dozens or even in some cases hundreds of dollars. I'd strongly suggest you set up restrictions on the iPad to prevent your children from making unauthorized purchases. See:

You will need an Internet provider of some sort; Apple is not a provider and so the iPad does not include a data service. You can either use a home Internet connection with a WiFi access point (aka "router") or you can get an iPad with WiFi+Cellular and sign up for a data plan with a cell carrier. WiFi through a home Internet service will probably be cheaper.
