Want to find assets folder in BC.

I want to add a pdf file and then link it to a sentence. For that I have to find asset folder in muse.

Hi,
Kindly select the text or text frame that you want to add the hyperlink to, click on the Hyperlinks drop-down from the toolbar, and select "Link To File".
Then, browse to the pdf file on your machine, and click on Open; this will automatically add the pdf to the assets. You may check the assets panel in Muse for the same.
Hope it helps,
Sonam

    Where is the bookmarks stored?
    I Install the Firefox once again since I upgrade my computer.
    And I try to move the bookmarks from the old computer to the new one.
    But I can't find anyone of them.
    Is there any folder just like "favourite" to store the html file?
    I really want to find out the bookmarks because actually i can't remember all the website that are important to me~ URGENT!!!~THANKS~

    You can move file named places.sqlite from your old profile to the new one. It contains bookmarks and browsing history.
    Here's a knowledge base article about it: [[Recovering important data from an old profile]]
    If you don't care about saving your current bookmarks, you can skip creating new profile (Firefox does it by itself at first run anyway).
    I'd might suggest you to install addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410/|Xmarks Bookmark and Password Sync]. It is a free web service which synchronizes bookmarks and (optionally) passwords with central server, and then to other computers, if you installed it on more. You may treat is as a backup too.

    I want to copy my iPhoto library to an external drive but I cannot find the folder on my Mac Air. When I open Finder there is no Picture folder showing so I cannot find the iPhoto library.

    Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu and provide ~/Pictures/ as the path. If that doesn't work, control-click a photo in iPhoto, show it in the Finder, and Command-click the folder's name in the window's title bar to find the path.

    Hi - I am trying to set my screen saver. I want to use a folder in iPhoto. How ? Beats me.

    On the right-hand side of the screensaver dialog box there is a SOURCE option.  Click on that and choose the CHOOSE FOLDER option.  You can then navigate to your iPhoto folder.

  • Path to Photoshop Plugins/Panels Assets Folder

    I am one of those who is scrambling to recreate a panel that was made in Configurator to HTML5 so please bear with me.
    For a javascript I am trying to find the path to a file in the "assets" folder within my panel for both Mac & Windows. I want the path to open a specific file. Here is the base code:
    function selLss1(){var idOpn = charIDToTypeID( "Opn " );
        var desc176 = new ActionDescriptor();
        var idnull = charIDToTypeID( "null" );
        desc176.putPath( idnull, new File( "/assets/file.psd" ) );
    executeAction( idOpn, desc176, DialogModes.NO );
    "/assets/file.psd" is the file and I need to know how to tell Photoshop how to find and open this file in Mac's and Windows.
    Thanks in Advance - Sam

