Want to make an iview invisible on click of a button!!!

Hi Experts,
We've a requirement wherein we want an iview to be called but it should not be visible on the left hand side navigation pane.
Actually, the iview has been assigned to a workset and is called as soon as the user clicks on the workset. Now after the ivew is called it appears on the left hand side navigation panel as well as since we are using a workset map iview within the workset the iview is visible in the content area as well.
I want that after the iview is called and the content is displayed. On click of a button, I want that iview to become invisible and the control should go to the next iview.
I know how to navigate from an iview to another iview but I don't know how to make the first iview invisible on click of a button.
Kindly suggest how can I acheive this functionality?

Yes., the new iview would be visible in the same window and the previous iview should not be present on the left hand side navigation panel.
Currently, since the iview is a part of a workset, on click of a button the user is navigated to the new iview but the previous iview is present on the navigation panel. Is there any way possible so that we can remove the previous iview from the left hand side detailed navigation panel when the user navigates to the new iview
Actually, we have a workset map iview and so all the iviews assigned to the worksets are available as links on the screen. After the user navigates to the new iview the previous iview's link should become invisible from the content area.
Is this possible to remove the previous iview's link from the content area and the navigation panel on the left hand side?

I am creating a form and there is a secion for 'Add a Dependent'. The form only show enough fields for one dependent. I have created a button that says 'Add a Dependent'. When the user clicks on this button I would like the section to show up again, asking for the information for the new dependent. Also, there will be a cancel button so that if they click on 'add a dependent' too many times, they can cancel each one individually if needed.The purpose for this is because it will take up much less space in the form. Can anyone help?

Here is what I did for making the Subform repeat..
Selected the Dependants subform and went to the Binding tab, checked the cehckbox "Repeat Subform each Data Item"..
Placed the below code in the click event of the Add Dependant button.
     Dependants.instanceManager.addInstance(1);
Placed the below code in the Click event of the "X" button:
          if
(this.parent.index>0)
          Registration.content.Dependants.instanceManager.removeInstance(this.parent.index);
Placed the below code in the Initialize event of the "X" button:
     if(this.parent.index==0)
          this.presence = "hidden";

Does anyone else have the problem of clicking on something, say, for instance the red light, and then getting a little box of writing which obscures the red light so that nothing happens. I am getting terribly bored with this problem. It happens over and over again and then eventually I click again and the box with writing goes away and I can clcik the red light. Difficult to explain.

How to make some nodes invisible?

I don't know if the nodes can be made invisible. But if you make cell renderer then you can evaluate the value before displaying it. If value is like 'datatype', you display (cell renderer displays) nothing as value in the cell.

However, after about 5 seconds it stops and says "ITunes could not connect to the IPod software server". I found the apple webpage that is supposed to help me, but when i went to the LAN settings in the control panel i found that 'Automatically detect settings" was already checked. I do not know what to do, Please help.

If yo mean the iPod will not connect to your wifi network:
Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Do other devices now connect?

- Power off and then back on the router

Adobe reader opens "save as" box when clicking on save button rather than saving in the same file

Hi everybody,
I have a fillable PDF form designed in Livecycle designer and it is reader extended. When I fill that form on MAC it let me fill and save the form as many times as I like. Everytime I make any change I just click the save button it saves changes in the same form. BUT is is behaving differently on Windows. After filling the form out when I click on save button it opens up "Save as " dialogue box to save a new copy with those changes. I have Adobe reader XI and Adobe Acrobat XI installed on windows. I know I can do that with Acrobat but I want that in reader for users who dont have acrobat.

To display region on a click of a button

I want to display a region on a click of a button which is in another region.I want when i click that button region containing button should get disappear and another region should get appear.when next time i open that page
region containing button should appear first.
second, i want to insert a check constraint on a field called mailid,that at time of inserting data in it ,it should contain '@'sign,if not a message should get displayed.

To validate your mail ID you could work with database constraints. However in order to customize your error message, I'd recommend using HTML DB validations, see the HTML DB documentation, chapter 7 for more information on how to work with validations:

Unable to go back to where I ieft off after clicking the back button

When I browse photos in Smugmug, after selecting the gallery I want, when I am finished and I click the back button it takes me back to the beginning of the galleries and not where I selected the last gallery or photo. IE and chrome don't do this.

Let me see if I can make this more clear. In Smugmug I browse galleries and scroll down a page until I see a gallery I want to look at. I may have scrolled down past several hundred galleries before I select a gallery to look at, so I am quite a ways down. Anyway I select the gallery and it opens and I browse all the photos. When I am finished I go to the top and click the back button. If I am using IE it takes me back to the point where I selected the gallery I looked at. However, in firefox if I click the back button it takes me back to the beginning of the gallery and I have to scroll thru all the galleries again and find where I left off.

If you want to use JInternalFrame then you have
JDesktopPane. you add all the internal frames in JDesktopPane.
while JDesktopPane is added in the main JFrame.
something like this
JFrame mainFrame=new JFrame("main Frame");
JDektopPane desktopPane=new JDesktopPane();
mainFrame.getContentPane().add(desktopPane);
JInternalFrame iFrame=new JInternalFrame();
/....your logic and iFrame settings.
desktopPane.add(iFrame);--
As per buttons, I think those buttons are the buttons added in JToolbar

ClosingWindow by clicking on a Button

I have created a Window with to Buttons "A" & "B". How can I make sure that when I click on the button "A" that a new Window opens and the window where "A" is in Closes. And when I click "B" the window closes, like a cancel button for example.
Who can give me a tip to solve this problem.

Add an ActionListener to your buttons and in the actionPerformed method see which button was pressed and do the stuff.

Issue of data getting wiped out when user clicks on back button..

I have a selection program which displays ALV on execution. Now I have programmed the "Back" Button of standard toolbar so that when comeone clicks on it, it should leave to selection screen.
WHEN 'TBACK'.
LEAVE TO TRANSACTION SY-TCODE.
But when I do that, the values entered by user during execution of selection screen wipes out and all the selection fields become empty. How can I make sure that when sure clicks on 'Back' button, the selectiuon screen is presented but with values in which user put during execution.

Leave to transaction sy-tcode is as as good as call transaction...so basically using this statement will start the transaction afresh..and give a new selection screen....
Better option would be to leave to screen 0 (preferaby used for a report )which will take you back to the previous screen processed or leave to screen XXXX for a particular screen( in case of a module pool )

Your Question:
onclick button should be visible and on second click it should become invisible.
Answer:
In your View
1.Add Two button using Apply Template--actionButton
So two buttons will get added to the view
2.Create an attribute in View Context say buttonset of type com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.Visibility
Bind the visible property of second button to buttonset attribute
This attribute is to set visibility
Also create a booloean attribute bool in the View context
3.In DoInit method
wdContext.currentContextElement().setBool(true);
So that both buttons are visible in View initially
4.In First button event handler onActionButton()
call second button eventhandler onActionButton_0()
public void onActionButton(com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.api.IWDCustomEvent wdEvent )
    //@@begin onActionButton(ServerEvent)
       onActionButton_0(wdEvent);
    //@@end
Here onActionButton_0() is like one method which is actually making second button visible or invisible based on boolean value bool=true /bool=false
5. Write the following code in onActionButton_0() to perform the actual action
