Want to find a fitness GPS app that will allow you to receive and send messages and calls while running the app

I love my blackberry 8900 and have found some cool fitness gps apps that track my distance, etc. The problem I have is I can't figure out how to access incoming messages or how to send a text message while keeping the app active. There are pause buttons on the ones I've used, but if I try to get out of the app screen it will log me off the workout completely. Now granted, I don't do a lot of texting during my workouts (cycling) but still - would be nice to be able to pause it and maybe send something liek "home in a few mins " then continue on with the same workout.

I figured it out - I programmed my left side button to go straight to my IM program. I can send and receive messages and go back to my workout without stopping it

Sorry, but no one who would know can discuss unreleased software such as iOS 5 in these forums. We'll have to wait, probably for the official release, before such details will be known.

Will there be an update in Pages for ipad that will allow for sub scripts and superscripts

I am a chemistry professor who loves to work on the ipad. The problem I have is that the mathematics I use and chemical equations is use in my writings need both super scripts and subscripts. I would love to use my ipad for this, but presently, the only way I can do this is with a third party app that allows me to create the formulas and the paste them in the document I am working on. Will there be an update to Pages for ipad that will allow subscripts and super scripts. I would love to move away from my Office 2010, but the support is not there yet.

How can I get a version that will allow me to download and install "Less Spam Please

I try to download and install "less spam please", but it sends a message saying not compatible with Firefox version 15.0.1. my system is the a HTC One Android. Is it possible to get a different version of Firefox, one that would be compatible with my HTC android?

Normally this would be done in Acrobat using the various form tools, or LiveCycle Designer which comes with Acrobat Pro. But there are some open source programs that will let you create interactive form fields, such as Scribus or Open Office (Writer). Note that you will not be able to save the resulting filled-in form with Adobe Reader since it won't be Reader-enabled, which is normally done with Acrobat. Some non-Adobe PDF viewers are able to save filled-in forms.

I am a fitness director and looking for an app that will allow me to sale and track group fitness classes. What app do you think would be best for this?

I want to sale classes individually and in packages. I'll need to track when purchases are made and then when credits have been redeemed (if they purchased a package of classes). I suspect I'd need an app in the bussiness category, but there are so many and some with a few qualities I'm looking for, but missing a key component. I can't be the only one looking for a solution like this. Right?!

The app that I need is one that firstly build and set of question into a form, then allow other staff member to fill in the answers and then generate a report back to a centre database for review.
Also within this app if it is able to GPS locate where the form has been filled out and if possible a time tracker for wages. All of these need to be then place in a report and sent back to a person or manager.
The company I work for is looking to use this to replace some very old tech.
So when need it to be able to hold multiple different forms to fill in, track two different pay rates and log a GPS location on the forms.

I recommend that instead of working on an iPad application you get a good web programmer in and set up a web-facing system that can be used from anything with a web browser -- an iPad, a smartphone, a laptop or a desktop. Then your employees can access the system from any computer with a web browser, and you don't need to employ an expensive specialist programmer to produce a system which is useless for devices made by other manufacturers. The only requirement for use will be that your devices must in range of either WiFi or a phone signal.
It will also mean that if you need to change your software at any time you only have to change one copy, back at headquarters, rather than update an App on every individual iPad.
Apple's web browsers (including the ones built into iDevices) allow a web site to request the user's location, so people using an iPad should be able to do the things you have asked for.

To read and print pdf's and if the creator of the pdf allows it, to fill in forms. If you want more, Acrobat would be the program you are looking for.

The better ones are the ones that connect via the cassette deck. I don't have one in my car so I use the iTrip.
I've noticed more interference with mine using the default radio station so I need to find another one. However, I have the first iTrip which is more of a PITA to retune it.)

Did you lose a bunch of add-ons? That could happen if you used Firefox's Refresh feature. This could occur when Firefox reports that it is running slowly and you can speed it up by restoring default settings. And then an Old Firefox Data folder appears on your desktop. Do you see anything like that?
It's not very straightforward researching old add-ons in the Old Firefox Data folder, but it's possible.
Before diving into that, if relevant, I notice you have numerous RealDownloader plugins. Can you check whether they are fully enabled? You can do that on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. For RealDownloader plugins that seem relevant to Firefox, change their permission to "Always Activate" if they are set to "Ask to Activate". For those that do NOT seem relevant to Firefox (Chrome and PepperFlash), I would set those to "Never Activate".
These kinds of changes often do not take effect in the same window. Try opening a new window (Ctrl+n) and visiting a site where RealDownloader is supposed to activate to see whether it does.

Use Type > Fill with Placeholder Text to generate lots of text. Select some text, then use Window > Info to display the number of selected words. Expand or contract the selection by holding Shift, or Shift+Cmd/Ctrl, and pressing arrow keys. When you have the number of words you want, copy, press Escape, click an empty spot on a page, then paste; the copied text appears in is own text frame. Select the frame and use Object > Fitting > Fit Frame to Content contain all the text within the frame.
Search Google for terms like "InDesign placeholder text" without quotes for info on changing the actual placeholder text, and also info on a text generator.
