Which Creative Suite 6 trial did you download? Also are you referring to Mac
OS 10.7.2?

Why can't I download Cs6 Extended?

I have the subscription to CS6 extended. I started a couple months ago then my computer get a virus and it prevented me from using photoshop. I recently repaired my computer but now for some reason I seem to have regular CS6. I am not able to use the 3D extrusions and I believe that is part of the extended version. I tried to download CS6 extended but I keep getting the same thing when I download it. Is there something I should do to download the extended version?

Your graphics card/ driver are not up to speed. 3D requires proper hardware support. Update your drivers.

I have downloaded CS6 extended trial numerous times on different days to see if I get a different result, but each time it's the same. Once I install it, it turns out to be just the regular CS6. Why can't I get the CS6 extended trial?

Yes.
I deleted the software again one more time and made sure my adobe folder was empty in the C drive.
I downloaded the CS6 extended brand new again, one more time, and this time it took.
I don't know what was happening, but, my luck is that everything goes wrong, and then, just to put me in my place, after I ask for help, it goes right, so, thanks a lot. Unable to isolate the reason why I did not get it the first time, but I'll experiment some more and see.

I can't download CS6 Extended

I am taking a class on Photoshop. The required program that I have to use is Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended. I purchased the program from my campus book store. I got home logged on an verified my college information. I got the email telling me how to get the serial number for the program. I followed the steps to get the serial number and then there was nothing else. No link to download nothing. All the screen said was Your Ready To Go. Now I have a serial number and no program to use it with. I spoke with customer service and they gave me the link for the Photoshop CC. I was told to download CC and then enter my serial number and that would take care of it. After waiting for and hour and half for it to download it didn't work. I need help.

Photoshop CS6 Extended NAG bug

Why is my PAID for and LICENCED version of PS CS6 STILL throwing up that blasted PS Extended trial screen? I have read about this before, and I thought that it had been fixed. I OWN my PS CS6, I PAID for it. I have NEVER wanted or downloaded the Extended vesion. Why am I getting pestered about this? I DON'T WANT IT. I have re-registered my LEGAL copy of CS6 numerous times now. My version is up to day..Ver 13.0.1, I am sick of this now. Downloading CS6 for a new PC

Attempted to download CS6 Extended for installation on a new PC on which CS5 is currently installed. 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 files are selected for download. The download actually ends up with 3 files: 1) a PS 13 LS16 7z, 2) a PS 13 LS16 7z.part, and 3) a PS 13 LS16.exe. The exe file won't work. Error window only says "a problem occurred while extracting the archive. Try again." No luck after trying again 4 times. Each time I deleted the downloaded files, downloaded them again and tried the .exe. Any ideas?

kglad -- many thanks for your input. I tried the process again but waited a while before executing the files. Voila - I now have CS6 on my new PC -- thanks to your explanation.
