Want to get rid of update page

Every time I open Firefox, I get my homepage, Plus the You have upgraded page for Firefox. I have tried resetting my homepage, no, it didn't work. I tried unchecking the updates boxes in the Advanced Tab of Tools, it did not work.
I am using the latest update of Firefox on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop.

You can check for problems with preferences.
Delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

You can also try to rename (or delete) the compatibility.ini file in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

No. You must use a computer to sync and update both devices via iTunes on the computer. The iPad2 cannot replace the laptop for syncing purposes.

Bing and Ashampoo have hijacked my Firefox page and I want to get rid of them.

At the top of the screen is only a Yahoo icon on the left and to the right of it a search box, "Web Search,", "My Apps," Yellow Pages," "Weather," "Updates," and "Skype." to the right of those there is a green cross saying "Add more apps. to your toolbar" and to the right of that a sort of gear shift looking icon saying "toobar settings."
So, in short, how do I get rid of the Bing screen and how do I access those Tools?

Not sure exactly what you mean but while you are using Safari, just tap the X on the left side of the tab to close a it. Only the active tab shows the X. You have to tap on a tab to make it active or the foremost window.
If you want to clear the history - Settings>Safari>Clear History.
These are instructions for Safari in iOS 5. What version are you running?

How to 'get rid' of a page flow template

I added a page flow template instead of a page flow and wanted to delete it (get rid of it forever) but couldn't see how to. So I selected 'exclude project content'. Then I created a new page flow with the same name but it went back to the other item I excluded. Then I tried to change it to a page flow but I couldn't get it back into my project. I finally closed JDev and deleted the project and am starting over. How does one delete one of these?

I'm not sure I understand you correct.
If you want to get rid of the template, go to the file system folder and just delete the template file. If your jdev was open you have to refresh the project. It's normaly better to close jdev before deleting the template in the file system and then start jdev again. Jdev then will rescan the directories and delete the file from the jpr file.

Firefox 4+ versions use a new build-in home page named <b>about:home</b> with a Google search bar on it (no internet access needed to load that page).<br />
That about:home page only shows some snippets and has a button to restore the previous session if applicable.
If you want a home page without the Restore Previous Session button and the snippets then set another page as the home page like www.google.com used in Firefox 3 versions.
You may be seeing a similar ad on the Google site to install Google Chrome.<br />
In that case use the close X on that ad to close that pop-up and it should stay away unless local storage gets cleared.

Get rid of first page in PDF generated by report designer

When I publish a report from report designer and convert it to print version, the first page of the PDF has - name of the report and last updated information for the whole first page. How can I get rid of this page? is there any setting that I need to do to get rid of the front page with all these details.
