If you allow, this is what I would suggest -
1) First focus on the concepts. Understand how MDM goes beyond the traditional database concepts of master child relationship and uses concepts of Hierarchy Table, Taxonomy/Attributes tables, Qualified Lookups etc. RKT material exercises are good enough for quick ramp-up on these concepts. Once you have got the concepts, you will be able to easily create a XLS file yourself. Also the fun is not in importing an XLS file that has been created specifically for import into MDM. Any logical data structure in xls should be importable into MDM by using the functionality of MDM Import Manager
2) In the RKT material you should find an exercise called Case Study. I am emailing a Spreadsheet that created to use with this exercise. It is basically a Products Main Table, with Manufacturers coming from a Hierarchy Look table and Categories and Attributes table to store product classifications.

Question about Associate SAP HR certification

I am thinking of taking Associate SAP HR certification. I actually took a training for 6 weeks. Is it possible to take the exam without work experience. Do i need work experience to take the certification. Is the certification worth taking to land a job?

I want to have Logic 9 and X installed ( I want to keep my 32 bit plugs) - will X overwrite all my 9 prefs etc? Can I keep both installed?

So, if I buy and download Logic X, will it overwrite my previous install of Logic 9? I really don't want that to happen and would prefer to have both installed so I can go back to old projects using 32 bit plugins and also start new projects in X.....
Any tips or advice to avoid losing logic ? IS it as simple as just putting the logic app in a new folder called 'logic 9' or something?
Really want to get X, but apprehensive.....

Material Ledger Question with "Individual PO" process

Hello All,
I have a material ledger question related to the individual PO process in SAP where a Sales Order is Created, which automatically generates a Req/PO. The materials from the Req/PO are received into the plant for which the Req/PO was created, and the Stock type of this material becomes Sales Order Stock. Then a outbound delivery is created to issue the goods to the customer on the original sales order that started this whole process.
The issue is that the material ledger is not reflecting the goods receipt at the time we do the goods receipt against the PO, as it does with all other goods receipts. It will only be reflected once the outbound delivery to the sales order is created. Therfore the general ledger and the material ledger subsidary are not in balance. This will not be a problem as long as the sales delivery is created within a few hours as expected, but if the receipt and sales delivery crosses a month end, this will cause an issue. This would also be a problem for us at physical inventory.
Is this supposed to happen in this process? Is there a report to show where the outbound deliveries need to still be created for sales orders in this process that can be used for us at month end? Any help you could provide would be greatly appriciated. Thank you.

Just curious... I feel you have done this, but in CKM3, can you key in the Sales Order number in the field provided and then see what the result is? What does it show?

Some problems and questions

I have some problems and questions about my MSI MEGA PC 180 system...
One problem is that MSI live monitor only works one time after every new installation then is just say "The URL is invalid" every other time I try to search for updates.
One problem is that one of the fans doesn't turn off when I turn of the computer and the only way to get i to turn off is to turn on the hifi mode and turn it off then the fan stops. And some times the fan can start after a while when the computer has been turned off.
There are two fans for the cooling of the CPU but PCALERT only shows the speed of one of them.. why? according to the manual one of the is called CPU fan and the other one is called sysfan but only CPU fan showes i PCALERT.
Are there no other way to control the Tv other than with the Home Teather system than I find way to slow if you use 1280x1024 resolution on the screen like I do. And are there no way to sort and remove channels in home teather? As i is now I can't move the channels in the order I want and I can't remover channels that the auto search thaught was channels but aren't?
An other thing that I find annoying is that the fullscreen mode of home teather doens't cover all off the screen it doesn't hide the systray and leaves a small but annoying kolumn to the right that showes the backgrund and that is very annoying to watch tv if you have a light backgrund because the kolumn are so bright.

I see you agree that MC III is far from perfect. Perhaps you can try the combination of Media Portal and Ir2Key. Just read some of the other posts including "WinIRX.ocx internals/usage" by ddookie. Another possibility is to try Dscaler, but this program is only for watching TV.
Regarding the processor fans: its normal that only one of the two shows up in PcAlert; when you look closely to both fans you'll see that one has only a two-wired connection.
The problem of a fan not shutting down is new to me, I suppose you have checked the connections to your mobo?

I need to prepare a Online Quick Reference (OLQR)/questionnaire/FAQ's (SAP R/3 4.7 -FICO and integration of FI-SD & FI-MM), for the end-users, which they will refer to after Go-Live.

I have my old iphone 5s and recently I bought a iphone 6. What I want to do is to use same apple id on both of them, but I want to have different apps and media on them.
I plan to use the iphone 5s as my 2nd phone, so I do not need same apps/music/movies/books on them. Any tips how I can keep them different? Every time I sync I have to manually select the books and music I want to have on my phone. I want to create two different profiles for my phones which will have different apps, books and music.
I do not use icloud, so that is not a problem for me.

How to put material and service in the same order

I want to put the material and service in the same order. How do it input different taxes. and also migo for one material item and other service item.

In your scenario create material and service PO using T-code ME21N as follows.
1) Select PO document type, vendor and PO date
2) PO first line item account assignment 'N' if project and give input data material code,plant,storage location,qty,rate,delivery date and tax code.
3) PO second line item account assignment 'K', item category 'D',material short text for service, plant,storage location,material group data's are input given and press enter it will open 'Service Tab' in Item Detail Menu.
4) In item Detail Menu - Service tab you will give Service no.,qty,gross price for the above service material activity and service tax code in Invoice TAB and then check PO and SAVE.
5) After getting PO approved by top management.
6) PO first line item, you will do MIGO and PO second line item you will do ML81N service entry sheet.
7) On the vendor bill, you will mention material document number (GRN no.) & Service sheet number and given to accounts dept.. They will book vendor bill and give payment.

General Steps:
1: Creat configurable material with Material is configurable indicator active (or use KMAT mat.type)
2: Maintain all related fields in MRP and Sales views for configurable material.
3: Creat Super BOM/ Super Routing.
4: Creat charecteristics, values as required and assign charecterisitcs in a class of class type 300 created. (class type 200
    can also be used with some changes)
5: Assign class created in the classification view of the configurable material in material master. You can define mulitiple
    classes.
6: Maintain object dependencies in super BOM and super Routing, if required in charecteristics also you can maintaine ODs.
    (use of different ODs such as pre conditions, selection conditions, procedures and contraints depending on scenario)
7: Maintain Configuration profile for configurable material with all necessary fields.
8: Now VC is ready for use. Create Sales order system will popup a window to select different options.
9: Save sale order, convert sales order to production order and proceed with normal production execution steps.