    Perfect Tom - works like a charm.
    One last question and I hope not to bother you anymore.
    This is going back to the last script you helped me with in opening a file from the extension panels folder (everything is working perfectly). I want to add one last item to the script that automatically closes the file from the extension folder without saving. These are template files that I do not want the user changing.
    The steps of the script are:
    1. Open the file from the extensions folder
    2. Duplicate the layer to another open file
    3. Close the file - This is where I want the file closed without saving in case the user duplicates the layer in to the same file that came from the extension folder.
    I have this code, but do not know how or where to put it:
    app.activeDocument.close(SaveOptions.DONOTSAVECHANGES);
    /* LSS 1  */
    // Open File
    function selLssall(inPanelLocation)
      var idOpn = charIDToTypeID( "Opn " );
        var desc176 = new ActionDescriptor();
        var idnull = charIDToTypeID( "null" );
        desc176.putPath( idnull, new File( inPanelLocation + "/lss/lss-1.psd" ) );
      executeAction( idOpn, desc176, DialogModes.NO );
    // Duplicate Layer and select the file to insert the layer into
        ErrStrs = {};
    ErrStrs.USER_CANCELLED=localize("$$$/ScriptingSupport/Error/UserCancelled=User cancelled the operation");
    try {var idDplc = charIDToTypeID( 'Dplc' );
        var desc1020 = new ActionDescriptor();
        var idnull = charIDToTypeID( 'null' );
        var ref834 = new ActionReference();
        var idLyrsp = charIDToTypeID( 'Lyr ' );
        var idOrdn = charIDToTypeID( 'Ordn' );
        var idTrgt = charIDToTypeID( 'Trgt' );
        ref834.putEnumerated( idLyrsp, idOrdn, idTrgt );
        desc1020.putReference( idnull, ref834 );
        executeAction( idDplc, desc1020, DialogModes.ALL );
        } catch(e){if (e.toString().indexOf(ErrStrs.USER_CANCELLED)!=-1) {;
                } else{alert(localize("$$$/ScriptingSupport/Error/CommandNotAvailable=The command is currently not available"));}}
    // Close File - this is where I want the file close with out saving it
        ErrStrs = {};
    ErrStrs.USER_CANCELLED=localize("$$$/ScriptingSupport/Error/UserCancelled=User cancelled the operation");
    try {var idClssp = charIDToTypeID( 'Cls ' );
        executeAction( idClssp, undefined, DialogModes.ALL );
        } catch(e){if (e.toString().indexOf(ErrStrs.USER_CANCELLED)!=-1) {;
                } else{alert(localize("$$$/ScriptingSupport/Error/CommandNotAvailable=The command is currently not available"));}}
    One again thanks - Sam

  • Why are some images being exported to Assets folder?

    On my desktop I have the structure of an Assets folder and within that a Images folder.  When I export to HTML it puts a few of the images in the Assets folder.  They are ones that are hyperlinked from a smaller image so that when they click on the smaller image the larger jpg opens in a new window.  I have security on the Assets folder on the server so I don't want these to go in there.  I am having to manually move them into the Images folder and then update the links in the HTML files.  Is there a way to make them go into the Images folder like all the rest of the images are automatically doing when I export?  By the way I don't want them to be a Lightbox slideshow.  They are large images so I want them in a window so the person viewing them can move around in the browser to view the image if they have a smaller monitor.

    Using Acrobat DC and the acrobat arrow tool. By right clicking on an image a submenu pops up. One of the items in that list is "Edit Image".  Ordinarily or historically this would then open the image in Photoshop as a temp file. Edits could be made and saved and the image would be auto updated back into the PDF.  In DC when selecting edit image, the document goes into a edit mode and the entire file gets converted into RGB color.  From here one could again right click on the same image and get the option to edit using another program, (like photoshop).  When returning back to document mode, the RGB conversion remains.
    I determine the files are converted to RGB by using the inspector tool in Acrobat as well as looking at the colorspace in Photoshop
    I determined the files were CMYK by building them that way and again verifying using Pitstop inspector.
    Following screen grabs show image before / and after selecting "Edit Image"

  • Can't find Playlists folder to help me stream with Subsonic.

