Want to Hide smthing for particular user

hi everyone
i had created one application and in that application if my end user='A' then he only able to access application pages 2,3,4. And if user =B then he will be able to access pages 1,3,4,5 .In short how u gonna hide for one user and display for another user.

Create an authorization scheme from scratch...
Scheme type: Value of item in Express 1 equals Expression 2
Expression 1: APP_USER
Expression 2: A
Identify error message when scheme violated: Error, you are not authorized (or whatever)
Evaluation Point: Once per session
Then create another one for the other user.
Then you can apply them as you like.

All the lists in SharePoint inherits permission from its site. To hide a list from a user or a group what you can do is break permission inheritance at the particular list level.
1) Go to List and then click List Settings from the Ribbon.
2) Under permissions and management click Permissions for this list
3) Click Stop Inheriting Permission from the Ribbon
4) Remove User or Group that you do not want to share that list with.

Document ype restriction in FBL5N for particular user

I have a requirement where in we have to restrict document.type in fbl5n....... clients wants to give authorization to particular user only .They don't want to go for screen variant option.... i have define authorization group in oba7 and in tbrg table i have given authorization object F_bkpf_bla also n basis guy have created rule for it then also we are able to see other document type like DR... we want restriction for DA,SA,DZ,AB.........Please help me if i am missing any thing..

Create a role, insert the transaction to be used, the user with this profile and assign the correct authorizations.
You have to use the authorization object F_BKPF_BLA that is the Authorization for Document Types.
View Report : Authorization for Viewing report
Activity All activities
Authorization Group XXXX
So the user with this Role and Profile can only view a document with a Document type with a specific Autorization Group XXXX(V_T003-BRGRU).

IW32- order-print is giving error for particular User.

Menu Exclusion for particular users

Hi All,
I don't think there is a way for my requirement but still want to check with you all if I can get any other solutions for this.
For a custom responsibility can we exclude the Menu items for particular users. For example the menu items are Reports1, Reports2. User1 should only have access to Reports1 and user 2 for Reports2. Can we do it by any profile options or how to achieve this.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can you please confirm whether you wish to exclude menu or reports.
But anyway that being requested, if you wish to exclude a specific menu only to a particular user whilst having them to other user is not possible unless you create a different menu and assign it to a new responsibility and then assign it the user.
The same is applicable to the reports, but the same layout should be followed on request groups.

The message no longer appears once you ensure the background jobs are scheduled to run via the user id UWL_SERVICE and that user is mapped to my portal user ID UWL_SERVICE.

We have webi report in 3.1 version which is running fine in Infoview for particular user.
But when same report is send into Inbox of other user and if user try to run it in infoview it is giving below error.
"No data to retrieve in Query 1"
All the security and group member level settings for both the user are exactly same. What could be the reason for this behaviour.

Lock a tcode for particular user

i need to lock few transaction for particular users only. we have n number of roles and the transactions have been assigned to some tcodes to be reasticted for a list of users. is there any method or program to built to restrict the users for few tcodes.is there any more query pl trigger me

as you said if i start creating roles to restrict some users then there atleast 25 tcodes are there to restrict and 120 roles are to be analyzed and the job becomes hefty by creating roles and there will too many number of roles and it becomes confusion in future forecast. there fore i nedd any suggestion like that the userscan be restricted when they are trying to access that particular code or lock the screen or inform them to not access these tcodes thro some message or writing a program to restrict the users while the user exits. i have an idea but i dont know how it will work - ( I am not a ABAPER) there should be tcode or program which should list tcodes authorized for particular users and where they can be locked like SM01 ( but it will lock for all) but locking for particular users

i have oracle user zil,i want to write trigger for this user..
with out writting trigger for each table .
for ex:
i have 2 tables in this user
1.emp
2.audit_log
suppose i m inserting values into emp table at the same time insert into audit_log with action as insert,like that suppose i m updating any row in emp then insert one row into audit_log with action as modify,
my question is is it possible to write a trigger for the user zil,not for table emp
so i can maintain audit_log..
pls give me a solution

It depends upon how you are connecting to the Oracle database, if you are connecting through CITRIX then it is difficult to identify the user or the other option for you is to have a field USER in each table and pass the user name form the front end.
To captures the changes in the table EMP and insert into the AUDIT table you may need to write a trigger in the EMP table and before you INSERT into AUDIT check the user.
Or why dont you use AUDITING provied by Oracle.

I've read following guide how to use MPF and Regex.

What my question is how should the ASA know which user is now surfing in the web. Does the IE or Mozilla sends the usercredentials in the webstream ? How can the ASA extract from the HTTP traffic which user is now surfing.
Is MPF and Regex really working to prohibit traffic for particular users?
I dont think so, the only solution in my opinion is to use a proxy server.

Hi Patrick,
I think you answered your question from the start. ASA's can do deep HTTP inspection by inspecting MIME types and looking for REGEX strings. However, like you pointed out, unless that string specifically has the user credentials or you can implement a REGEX to pull a consistent string your not going to be able to proxy your user traffic.
I have implemented HTTP Inspect Policy-Maps to restrict access to specific sites and I implemented the REGEX syntax to pull the URL strings. I have only implemented on very rare occasions in the event the client didn't have a proxy and specific comprimise was communicating to a site or entity that had multiple Layer 3 destinations.
