First, i doubt you will get an authoritative answer. This is a user community. Yes it is hosted by BlackBerry, but it is for users to communicate and share. But here is some information.....
You may be protected by local laws, but then that would depend if the seller is subject to your local laws.
And you need to be clear when you say you bought from Amazon. Did you buy from a seller via Amazon, or was Amazon the seller. If Amazon was the seller then you have whatever support Amazon provides. If you bought from another seller then you have whatever support that seller provides, which might be nothing.

HT1040 trying to make an ibook and have 800 photos, want format of 8 photos/page, but default is not that- "create" the initial book from iphoto "album" it loads less than 800 pics and then when i change layout i have blanks.

if i clear the book so that it is all blanks and then try to load in the pictures i have it loses the chronology of the pictures that i had established in the album.
is there a way to import photos into an ibook template and keep the original order of the photos without having to do them one at a time?
also, is there a way to insert a photo rather than just dragging it? i have tried the cut and paste funciton but it doesn't seem to work, the target site doesn't seem to register with iphoto.

Photos are added to book in chronological order. So if you want to add them to a book in the order you have placed them manually in an album do the following:
1 - select all the photos in the album.
2 - use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option as shown here. Select any date and add 1 minute between photos.
3 - select just one photo from the album and create a book from it.
4 - in the book click on the Options button ➙ Book Settings button and make sure the checkbox for Auto-layout pages is unchecked.
5 - drag the album with your book photos onto the book icon and they will be imported into the Photos tray of the book in your pre-determined order but not into the pages themselves.

If you want to test whether the two files are the same, you can test for their complete filename (path + filename).
If you want to test whether the content of the two files are the same, you can convert the byteArrayOutputStream to Strings using .toString()method and test their equality. You can test for their size before the convertion to speed up the testing speed. E.g.

A VI that is being called Dynamically also has some controls that need to be updated on the calling VI . I was using globals and accessing them in this dynamic VI . Now this as expected works fine but when i have to open the dynamic VI just by itself it can not locate these globals and i have to point them to the appropriate location.i tired using refrences also somehow felt the response was much better and also the source code loooked neat.

You've brought up a very good point. I've converted all my apps so that
they call VIs dynamically. It's almost like a test executive. I think
that use of globals is fine as long as you use them so they will be
utilized in the app efficiently. The only time I use globals is to store
static data like references and constants. I typically write to them
once, at start-up.
Data management gets real fun in dynamically loaded VIs. I have what
could be called a data buffer server running in the background. Fresh
data is tagged and then dumped into a promiscuous buffer (queue) as a
variant. Tagging could mean a number of things: time stamp, UUT #, test
ype, status, etc. The buffer server sits around waiting for data to come
in. When it does receive data, it reads the tags and dumps them into
another buffer that's more specific to the kind of test data. These
secondary buffers have a predefined cap. When they are full, then the
data gets dumped, processed, and then stored to disk.
Sounds chaotic but it works great. By passing the data management to a
buffer server, I can let my daq VIs continue collecting data without
interruption.
Errors are handled by another buffer server. By using notifiers I can
tell my dynamic DAQ VIs which test I want to stop, pause, or restart. It's
also good to make a server that continually checks on the status of your
synchronization VIs (good for trouble shooting). I use rendezvous to
verify that VIs have trully finished and exited when I tell them to.

I'm developing a Smart Array (it's a request I cannot use a List of int that I know it's easier because I made both codes). I have done this class and below is the example of how I use it. The error is often in this line (153 from class):

The array that you're calling Monitor.Enter under is not always the same array that you call Monitor.Exit on. When you resize an array using Array.Resize, you pass the variable in as a reference parameter (ref). The method then creates a
new array object and assigns it to the array variable. Then, when you leave the synchronization block after resizing the array, your Monitor.Exit uses the new array rather than the one it originally entered
and... boom.
Instead of locking on the array itself, create a new private readonly field of type Object called "lock" within the SmartArray class and use that to lock on. It doesn't
need to be readonly, but the keyword will prevent you from accidentally introducing this issue again.

Actually it does because the Dock is Snow Leopard's program launcher. For Lion, LaunchPad is the program launcher, not the Dock. Don't like that? Here's where you complain. Otherwise, you asked and I answered.