    HI there.
    I’m runnun iTunes 11 on OS 10.8.4.
    I’ve used iTunes constantly for many years and do tons of library organization, have made hundreds of playlists, have a massive library with relatively few problems (in recent years at least) and use home sharing to stream to Apple TV, controlled with iPhone and iPad.
    I want to use Subsonic for long distance streaming, and setting it up to find the music files was no problem, they are on an external drive, the the rest should be on my main drive.   But I’ll be dang - diddley - anged if i can find the folder containing my playlists.
    Subsonic’s default suggested path is /Users/Shared/Playlists.   (Shouldn’t it say iTunes in there somewhere?)  My Users/Shared folder has folders for other app’s like Adobe, but nothing for iTunes or Playlists.
    Under my own Username there is Music, and iTunes within that, but here’s where it gets weird and messy. The only folder with a promising name within, iTunes Playlists, contains only about a dozen xml files of specific playlists I exported to use with a label maker, and co-responding folder called Playlist Acoustica Labels, with a handful of similarly named files.
    Searching in Finder, the only folders with Playlists in the name are within the location: Username/Music/beaTunes/   Besides a few that were obviously custom named by me within BeaTunes,  there is one called iTunes Library (biglong#insidebrackets), and another simply called Playlists.   This final folder has a copy of what looks something like my libraries playlists, but from 2 years ago, when I last even tried to really use BeaTunes; the playlist .m3u8 files are all dated as last modified in 2011, with folders and playlists I’ve since deleted, and nothing new created since then.  (The only files that are updated for this morning are de-highlted .DS_Store files, whatever the heck those are.)
    By the way, the reason I stopped trying to use BeaTunes was it never worked for me, not once.  After taking like, seriously, hours to load my library, I had it generate a custom list based on a sample track, and it produced other tracks from the same album.  That was $40 or however much well spent.  Anyone with a  huge library ever have any luck with it?  What a waste.
    Anyway, those are seriously the only folders I can find anywhere called Playlists.   I’ve been surfing Apple Support Pages and various forums for answers, and nothing is clearing anything up.  (Of course there is the red herring hits from people referring to the Playlist Folders *inside iTunes you create to group actual playlists,*  but nothing else than similar dead ends regarding system folders with playlist files.
    Some of the typically mystifying Apple genius/whatever pages seem to be directing me towards a file within iTunes Media called iTunes Music Library.xml (and with Backup in the name just before .xml, and some other variations of old versions of the same.   The doc’s and some posters seem to indicate that these contain all the iTunes metadata.  I tried directing Subsonic to this file, and to the folder containing it, but nothing ever changes; Subsonic’s Home Screen always shows all my artists, but nothing under Playlists.
    I saw something about another file called iTunes Libary.itl as a companion to .xml, and I tried that one too nothing.  The iTunes Media > iTunes file I’ve found much of this in DID, by the way, have what looked like all of the apps that I’ve bought, probably all my iPhone Voice Notes, and a group of E-music mp3’s I downloaded when my external drive hook up was not working, redirecting my library to the Main HD before I switched it back and copied all those files to the correct music location..  So the evidence say this iTunes location is running the  media on the external drive, and can’t find anything for iTunes on the external except for the music files.
    I’m just stumped.  I wish there was a way to right click a playlist name, like you can a song in iTunes, and select “Show file in Finder.”  But I tried it, right clicking does nothing.  So I’m out of ideas.
    Oh yeah, I also have an app running that makes invisible files visible.  That didn’t help either.  Man I’m just out of ideas here.  Something so simple, but then I’ve seen Mac complicate simple things before with no warning or disregard, so I’m hoping someone knows something to help me find where these things live.  This thing has devoured my Sunday morning.
    Any and all help and assistance is greatly appreciated.  Thanks all.
    Best,
    Brian

    Dear Brian:
    Create a Play List in iTunes.
    Control-Click and open "Export" in the highlighted Playlist in iTunes.
    With "Export" opened:
    1. Click on "Format" and choose "M3U";
    2. In "Save As" name your "WhatEverNamePlaylist.m3u"; and
    3. In "Where" tell the program where to send your "WhatEverNamePlaylist.m3u".
    You are done creating the Playlist.m3u in iTunes.
    Open "Subsonic Web Page".
    Left hand column open "Import playlist".
    In "Import playlist" click "Choose File" and open the "WhatEverNamePlaylist.m3u"; you created in iTunes.
    The "WhatEverNamePlaylist.m3u" should now occupy the space between "Choose File" and "OK".
    Click "OK".
    The file should now be in the "Playlist" on the left.

