Want to get community help before uninstalling CF11 Beta
OK, so, I know it's Beta, and there just may be a bug to this, but ever since I installed it, no matter whether I was running HTML or CFML without an application.cfc (and even with one where my application/session timeouts were set to 2 hours), I have this issue where if I do not perform any activity for about 5 minutes, the next time I reload the page, I have to wait what seems like the initial 10+ seconds you do the first time you fire off making a request to the CF server when you boot the PC (ie, it acts as if the service is stopped). My services are currently:
ColdFusion Splendor Beta .NET Service (Stopped / Manual)
ColdFusion Splendor Beta Add-on Service (Stopped / Manual)
ColdFusion Splendor Beta Application Server (Started / Automatic)
ColdFusion Splendor Beta ODBC Agent (Stopped / Automatic)
ColdFusion Splendor BEta ODBC Server (Stopped / Automatic)
If anyone has some suggestions, I'm glad to try them out. I've been going over a refresher course on jQuery, and reading some, writing code, and refreshing to a 10+ second wait has finally put me over the edge with impatience. If I cannot find a resolve for this, I'm just going to uninstall ACF and probably stick with a commitment to Railo.

Thank you for testing CF11 beta. We appreciate your participation. I checked with CF11, Win 2K8 R2 4GB RAM, Xeon processor. cfm pages as well as html pages, works fine. I refreshed them after an hour or so, and they performed as expected.
Is there any specific code you have, that exhibits the slowness. I am not sure about any other reasons at present.

What's the origin of this external drive? It sounds very much like it's a Windows-formatted (NTFS) drive which Macs can't write to. If you can, copy the files off the drive, reformat it as Mac format (using Disk Utility) and copy the files back. If you need to continue writing to it from a Windows PC, you should format it ExFAT in Disk Utility.

As per requirment place the UI inside the two transperent container and set the cellBackGroundDesign property of the Outer container as Fill1 and bottompadding as 1px. and inside container's cellBackGroundDesign as plain.
By doing this you can achive this.

Row 1 is a Header Row. Row 10 is a Footer Row.
Formula in Footer Cell B10
=SUMIF(C,TRUE,B).
SUMIF will sum the values in B where there is a tick (TRUE) in C.

It appears to be a process of adding links to pertainant Adobe KB Articles, which is a good thing. I often spend a good deal of time, digging through Adobe KB Articles, that I sort of remember, but have trouble finding, when needed. Seems cool, and useful, when the structure and tweaking are implemented.

Can't uninstall, modify, or repair Desktop Manager Software...Help Before I get Fired!
PLEASE HEEELLLPPPP BEFORE I GO CRAZY!!! I'm actually trying to uninstall Desktop Manager 4.5 and no matter what I do, I can't seem to get the software to uninstall because, I suspect, it was originally extracted to a Temp folder that was deleted. Now, I can't use the typical Add/Remove Programs to remove, repair or modify DM becuase I get various errors from can't find the Blackberry Desktop Manager.msi file to error 1304 (or 1317 or 2330) saying Error getting file attributes c:\program files\research in motion\isti connectors\isgroupwise6.5x\1033 Get Last Error:23. I even tried to just delete the Research in Motion folder and that didn't even work because it had some problem with the .ico file! When I tried to navigate to the 1033 folder a message saying that the file folder needed to be formatted which in turn tries to format my WHOLE C: DRIVE! This issue is affecting my career actually. I have to convert my personal BIS BB to a corporate liable BES BB and have to use the corporate approved DM version 4.3 and since I can't get rid of 4.5 this could be a REAL PROBLEM WITH MY EMPLOYER!!! Any ideas would be so appreciated you don't even know!

I would tend to agree. You might want to run a chkdsk c: /f on the drive in an attempt to at least get things semi stable. If you sill cannot uninstall the app, you can attempt to reinstall it again to allow it to repopulate the areas where there were problems (assuming it will allow you to reinstall or repair by running the installer). If that works then you can attempt to uninstall it.
From the urgency in your post I'm under the impression you are looking for things to try, I would probably try this as a last resort step.
If everything works successfully, get a new drive and rebuilld. disk problems seem to have a tendency to return at the worst time. -

I damaged my iphone 5s and want to get my photos back. It was submerged in water for a good five minutes (and is now in rice) but I'm pretty sure it's dead.
I really would like to get my photos back. I wasn't plugging in my iphone and backing up, I just assumed it did it automatically because about a week ago I had a message saying automatic backups were stopping as my icloud was full.
My work ipad is running on ios8 (as of a few days ago!) but my iphone was on ios7 as I didnt have enough space to install the update. This means that my icloud is now icloud drive and I cannot view the stuff from my ios7 device without upgrading it to ios8. Trouble is, I cant upgrade it because it's in a rice bowl.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Any idea if I will be able to access my photos on icloud at all? I'm not very hopeful for my phone working again and downloading things that way!
Thanks!Photos that are in the cloud stay there until they are removed by a device that has the right privileges. If your iPad is logged in with the same AppleID, then doesn't it show the photos from iCloud?
You will only be on iCloud Drive if you expressly chose to upgrade. -

You said you updated yur 1G iPod to 4.2.1. A 1G can only go to 3.1.3 and thus you must have jailbroken it to get to 4.2.1 and that can cause problems.

If your iPhone can't be updated to a higher iOS version then the only way to get them is if you downloaded versions of them which were compatible with iOS 4.2.1 and you still have copies of those versions somewhere e.g. on your computer or on a backup - only the current version of each app is available in the store, and as apps (and other content) are tied to the account that downloads them, you will need to have older copies that are linked to your id

Sorry, but you probably can't. You cannot sync from an Apple TV to a PC except for items purchased from the iTunes Store on the Apple TV. You'll need to restore from the backups you made of your iTunes library, which I presume you made?
