Want to move iLife '11 from my new MacBook Air to my old MacBook Pro

I received my new laptop the MacBook Air with min config and with the minimum performance and capacity I intend to remove iLife 11' from it and look into other means to slim down the footprint of the default installation.
Now am I at right to install this iLife 11 onto my old MacBookPro which is being decommissioned to a deskjob? So it remains a single installation in essence (I won't be doing any photo and video editing on the MBA) If so how would I go about it?

Correct. These disks are specific to the model on the label.

No. You could simply purchase the app you want on the app store.

I spend a lot of time in a location far from home. I bought a new MacPro 12 core to use at home and took the old 4 core to the alternate location. I figured I could just take my hard drives back and forth instead of schlepping a whole MacPro. The 12 core has a SSD drive to boot from and a 2 TB storage drive for photo files. It came with Mountain Lion (10.8.2). At the new location the 4 core does not find the SSD and won't boot. Grey screen. If I take the SSD out I can boot with the 2TB drive but it boots in OSX 10.6.8. I can get by with that workaround, but I'd like to use the SSD if I can because PhotoShop runs a lot faster from it.
The SSD does not show up in Finder or Disk Utility when the computer is booted up with the 2TB drive.
What do I need to do?

You can install a new Mac OS X image, such as "Full Retail" 10.6.3 off a DVD in under an hour, and have it up to date and ready for production in only a little more time.
Or you could clone 10.6.8 onto the SSD (from the other Hard Drive that does boot) in about a quarter hour.

Also, there's no need to find the original disk for installation. Just download the latest update of your purchased version from here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ and user your original serial number.

Your Lightroom License key is,
1. Cross platform Mac and or Win.
2. It is a single user / owner.
3. You can have two installations active with one in use at any point in time.
4. There is no deactivate process like other Photoshop products.
5. You can uninstall / install as many times as you need as long as you keep the spirit of the license.
6. The license key is specific to the Lightroom version, i.e License key for LR 4 will not work for LR 5.
7. You can upgrade i.e. purchase from any version of Lightroom 1,2,3,4 to the latest LR 5.

I want to move my library from one account to another, it is also on a different computer. How can I do this?

I want to move my library from one account to another. However, when I try to sync th old account it is not syncing to my iphone or exporting out. How can I do this? Someone told me that it may be set to WiFi but it was not. My libray is sitting there but I can get it out. Mean while I have changed accounts and down loading to the iphone on my new account (and changing computers as well) How do I make this work so I can get my Library to sync to my iphone or export it from the old account. Is there anyway to move my library from one accont to another from the itunes side?

Media is permanently tied to whatever account was used to purchase it. There is currently no possible way to change the account it is tied to.

A simple Paste does not work for you?
It should place the clipboard content as a new Layer which you can then move around.
If there is any chance that the elements need to be scaled, rotated etc. I would prefer to place them as Smart Objects (File > Place …) and do the masking that is specific to the images themselves in those.

AFAIK, Garageband is part of the iLife 11 suite, so you either need to move all or none of it. And, the SLA mentions specifically that it can only be installed on one Mac at a time - that is for the regularly purchased (or included with the system) disks. If you purchased it at the App store separately, then you should be able to have it on more than one computer. See this SLA excerpt:
2. Permitted License Uses and Restrictions.
A. Single Use. The Apple Software is being licensed to you as a bundle and allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on a single Apple-labeledcomputer at a time. This License does not allow the Apple Software to exist on more than one Apple-labeled computer at a time, and you may not make theApple Software available over a network where it could be used by multiple computers at the same time. at general part look bottom there is "save to where"( or likr this) part. I think your files are downloaded there.

Have you copied your iTunes library over to your new computer? Either way, you'll need to restore the iPod using the new iTunes library in order to sync it with the new library.

Please do not do this.
The Time Capsule was designed for your backups.....not as an everyday hard drive. Access to the Time Capsule is slow.
If there is any loss of connection between iPhoto and the iPhoto library when you are reading or writing, the entire iPhoto library is easily corrupted.
The chances of corruption are even more likely if you are using wireless on the computer.
And....even if you decide to risk this....if you move your "original" iPhoto library to the Time Capsule.....how will you make backups of the library?
The only copy of the library will be on the Time Capsule....you have no backups.....when, not if, the Time Capsule has a problem.
Simply stated, I would never do this with any important data that you cannot afford to lose. Please post in the iPhoto support area if you need to confirm this.

You should be able to copy the apps (and any other iTunes purchases) over to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. And as long as apps remain available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to purchase them, you should be able to re-download them in the future : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
If you are already on iOS 5+ on your iPad then you should be able to update the iPad directly on the iPad via Settings > General > Software Update .
