Want to install Adobe CS on new MBP; do I need to de-authorize on pb first?

Hi there,
I bought Adobe Creative Suite three months ago, installed it on my pG4 powerbook.
Recently I got a MacBook Pro. Should I de-authorize Adobe on my powerbook before installing it on my MBP? Part of the reason I ask is because at some point in the future, I hope to get a Mac Pro, and will definitely want to install Adobe CS on it.
Are there issues to de-authorizing?
Any special steps anyone can advise me on?

Yes. According to Adobe, you should deactivate any copy of their CS applications before attempting to use the same serial number for another install. Even if it's on the same computer in the case of an erase and reinstall of the entire hard drive.
All you have to do is launch any of the Creative Suite apps. From the menu, choose Help > Deactivate. You will get a box warning you that you will be deactivating the entire suite for that computer. You can't deactivate just one portion of it, like Illustrator, and leave the rest installed. Click the Deactivate button.
I don't remember what the original CS suite gives you for options to uninstall it. Go to the /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/ folder and run the alias linked programs to uninstall the software, if you have them. Otherwise, put in the original CD or DVD and see if there's an option to uninstall the software there.

I doubt the license is affecting the performance - it might be a case of the software being too old for the machine.
In any case, you can contact Adobe support thru chat and have them reset your activation count to eliminatre your doubts regarding the license.

you may as well install the later lr 5.7.1 rather than 5.6 and then updating.

So i have Aperture in my current MBP. Can I also install it in my new MBP or do I have to buy it again?

If you want to have the software on both systems at the same time you must purchase another copy. Otherwise you must remove the copy of Aperture from your current MBP before installing Aperture on your new MBP. The license does not allow installation of a single copy on two laptops at the same time.

You must back up all data before continuing, unless you've already done so. If you need to back up but can't log in, ask for instructions.
If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise*, boot into Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. In the Terminal window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select
 ▹ Restart
from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but your Keychain will be reset (empty.) If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it.
*Note: If you've activated FileVault, this procedure doesn't apply. Follow instead these instructions.

Connect the SSD with an external enclosure. Boot the system holding down the Command and R keys to get to the Recovery partition. Partition and format the drive with Disk Utility, then install. You're done.

I want to install Adobe Reader on a different drive as my C drive is much smaller than my storage drive.

Still, you can install the Reader folder on any drive you want using the installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
