Any Help is very much appreciated!
Thanks,

Hi Hank,
I think the way IDXNOALE works isn't really user friendly at all. You have to play around with it for a while before getting it to work the way you want it to.
I would proceed as follows...
1) First check if there aren't any ale acks setup in IDXNOALE that are in fact valid. There might be some there that were setup by someone else that worked on it before you.
2) If there are valid one's, make a note of them.
3) If there aren't any valid ale acks or you want to turn them all off then in IDXNOALE enter the sender port & client & click 'Do not request acknowledgement'. That should turn off all acks for that port & client.
4) Then click execute (or F8) to see the result.
5) It should say 'No acknowledgments requested for all message types for this system
Except for the following message types' and nothing else.
6) Then check if you still get the annoying warnings. You shouldn't get them. If you're still getting them then you need to verify that your Sender Port & Client are correct.
7) Lastly, if there were valid acks (steps 1 & 2), add them as exceptions to this. See 'Exception list' (Add Message Type) bottom half of IDXNOALE screen. You add the valid message types one by one & execute (F8) after each one you add. You should then see something like the example below. Then Idocs that are sent with the message types in the list below will show annoying warnings and any other message types won't show annoying warnings.
Example:
No acknowledgments requested for all message types for this system
Except for the following message types
ALEAUD
FIDCC2
ORDCHG
ORDERS
REMADV

  • Want to ignore exception in a begin-end block

    Hi,
    For a given plsql block (inside a procedure or function for example) I want to ignore a certain oracle exception. Ignore as in, it should not be raised at all.
    What I want to do is something like this -
    begin (tell somehow to NOT raise NO Data Found (NDF) )
    bq. select <something> \\ into  <some Variable> \\ from <somewhere>; \\ if sql%rowcount = 0 \\ then \\ +<take action meant for NDF>;+ \\ end if;
    end;
    Any Ideas ?
    cheers
    raghav..

    Justin,
    If you have queries that can properly return 0 or more rows, that is the natural way to implement that. It won't raise an exception if no data is found, it won't raise an exception if multiple rows are found.How can I write a query that would not raise an exception when 0 rows are returned ?
    I'm not clear on how a design can "not like the NDF as such". Why would you have to convert that to a business exception and pass it along to the caller? Why wouldn't you just handle the exception in your code if you expect that the NO_DATA_FOUND exception is valid.
    The design doesnt like NDF just because the end user has to receive a better response than "No Data was found". We want to include lots of contextual info about the error and the location etc. Even though the NDF is valid, I wont pass it along as such, I would probably convert it to a business exception which would probably say something like "no entities found for end client <ID>" etc..
    cheers

  • I want to import sql file but some recode i want to ignore it and go on

    i have sql file it contine all data of anuther table i want to import this data
    to new table but i want to ignore some record (don't insert it in table)

    Can you be a bit more precise. Is it an export of the table data which you now wish to import ( would be easier to have exported just the rows you required ).
    If it is a text file you plan to import using sql loader then you could add a contraint on the database to discard those rows.
    Alternatively you may need to have a holding table to delete the records not required before you add them to the new table.

  • I just wanted to ignore the delivery date given by the system

    hi,
    sap gurus,
    good afternoon to all,
    i just wanted to ignore the delivery date which is given by the system.
    suppose if ur creating a sales order today then system designed date for delivery is after 7 days.
    i doesn't want that day.
    i want the same date as delivery date in which order is created.
    regards,
    balaji.t

    You can ignore the Requested delivery date , beacuse during delivery scheduling system takes this date into consideration.
    Yes , you can default the requested delivery date by changing in the Sales doc type (VOV8) as per your requirement in 'Lead time in dats field",  also you can change this default date as requested by the customer, during order processing .
    If you make the "Lead time in days" field blank, then system will automatically propose to-day's date as the Requested Delivery date.
    Whichever date you may put, system takes it into consideration  in delivery scheduling.Requested delivery date means , customer wants to receive the goods on this date. System checks by delivery scheduling, whether this date can be confirmed or not.
    First, it starts Backward Scheduling, means starts calculating backward from this Requested Delivery date and calculates the "Material Availabilty date"& the "Transportation Planning date".
    If  both these date ("Material Availabilty date" & "Transportation Planning date) are after the order date and the Material is available on the Material availability date then , the Requested delivery date can be confirmed.
    Even one of the date is earlier than the order date or  the material is not available on the Material Availability date then system can not confirm the Customer's Requested delivery date & immediately it goes for forward scheduling. Accordingly you get the delivery date/ dates in the schedule line for the item.
    So how system can ignore this date ?
    Actually this date is tested whether it can be confirmed or not
    & whether Forward scheduling will take place or not.
    I hope it is clear.

  • I don't seem to have View anymore. I can't fix my screen. Why is Mozilla deciding that I should ignore threads. I don't want to ignore threads. I can't fix this

    I am really distressed that Mozilla apparently unilaterally decided I should not see all my threads. I DO want to see all my threads. In fact, one reason I don't get my mail from a website is that I don't like my messages grouped according to threads.
    The instructions given in the Ignoring Threads article do not seem to match my computer. Here are the instructions: "To ignore a thread you select Message | Ignore Thread, or simply use the K (for "kill") keyboard shortcut." I don't see "View" or "Message" or "Ignore Thread." How can I fix this?
    (And please, Mozilla, stop making decisions for me. )

    View is in two places.
    First on the menu bar where it always has been. The menu bar is hidden in the newer versions of Thunderbird. Pressing the alt key or F10 reveals hidden toolbars.
    There is a new AppMenu button located in the upper right of the screen. It is a square area with 3 horizontal lines. View is located here also.
    Thunderbird is software that runs on your computer. It is configured by you.

