I need to download lightroom 4 for MAC however it keeps directing me to buy lightroom 5 and my MAC software does not support the newer version. How do I purchase lightroom 4?

You will have to find somebody with a copy left in stock or buy a copy second hand. It is no longer sold new by Adobe.

If you created a new Apple ID, you have to purchase the app again. If you can still use the old ID, then you can download it again for free by using that ID. Apple doesn't sell iWork that way anymore.
You have to get it from the Mac App Store if you want to purchase from Apple, or purchase a disk from a software retailler like Amazon. They're quite cheap online now.
If you do purchase an iWork '09 disk, you will need to trash the trial copy and any plist files it has generated before you install it.

Are you currently working on a tryout of Premiere Elements 12 downloaded from Adobe?
If so, you do not have to buy from Adobe. You can purchase the version from an authorized reseller of
the product.
At that point, you can leave the 12 tryout installed and just install your purchased serial number from
the authorized reseller or uninstall the tryout and just install the purchased product with its serial number.
When you open a tryout 12 project file (with Adobe watermark) in a purchased Premiere Elements 12, the
Adobe watermark should disappear
a. if you use Timeline/Delete Rendered Files
or
b. do nothing...so of us have found that just opening the tryout file in a purchased product removes the Adobe
watermark automatically.

Are you talking about the Adobe watermark? You will not lose the projects, but whether or not the Adobe watermark
is removed in a purchased version which is not the version in which it was created is of concern.

Well you can sync your iPod/iPhone to yur computer or laptop then take the photos off of your iPod like taking photos of of a SD card (from a normal camera) or off of a USB..! Good Luck. plz tick this saying This solved my question if it helps you.

It's not silly , but I'm assuming you're referring to a cloud offer. If so, if you'd looked in the terms of use, you'd have seen that you can install your software on two separate computers as long as it's only used by one person, and activated with the same Adobe ID. So you can put it on your present computer, and then install a copy on the new one when you get it.

Good question. I supsect you'll have to find and delete whatever preference file stores the illegal (if that's the correct term) serial number. Then it will ask you to re-enter next launch. So you probably don't have to reinstall the entire app not that it's a big deal. And if you actually purchase a license, well you could probably just keep working but to follow the letter of the law, delete that file (not sure where it resides, depends on the OS), then enter the purchased serial.

I have Captivate 7 purchased (with serial number) and wanted to just re-download it since my Windows 8.1 computer wiped everything out a few months ago. I cannot find the link anywhere, so I decided to download a free trial of Captivate 8 instead. Is there any way I can upgrade to Captivate 8 without having to re-purchase the entire program for hundreds of dollars? I only want to pay a difference in price.

Unless it is made available by the license holder / distributor in your country's store then you can't purchase it from Apple - you could try requesting that it be made available (http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html), or you could see whether it's available for purchase on other music purchase sites e.g. Amazon etc.
