Want to install Photoshop onto new laptop (second machine)...

The new laptop doesn't have a disc drive. I'm a student, and my copy of PS CS6 is on an actual disc. Is there still a way to get to a download of it, since I'm not on the cloud?

Need some help installing photoshop onto my new computer. Way back when I was in college I purchased photoshop. It has worked fine for everything that I do, plus I know all the tricks to this particular version. It has only been installed on 2 computers before...both my own computers. Now we have a new computer because the last one broke & I haven't been able to download the program. I have the cd etc but wondering why I can't download it. Could it be because it is so old....?? You can just download the version you have licensed from Adobe and install it.
You'll need to activate it with your serial number if you have a perpetual license, or just log in with your Adobe ID if you have a Creative Cloud subscription.
Both your serial number and the download link are available from Adobe.com if you registered your product.

Help re-installing Photoshop onto new HD

My macbook pro died and I had to have a new hard drive put in. All my software has been wiped and I am having trouble re-installing Photoshop CS3.
It ran perfectly on my mac before it crashed, now it will not let me fully install, successfully installing the shared components but coming up with the following message:
Errors: 2 component(s):
Adobe Photoshop CS3
Component install failed
Shared components
Component install failed
It is a valid fully purchased copy of photoshop CS3 and has never been installed onto another computer.
Please help as I am a photographer and this is essential to my work! Thank you so much,

I need to download my already purchased photoshop onto my new lap top. I cannot figure out how to re-download. It has been a couple years since my purchase but I am not looking to buy the new version. I am used to having a box with a CD in it...GRRR...any help much appreciated.

You cannot install Creative Suites on both Macs and Windows; just Mac only or Windows only
Provided they're both Macs, you'll be fine.

Aging music fan wiped IPOD when installing itunes onto new laptop on xp

I have just bought a high end sony vio with duo intel running windows xp. I installed itunes and when I synched the ipod I wiped all my tunes.
BUT my ipod still shows about 20% space on memory used so I am pretty sure the songs are still there
Does anyone know how to recover the songs and provide a simple step by step guide on how to do it?

Since you have a new computer with (presumably) no songs on it, it was doing exactly what you told it to do. You probably clicked Yes at the box below.
You can try www.yamipod.com and see if it can get the songs off your iPod. Not sure if it will work though.

Installing photoshop onto a notebook

I have Production Premium CS5.5 and from that, I want to install photoshop onto my notebook, which has no dvd or cd rom drive. I copied the folder over, and had some wishful thinking, but to no avail, then looked for a setup.exe, also to no avail, can anyone offer some suggestions or tips. I really don't want to have to download the trial version

What exactly did you copy? The install DVDs? Just copying the installed executables from system to system won't work, anyway, due to the licensing system....

Install photoshop element 8 in two machines

i have a copy of photoshop element_8. I installed in one personal computer (A). Then I installed the same copy in another computer (B). However, the second one had to be UN-installed (forgot the reason why). Now i just re-installed photoshop element_8 in the second machine (B) again, and it's telling me I have previously used up 2 licenses, and I only have 30 days left to use in the second machine (B). But, I am only installing my Photoshop Element_8 in TWO machines total. What do I do? Help!!

The standard licence allows you to have two active copies of Photoshop Elements.
So you should be able to install it on a second laptop.

Installing CS2Premium upgrade onto new laptop with Windows 8

I am trying to install a Creative Suite 2 Premium upgrade onto a new laptop with Windows 8. The upgrade is from Photoshop 5.0, which I also have the original discs for, but is not installed on this new laptop. Therefore, the upgrade is not being recognized. I tried putting the 5.0 disc in and having the installation search for it as verification, but that wasn't working. I realize both of these programs are ancient, but they are what I have. So be it. :-) Can someone help me figure out how to get my CS2 upgrade to install?

I cannot answer regarding compatibility, but there is no download available for PSE6 if you would need one for this. You might be able to copy the installation files from a disk to some other removable media that the machine accepts. Upgrading to PSE7 would not be possible mainly because Adobe does not sell older versions of their software.

A redemption code can only be redeemed once. It is used to acquire a serial number. The serial number is what you need to activate the installed software. If you did not keep the serial number when you first installed, you might still be able to find it in your Adobe account online if you registered the software.