  • HT201068 I want to ignore this update.  How do I remove it from my active list on the App Store app?

    Can I remove this update from the active list on the computer?  I don't want it active as I may by mistake install this unwanted update

    You can only hide some updates (i believe only OS X updates).  You can do so by right clicking or control clicking in the blank area around the description or title of the update in the App Store list and choosing hide update.  If you'd like to restore them, choose the Store option from the menu bar and then "show all software updates"
    you can alternatively use the Terminal to "ignore" updates and reset "ignored updates".  For more information on that open Terminal and type:

  • InDesign CS2 - don't want to ignore Whitespace elements

    Hi,
    I am working of InDesign CS2 on XP-SP2, while doing manual XML import i can successfully uncheck "Do not import contents of whitespace-only elements" but i can't do the same using script....
    I am using following chunk of script in CS2 which doesn't work with ESTK2.
    mydoc.xmlImportPreferences.ignoreWhitespace = false;
    I noticed this works well with CS3 plugins in CS2. I need to resolve this with CS2 only. Let me know if you have any clue.
    Thanks.

    Under Document Offset, specify the number of lines that are to be ignored at the beginning of the document.
    This enables you to skip comment lines or column names during processing. If you do not make an entry, the default value is zero lines.

  • File dynamically named & want to ignor some characters

    Hi,
    My ODI sources are files dynamically named with structure SR_10-04-2011-22-54.tx.gz --> SR_dd-mm-yyyy-hh24-mi.txt.gz , i'm trying to extract thoes files with ODIunzip so i created a package and passed a variable with that structure to the ODIunzip component, but as my files are generated by a platforme in a time, and the extraction begin later , the sysdate browth form Oracle by : select to_char(sysdate,'dd-mm-yyyy-hh24-mi') from dual ; to the variable is not conform with the file structure (minuts & seconds) so i'll bring just the dd-mm-yyyy form the sysdate, and what i need is to extract the file with that date , and ignor the seconds & minuts in the name of the file.
    so Plz how can i do that?
    or is there other way to extract this file?
    thx a lot :)

  • Updating JTable every second, want to ignore these events in my listener

    I have a JTable that I update every second using
    table.getModel().setValueAt(data, row, col);I'm also reacting to when the user clicks on a row in a the table, using a ListSelectionListener:
    public class MyTableListener implements ListSelectionListener {
              public void valueChanged(ListSelectionEvent e) {
                   if (e.getValueIsAdjusting()) return;
                   //do stuff
    }And of course I've done this:
    table.getSelectionModel.addListSelectionListener(new MyTableListener());Problem is, every time I update the table data it generates an event handled by valueChanged() above. I need to prevent this.
    Do I need a customized table model for this?
    Thanks!

    Found the problem: I forgot I was using JXTable, not JTable. Here's my example:
    import javax.swing.*;
    import javax.swing.event.*;
    import javax.swing.table.*;
    import java.awt.*;
    import org.jdesktop.swingx.*;
    public class Test {
         JXTable table = null;//change this to JTable to fix
         public class MyTableListener implements ListSelectionListener {
              public void valueChanged(ListSelectionEvent e) {
                   System.out.println("event="+e.toString());
         public Test()
              JFrame frame  = new JFrame();
              String columns[] = {"one", "two"};
              Object data[][] = {{0, 0}, {0, 0}, {0, 0}};
              table = new JXTable(data, columns);//change this to JTable to fix
              table.getSelectionModel().addListSelectionListener(new MyTableListener());
              frame.add(new JScrollPane(table, JScrollPane.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR_AS_NEEDED, JScrollPane.HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR_AS_NEEDED),
                          BorderLayout.CENTER);
              startThread();
              frame.setVisible(true);
         public static void main (String args[]) {
              Test test = new Test();
         public void startThread()
              class RefreshThread extends Thread {
                   public void run() { try {
                             while(true) { SwingUtilities.invokeLater(new Runnable() {public void run() {
                                       updateTable();
                                  sleep(1*1000);
                        } catch (Exception e) {e.printStackTrace();}
              RefreshThread rt = new RefreshThread();
              rt.start();
         public void updateTable()
              TableModel model = table.getModel();
              try {
                   for(int row = 0; row < model.getRowCount(); row++)
                        model.setValueAt(System.currentTimeMillis(), row, 0);
                        model.setValueAt(System.currentTimeMillis(), row, 1);
              } catch (Exception e) {
                   e.printStackTrace();
    }When I change it to a JTable, valueChanged() is not called every time I programmatically update the table.
    If it's a JXTable, valueChanged() is called with every update. Annoying!
    To compile/run the JXTable version you'll need something like
    java -cp swingx-1.0.jar:. TestAs for the events themselves, I added print statements with e.toString() and the events are not distinguishable from user interaction. I wonder if this is a JXTable bug or feature.
    Thanks!