  • IPod Updater can't find bundle folder Binary-5

    I seem to be having trouble even restoring my factory settings on my 60g ipod. I of course have been having the sync problem as well, NOTHING has transferred and now, when I run the updater I log the following message in the console, "iPod Updater can't find bundle folder Binary-5" I have no idea what this means. Also, when running disk utility I get the following: "Checking HFS Plus volume.
    Invalid B-tree node size
    Invalid B-tree node size
    The volume needs to be repaired.
    Volume check failed.
    Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit (-9972)
    1 volume checked
         0 HFS volumes verified
         1 volume failed verification"
    Suffice it to say my ipod no longer appears in Itunes 5.0.1 nor on my desktop but I can see it in System Profiler and (greyed out) in Disk Utility. Also I'm unable to run Software Update by the normal means, I have to do so with a "sudo" command in terminal in order to install anything. Is this a possible permissions issue as well? Does anyone have any ideas that can point me in the right direction for correction?
    Thanks

    Ok! Simple.
    Plug in your iPod to your new computer.
    Go to Files and click "Transfer purchases from iPod"
    Now, this is the simplest way to put your purchased music on another computer.
    You will be asked to authorize the new computer to have the iPod's content.
    Authorize it. You have a total of five computers that you can authorize.
    However, if not all your music has been purchased from an iTunes store, like CD's, you can download (among many other programs of this kind) iPodRip. Once you have downloaded it, plug in your iPod and within one minute, it will transfer all the iPod's content, music as well as videos and playlists..., back to the computer.
    To put everything back to iTunes, click on the Recover Songs icon. A box will appear asking you if you want to load everything back to iTunes and/or Hard Drive. Check both options (or at least iTunes).
    Wait for a while, the time for your music to load back, and voilà! Your iTunes will be just like the one you had.
    Try that and tell me if it helped!

  • Your photo library was not found. Do you want to find your iPhoto Library?

    Your photo library was not found. Do you want to find your iPhoto Library?
    Do you want to create or find?
    This is the message I get when I try to open iphoto.
    1. this is the first time since I've used iphoto that this has happened.
    2. I would like to know why.
    3. I am not sure which choice to make.
    4. recent changes involving photos would be deleting several photos....I used a program called Grand Perspective and began to delete photos from there
    5. although I'm interested in fixing this problem, I would like to learn more about 'libraries' and the way iphoto works. Previous to owning a Mac, I used Picasa with my pc and I don't remember it using as much space on my hard drive. iphoto has a large number of duplicated photos of which I've been unable to resolve easily and it is approx. 60 G of space. I would like to have access to my images (30,000) through external hard drives but not necessarily have them all on my mac. I believe that is what Picasa does. I'm using the new Picasa for Mac but want to continue to use iphoto as well.
    If I did not form this question well enough, please let me know how to clarify. I'm trying to remedy this while answering a million Why? why? Why? questions from my 4 year old!
    Thank you.
    iphoto 7.1.5

    I would like to learn more about 'libraries'
    Step one is to learn about iPhoto - it is not a photo viewer like Picasa - it is a photo manager and uses an SQL database - the content and structure of this database are critical (as with any database application) to the operation of iPhoto - any changes made to either the content or structure of the database using external programs including (especially) the finder can corrupt the database and cause you to lose data
    recent changes involving photos would be deleting several photos....I used a program called Grand Perspective and began to delete photos from there
    This is how you destroyed your iPhoto library and made it unusable
    As to space - the iPhoto database contains at a minimum a copy of the original photo (in the default and recommended operating environment) and a small thumbnail. When any modification to the photo is made a modified version is created so there might be three versions (no duplicates) of a photo within the iPhoto library - none of them are extraneous and none of them can be removed without corrupting the iPhoto library
    Once a photo is imported into iPhoto (assuming default settings which are strongly recommended) the original source photo outside of iPhoto can be archived, deleted or otherwise handles - iPhoto has no further need for it.
    The iPhoto library can be located on an external hard drive so long as that hard drive is always available when iPhoto is running
    In general it is not advised to run two different photo organizers against the same photos - so if you use both Picasa and iPhoto you are likely to create future problems (although Google claims it is possible - just remember that you can not successfully make any change of any sort to any photo with the iPhoto library using Picasa or any other program - if you only use Picasa to look at photos you may be ok - if you never make any mistakes
    As to your immediate problem - you have destroyed you iPhoto library by deleting files from it. If you want to use iPhoto you will have to start over - find the originals folder within the iPhoto library and launch iPhoto while depressing the option (alt) key and create a new library - import the photos from the originals folder into iPhoto and do not go inside the iPhoto library or modify the contents of the iPhoto library in the future.

