Yeah, just open Boot Camp Assistant, restore the hard drive to a single partition and then redo the partitions again. You should have a bare minimum of about 50GB as @The hatter said. You might want to just divide equally, that's usually the easiest thing to do.

Hi, i have GX623 laptop (CPU:Intel Core 2 Duo P8400; RAM: 4GB ), i am interested why there is no Windows 7 64bit driver support for this model ? I really would like to run some 64bit software on it.
If my laptop hardware support it why MSI don't release drivers so my software can also support it. In some 32bit drivers there are some 64bit drivers but still not all for complete functionality.
On some older posts from 2009 I see responses that windows 7 64bit is very new so that's the reason for no driver support but in 2011 surely that is not the case.
Can we expect 64bit drivers for Windows 7 in near future or support for 64bit software isn't planed for this model?

Yes, it's in your Applications folder and is called "Install OS X". Make sure to empty your trash afterwards to clear the space.

@Razmee209 is right there is nothing you can do if it is an encrypted back up

BUT you could try to see if you have a back up that is not encrypted. If you go to iTunes Preferences (On a Windows go to Edit Menu under the Play Button - On a Mac click on iTunes at the top left) Click on Devices and if you see a back up that does not have a lock next to it you will be able to restore from that back up without using that password.
Encrypted passwords are set up at the time you create the back up.

Firefox won't install for all users in Windows 8.1; only installs for administrator

Since moving to Windows 8.1, I have been unable to install Firefox for multiple users on this laptop. Firefox installs only for the Administrator (me), and does not appear on any other user account. When I try installing from one of the other user accounts (after entering my administrator password), it simply won't install.

Check that Firefox isn't set to run as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
* Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
* "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected
Also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).

T500 Windows 7 64bit only 2.99GB RAM

I have BIOS Version: 6FET8WW(3.11) Is this the 64bit ROM?
Chipset: GM45/GM47.
I used the ISO Image BIOS Uppgrade. If memory serves there is both 32bit and 64bit ROM in the ISO Image. I am thinking, maybe there was installed a 32bit ROM. Bechause, 2.99GB Ram(usabe) usally is a limit to 32bit OS. I have tried to reinstall the ROM, but the installation program says the same ISO Image is already installed.
PcDoctor Dos says the RAM is Passed.
Again, is it the right BIOS version?
Eventually, how do i flash to the right wersion when the installation utility uppgrade stops and states that uppgrade is not nescessary?

It has to do with the amount of ram installed, not the bios version you use.

Install Windows 7 now or wait for Snow Leopard (bootcamp 3?)

What should I do? I just received my RTM copy of Win7 and I'm debating whether or not I should wait for the Snow Leopard release to install it.
I wonder if it will be better supported with bootcamp 3. Any (quick) advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I definitely agree with Hatter, it was the easiest installation with Bootcamp I've experienced with a Windows OS and I'm currently running Leopard.

Problem with partion resulting in "One of the source volumes specified has an invalid format and cannot be protected using Windows Backup. Only volumes formatted with NTFS/ReFS can be protected."

We have two new Windows Servers 2012 R2 that I'm trying to set backups on using a script. When I used the -allCritical switch, I get the error specified in the subject. When I look at the partition information using diskpart, I see a 2048 MB partition with
no drive letter labeled as System that is FAT32. I was never prompted to my recollection of what file system to format the partition with. Is it safe to assign this partition a letter, convert to NTFS, and then remove the drive letter?

I did. I assigned the drive a letter and ran CONVERT [drive letter]:
/FS. I was really worried during the reboot, but it came up OK, and after it was back online, I removed the drive letter.

Firewire 400- eMac wants to connect to Firewire 800-only iMac for migration

Is there any way (say, an adapter) to make it possible to connect an eMac to a brand-new iMac in order to migrate the files etc. from the older to the newer? It appears that the cable terminals are not compatible (I only have used the older Firewire 400 cables).

Why not update CS6 to use ACR 8.6? If CS 6 menu Help>Updates does not update ACR to 8.6 try downloading the update manually and inst stall it.

I want to buy iPhone 4 at discount price for a friend! Can I do it?

This is a weird question and I'm not sure if anyone has thought about this or even without my knowledge, asked this question, but I felt very compelled to ask it anyway. I am currently in family plan where all three lines are due for an upgrade. My sister and I plan to purchase the iPhone 4 but my mother does not want to upgrade her phone (she's a BlackBerry user). I was wondering if I can upgrade her phone to an iPhone while she keeps her BlackBerry and I just take that iPhone and give it to another friend, who then can use the iPhone. Is all this possible? I would like to add we're all going to be sticking around for another two years with AT&T.

There should be no problem with this. The only issue I would imagine you would run into would be that I believe you will have to choose one of the iPhone data plans when you upgrade. If your Mom has some sort of Blackberry data package it could mess with that becuase you'd have to remove it. I know that you can just change back to the Blackberry data plans after the fact and get credit for the iPhone plan, but here is the kicker: If your Mom has had the Blackberry data plan for a while and it's no longer offered by AT&T, once she is forced to change it because of the new iPhone, you will not be able to get the same Blackberry plan back. You'd have to switch to one of the current ones, which may cost more. That would be the only real thing to check into or worry about.

When two or more wireless base stations are configured in a roaming network, they are all interconnected by Ethernet. Each base station will retain a unique base station name, but will use the same Network Name (also called SSID), wireless security type, & password. As far as wireless network clients are concerned, this type of network will appear as a single wireless network. You can literally walk (roam) with a laptop between routers and still be connected to the "same" wireless network.
In my case, I have a main Internet router that provides an Ethernet network (backbone) throughout my 2-story home. On each floor I have placed an AirPort base station that connects back to this main router. Both AirPorts are configured for a roaming network. This configuration allow me to be in any room on either floor and still get wireless Internet access.

For an "extended" network, both units will need to be AirPorts. For a "roaming" network, they can be units provided by different manufacturers. Again, in my example, the "main" router is a Cisco RVS4000.

Will PS7 install on Windows 7 64bit?

Has anyone installed Photoshop 7.0 on Windows 7 64bit with success?
Are there any actions I need to know before attemoting to install it...or any errors I might get and how to remedy them?

It should install and run fine as long as your hard drive is not bigger than 1TB.
Photoshop versions photoshop 7 and earlier can't see a hard drive over 1TB and you'll get a scratch disk full error.
Right now i have photoshop 7 and photoshop elements 2 installed on a 64 bit version of windows 8.
(they are both from the same time period around 2002)
Once you get photoshop 7 installed you should also install the 7.01 update.
(scroll the page down about 3 quarters of the way)
