Want to modify my Zire 31... help?

hi everybody, i have here a old palm zire 31, and i had liked running the LJP emulator on it, but found that it didnt have enough ram to emulate some consoles, now that the battery has died, and i have already gotten a replacement, i figured maybe i should imporve the performance while i had it apart.
i noticed that there is actually two ram chips, a long one and a smaller one, both seem to be SDRAM chips, so this doesnt help.
I also know that if the battery is disconnected the added data on the internal memory is lost, so that means one of these chips is the memory chip, while the other is the ram chip.
The problem isnt that i cant switch out the old chip for a new one, its that i dont know which is which, i already have a 64mb ram chip thats the same build as the smaller chip, but is the smaller chip really the ram chip?
the smaller chip is branded as "MX", while the larger one is Samsung.
please, if anyone knows which chip is for what i would be extremely grateful!

There's a chance that BT have not enabled QoS - used for Vision
When you get chance run a test using http://speedtester.bt.com/
IF THE ABOVE PAGE WON'T LOAD (as I've just tried and it still won't load) use http://217.32.105.42/ instead.
You should get 2 results - your current speed and an assured rate test (QoS).