  • Can't drag files from Assets folder to bin

    I have the free trial; 8.1 - running a Mac OS X 10.9.5
    I'm on the second video of the tutorial. I cannot get any of the files - jpg or mp4 - to drag into the Footage or Stills folder.
    This very simple, basic move is keeping me from going forward in the Tutorial - disappointing.
    Thanks anyone for help.

    Mystery solved, at least partially. On the folder that the dashed line points to, The magnifying glass icon indicates that it's a "search bin." That type of bin was added in version 2014.1 (October 2014). Search bins show only project items matching your search criteria--things like a string of letters in the name, the asset type, or metadata like frame rate. Since these special bins are populated by the program based on the search criteria, so you cannot manually add anything to such a bin. To learn more about search bins, please see this page in the help: Adobe Premiere Pro Help | Finding assets
    The remaining part of the mystery is where those two search bins came from. But for your immediate purposes that's moot. It appears that what you need at the moment is a new Stills bin, which you can create by clicking the New Bin button in the bottom right corner of the Project panel.

  • Can't find the folder ATV is using for screensaver pics?

    This is kind of weird...I am seeing all my pictures perfectly and it always works...BUT ever since I got my new Macbook & our Timecapsule crapped out, I haven't been able to find the folder that ATV says it's reading my pics from.  I want to add some newer pics to it but it doesn't seem to be on my macbook.  I don't have anything selected in itunes for pics to share & the old Macbook is powered off with a cracked screen so I know it's not reading them from there.  I don't have any folders on my iphone either.  We now use Airport so there is no storage within it...
    I looked thru iphoto & I checked the "name" that ATV has under screensavers/photos & then scanned my macbook for that exact folder too & it just ain't coming up anywhere.
    Any ideas?

    Wow.  I didn't know it cached anything.  Thx a bunch for solving that mystery!!

    I've lost a load of notes, but dont know why or how to get them back. I cant find the folder that is in my Yahoo account that people have suggested might be the location for the messages.  I recently signed into iCloud for the first time.  Any idea how to get the notes back?   I really dont want to lose them.

    It should keep asking for the password, because it's trying to check for purchases... As soon as you login, it will see you have pending downloads and create the downloads section on the left below Purchases under the Store section. Then it will start the music downloads there, as they will be listed one below the other.
    You could just try to check your account balance or view your account and that will trigger a password request too. You can just click on that and say that now iTunes keeps asking for the password and ask him to help you with that. Trick would be to interrupt him so that he carries on with another task after, so he doesn't notice the download. Or you carry on with email or browsing which you were "busy" with when iTunes interrupted you for the password (stupid iTunes)

  • Some songs from my iTunes library do not show in my Finder music folder

    Some songs from my iTunes library do not show in my Finder music folder. For example one of the three CD's form a triple album do not show in Finder. And therefore they do not get saved when I back up my Mac either. Any ideas?

    Consolidate ("organize") simply looks at everything you have in iTunes and copies them to the iTunes media folder location specified in iTunes prefs -> Advanced.  If you select to use the default settings iTunes will copy any files in its library in the correct location in the media folder.  Since you don't want the files in a different locaiton really but just want to deal with some stragglers don't do the full "move" in hte instructions below but make sure they are organized.
    iTunes 11 for Mac: Change where your iTunes files are stored - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12165
    The files will be copied so you will need to find the originals abd once you are content the library is working you can get rid of them (I often archive them on an external drive, delete the originals, then play the files which is a sure test if you have a workable copy on the computer).
