Want to edit background vocals and place them in other positions in song.

I want to cut up my background wave files and put them in other places of my song to make the vocals thicker. I've done this in DP but never in L7. What is the best way to do this and what issues should I look out for?

There's nothing to it, really.
I find it easier when doing that to cut the beginnings and ends of the audio regions so that, say, you have 5 BGV tracks, they all start and end together. This helps create a "BLOCK", so visually, you can see where things are at a moments notice.
As far as dragging them... select the BGV's, and while holding down the option key, drag them to the next chorus, or wherever they're going to go. Holding the option key creates a copy of the tracks.
I find it easiest to leave the snap settings set to "smart". This will allow you to drag regions to "logical" beat locations. You'll also see a yellow parameter box pop up when you first select the audio regions. Pay attention to the location number. If the number you see is something like 24 3 1 64, and your first chorus starts at bar 25, you can then easily drag the audio regions to the next chorus. If the 2nd chorus starts at bar 45, then set the copied audio regions at 44 3 1 64. They'll play perfectly where you wanted them.

If you only copied the photos as thumbnails (and it seems you did), you can't do this by enabling disk use and dragging the photos from iPod to computer so you'll need a program such as this one.

You will want to open iPhoto, go to the iPhoto menu and select Preferences. Under the General tab, next to Connecting camera opens: select iPhoto. Close the preferences and quit iPhoto. Reconnect your iPhone 4. iPhoto should open automatically and offer to import your pictures. Import them and then do what you want with them.

If your proxy solution cannot be configured to support IOS maybe you should be looking at another vendor. Whose Apple ID are you using? It sounds like whoever co-opted the account may have changed the security questions as well.

In Photoshop I have a problem to overcome and have delved into the world of scripting..
If there is a quick way to produce the following could someone help me with some pointers?
Here is my situation..
I need to produce a photograph proof card, these are for a double image option so cause me a headache compared to just creating an action..
This proof card really is just a set of two different photographs placed onto a background image.
I would produce two different images of the same person and name them exactly the same except they are suffixed with an A or B to keep them together, these would be in a folder with approx 500 other images for example (250 x two of each person)
My preference for the process would be done in the following sequence:
1/ Open the background file jpg (which is sized at 2400 x 1800 pixels @ 300dpi)
2/ Load the first image from the batch file and place this.
3/ Get the filename of the first image and create it as a text layer and write it below the image at 10 point text size.
4/ Create another copy of this layer and change the font to 3of9barcode font, however the font needs an asterisk before the text then again after it. e.g. *filenameA*
Only the first image has the need for a barcode as they are for the same person. This is at 18 point.
5/ Load the next sequential image from the batch file and place this.
6/ Get the filename for the second image and as Item 3/ create a text layer below at 10 point text size.
7/ Place a png overlay with my copyright information over the images (I need to do this twice, once for each image)
8/ Flatten the images and save the file in a new folder with the same filename as the first image.
I can do this in Lightroom with the exception of putting the barcoded text, and the filenaming, this is because the background image is used as the identity plate and the filename is not based on the data from either photograph..
Can anyone shed some light on where to go from here?

Photoshop Scripting-wise this seems fairly "easy".
But I would recommend creating a template file (that already combines background image, png overlay and the Type Layers).
Maybe data driven graphics would also be an option …

If I manually save the bookmarks, and place them on a different computer, are my login passwords for those bookmarks also going to be transfered?

I want to give some very important bookmarks to a colleague of mine, but for most of them I have passwords saved in Firefox 34.0 (Linux 14.0.4 LTS).
I am worried that giving her the bookmarks that I have downloaded on my PC from the Import/Export Bookmarks option, will also give her the login passwords for them.
Is this going to happen or it's ok to send her the needed bookmarks? I do not have another PC on which I can test that at the moment.

You will have to convert the DVD video to QuickTime using either Apple DV or Apple Intermediate Codec.
Most people in this forum seem to use MPEG Streamclip to do this. I have used it a lot it and it works great.
Note that in addition to MPEG Streamclip (which is free), you will need the QuickTime MPEG2 Playback Component if you do not already have it on your Mac. It is available from the Apple Online Store for $19. This needs to be on your Mac in order for MPEG Streamclip to be able to convert the MPEG2 video that is on your DVDs.
If it were me, and the video is standard 4:3 aspect ratio, I would probably convert it to QuickTime/DV; if widescreen 16:9 then I would probably convert it to QuickTime/Apple Intermediate Codec instead.
After converting the video, select an appropriate FCE Easy Setup to match how you converted the video in MPEG Streamclip. Then import the converted file(s) and edit them into a new sequence.

How to edit background colour of Revolution theme

Would like to change the background colour of this theme. At moment it seems to offer only a dark one. In Inspector, images can be inserted under the background tab but no alternaives available for changing the colour of the area where the title appears. Any thoughts?
