Want to know if my laptop's driver is capable of something i will explain indetail

i make dvds and i  had bought a ton of dual layer DL blank ones. they seemed to of worked when i burned them but would not play back on the dvd player. they did however play back on my lap top. so maybe my question here is even reduandant and if so, i am appologizing in advance. when googling my issue, this is what i found. and i can't see on my drive or maybe i am not looking in the proper place to view it. i am assuming the la top "is" capable or why would it of burned it to be played back on my lap top? but not on the dvd? believe me, i have googled for months and found no good answer as well did anyone else i saw.
Burning Blank Double Layer DVDs
Burning or duplicating double layer DVDs is another matter. Currently, most computer DVD drives or component DVD recorders are not capable of burning or recording on double layers. This is true for duplicators as well. However, double layer capable drives and duplicators are available.
If you are unsure if your computer has a double layer (or dual layer) burning capable drive, first check the drive to see what the labels say. If it has a label with a DL, then it is probably double layer capable.

Hi,
You are saying it CAN burn DL dics and it CAN play burnt DL dics but other player(s) can't play ITS burnt dics. Which software do you use to burn DL dics ? Do you close or finalize/finalise the dics at the end of burning session (or sessions for multi sessions).  You need to close or finalise/finalize burning session(s) otherwise other player(s) can't see.
Regards.

    Tbh,  I really wouldn't bother.
I may get shot down here, but I like having storage centralised, backed up etc, so I would use the internal storage for the day to day stuff, and anything more dated, and large, then dump it on an external, with backup.
I've heard some horror stories about larger capacity drives getting over hot, and failing in some machines. Not macs particularly though.

hi...i want to know is apple laptops support microsoft products or components.

Word of warning.  You can't just buy any microsft product.  It has to be the Mac version, of which for Microsoft office there is one for
    WORD,
    EXCEL,
    POWERPOINT
There is no microsoft application for Mac for PUBLISHER, ACCESS or any others.
How does this take into account the availability of Windows 7 under Bootcamp?  I think your point is that there are native Mac versions of some Microsoft products available. However, any others would need to run under Windows 7 in Bootcamp (or one of the alternative Windows environments).

Yes, it will do a full backup.
and if so, do I really need all the old backups on my smaller external drive?
Only if you want to be able to go back in time to those previous Time Machine backups.  When you plug in the new larger external drive, you will only be able to go back as far as the first day you plugged it in and ran the first Time Machine backup on it.

  • I want to know when the Firefox 27.0 that's not beta version will releases on Windows.

I know the Firefix beta has been released for Windows on last week.
So in the futere, the Firefox beta version will be just Firefox. Do you understand about my saying? I'm sorry for my poor skill making grammer. But I would like to know the date that the Firefox 27.0 is officially released. Thank you for listen to me. I will wait for your answer.

Is the current version of Firefox 27.0.1 a "regular version" or is it still the beta version? I had a new operating system installed on February 13th, and the version downloaded was version 27. Only having one problem, and that is blocking one cookie. I have never used a beta version and only want the regular version.
Need to know if the version as of Feb. 13th is the regular version. I have no way of finding out which version it is. Thank you for any help with this question.

  • Want to know about my Notebook's Max Upgrade.

I want to know about my Laptop's Maximum Upgrade Capacity.
and can i upgrade my HDD from 1TB to 3TB ?
if i can then please give a WB Hardrives Suggestion.
and can i Add 2x8GB Ram of 1600 speed ?
    Thanks

It can take up to 16gb (2 x 8 gb) of DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM memory. Here is the Service Manual:
    Manual
See pages 47-51. Your hard drive and memory are easily accessible.
The laptop will accept the largest 2.5 inch wide 9.5 mm thick SATA laptop hard drive you can buy in the market which I believe is 2 terabytes right now.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6U12B97951
2 TB laptop drives are just not a good value in my opinion. They are slow, and very expensive.
You can also install an mSATA mSSD drive.

  • Upgrading laptop hard drive to solid state drive. (i am a noob)

So my laptop (HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC) was running slowly for around 6 months, i had enough so i went to the store and upgraded my ram from 4 gb to 8 gb thinking this would fix the problem but the guy told me that my hard drive was slow because it is dting, we talked about what i can do to fix the problem and he said that i should get a new hard drive, he told me that i should get a solid state drive as it fails dramatically less than a regular hard drive and is much faster. I just wanted to know what kind of hard drive i should get, as i dont want to buy an incompatible hard drive. Also if anyone could reference me to some good online stores that would be awesome, thanks for your time.

Yes the 500 will work fine. Just go to the second link in my post above, for the 250gig Samsung 840 Evo, and over to the right are links to get the 500 gig version and even the 750 and 1 TB. See the little gray boxes? The 500 gig is about $315.
Hard drive replacement instructions start on Page 54 of this Manual:

  • Might be getting a 5g iPod... want to know about videos...

    Hello everyone,
I just sent in my iPod Photo to get "fixed"by Apple and said "replacement sent" since Apple doesn't even sell iPod Photos anymore I might be getting an iPod Video...idk
Anyway, I wanted to know if I have about sixty videos in Quicktime .mov format will they work on the Video? (assuming that it works by itself)
I think I might not be able to and that it will only accept .avi...
If so is there a converter I can get to make my .mov videos into .avi ones for viewing on an 5g iPod?
Appreciate any help and will reward points,
    -TBird

I agree with Bryan. The probability is very high that your replacement iPod will be an iPod photo.
If you do get lucky and end up with the 5th Gen iPod, just read through the previous posts on this topic. Your question has been answered many times in these forums.

I had to do a factory restore on my laptop and I want to know how to get my original itunes account back?

Depending on which country that you are in then you might be able to re-download your purchases: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . Otherwise, have you not got a backup of your purchases and content on, for example, an external drive ?

by looking at the specs the laptop is better but if your not a gamer or graphics designer  then you most likly wont notice a difference in the performance at all so with that said a few downsides
the processor is i5 the i7 processor is the better processor the graphics card has half the dedicated memory that the laptop has and the hdd compared to the solid state is not much of a difference unless you wanna move your computer all the time you wont need a solid state drive
but like i said before if your not a gamer or graphics designer on your computer you will not notice the difference most likely

There are many apps in the App Store for transferring files between a computer and an iPhone using a cable, WiFi, or a cloud connection. Box and Dropbox cloud services are the easiest to use; I use Dropbox routinely to transfer business documents to our offices around the world.
Evernote is another widely used cloud service.
For local WiFi transfers there's Documents to Go, Airsharing, QuickOffice, and several dozen more. Documents to Go and QuickOffice also let you edit MS Word documents on the iPhone.
