hi , can anyone help an inexperienced user of PSE9
I have a rectangular photo and want to make one vertical side curved.
How do I do it ?

Open your photo in Full edit
Select the cookie cutter tool
Click the drop down menu and the right pop out menu
Choose shapes and select something like the half crescent shape
Click inside your image and use the corner handles to drag out into position
Click the checkmark to commit, then crop and save

Set you 2nd iPad from your 1st iPad. If you have your music in your iTunes library, it's easier as you can set it up as a new device and then go to music>sync all music.
Once you set up you 2nd iPad from your 1st one, if you want do not want the other setting to be synced, turn it off. For example, in apps, uncheck everything and you can get rid of them.

You can see the DNS server being used in Settings > WiFi. Touch the "i" to the right of the network name and look at the DNS section.

I'm sure this is something that's been covered in another post (or even in the help portal) but I think my wording in my search terms are not correct or... I don't know, because I just can't find what I'm looking for.

Feathering Images (one side only)

I am trying to feather an image on one side only.
But appears that feathering can only be applied to the entire perimiter of an image.
Does anyone know a way to fix this.
I want to feather just the top of an image so it will blend into the background.

I can't figure out the Keynote title option. I'm a newbie so forgive my ignorance. I want to put an image in the swing arm, but I can't figure it out.

I even tried opening in Motion and inserting it there, but when I bring it back to fc it's not there. I also want to change the background to an image or at least solid white. When I put an image in the Dropzone it doesn't show up. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

To change the title background to use a clip in the drop zone, do just as Jim said.
Also, place the clip that want to appear in the "swing arm" right below the title in the timeline.

Open the picture file, go to Image>resize>image size. Read what the resolution is in px/in, write it down, do nothing else here at this time
Go to File>new>blank file, Enter the dimensions , resolution the same value that you wrote down in step #1, background color to suit, ok it.
Go back to the picture file, go to Select>all, go to Edit>copy to put it on the clipboard
Go back to the blank file, go to Edit>paste
Get the move tool out of the toolbox, position the picture, and resize with the corner handles of the bounding box, if necessary..
Note: For printing, the rule of thumb is that the resolution be in the 240-300px/in range, although I have had good results below this value. For web work, 72 px/in is ok.

I bought a DVD movie and want to put it on my Pearl and Curve

I have a 1 GB media card on my Pearl and want to put a movie onto it. I also have a curve with a 4 GB media card and also want to put a movie onto it. The movie is on a DVD and I have no idea what to do.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
You can load hook you PC directly to the PC and the media card will show as a flash drive.
You can then load files directly to the media card. I suggest you use the 4gb card.
make sure you use the correct Blackberry file structure:
Blackberry
Music
pictures
ringtones
videos
Voicenotes
You will also be concerned with DRM (digital rights management) on the DVC which will not allow you
to play it on the Blackberry. Google the net to find a program that will strip the DRM from the file.
Here are come considerations for video on the Blackberry.

I think that may be a consequence of the email provider she is using. Some services (AOL is one example) inspect and modify email attachments, particularly photos, resulting in reduced resolution compared to the email that was sent.
The iPod does not do this. The resolution of the picture in the email she receives will be identical to what is imported.

Unless you have a version with multiple serial numbers provided then you cannot install it on other computers. Otherwise, use the installer on the DVD or downloaded disc image. Register each installation with one of the additional serial numbers received with your original purchase.

I seldom ran across a question to which I could offer an abridged answer. Sorry about that.
There is an assortment of miscellaneous information to guide your path as to what you can and cannot do with regard to a Premiere Elements DVD Template that represent the Main Menu and Scene Menu set. The number and kind of menu markers that you place on the Timeline are linked to the Menus - Main Menu or Scene Menu depending whether you have placed a Main Menu Marker or Scene Marker on the Timeline. Again, do not put a Stop Marker at the end of the last file on the Timeline.
Each movie (in your case album) cannot have its own Scene Selection page or pages. All the Timeline scene markers representation found on the Scene Selection page or pages is there in the order that each was placed on the Timeline. There is a limited amount of space under each scene thumbnail, and you do want to avoid button overlap.
Each main menu and scene menu that came with the program is designed with a certain number of buttons per page (Main Menu page or Scene Selection page). When the number of Timeline markers exceed the number of designed in buttons per page, the buttons spill over to additional pages (each a copy of the first).
Most Main Menu pages come with Play All button, Scene Selection button, and some with Main Menu or Bonus Movie button. Most are text type buttons, fewer are thumbnail type buttons for this Main Menu. You see the thumbnail type buttons in the Scene Selection Page, and typically the maximum number there is about 6, may goes to 8 in some rare instances.
Once you introduce Stop Markers to separate the multi movie type setup, your Play Movie (Play All) button on the Main Menu is meaningless. And, the reminder, two menu markers cannot occupy the same spot on the Timeline.
Important to the project are the pixel dimensions of the photos and the duration of the content. If you are heading for DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc Standard or Widescreen, the pixel dimensions should not exceed 1000 x 750 pixel (landscape) – classical recommendation here and elsewhere. Greater than that typically does not accomplish much other than stressing out the program. The level of computer resources can often dictate whether the program stress will set in sooner or later. That 1000 x 750 which is not written in stone is close enough to the export standard and will leave some room for pans and zooms if needed. Look to the Premiere Elements burn dialog prior to burn to and look at the Quality Section’s values for Space Required and Bitrate. The DVD-R 4.7 GB/120 min is in reality 4.3 GB and the “for best results” classical recommendation is not to exceed 90 minutes for this type of disc. There is also the DVD double layer disc 8.5 GB (really 7.3 GB)/240 minutes to think about.
How does this all impact what you outlined for what you would like to do? Many thoughts on that, but for starters:
Are your photos sized properly for a NTSC or PAL DV Standard or Widescreen project? Are you heading for NTSC or PAL DVD-VIDEO Standard or Widescreen? Are you considering Blu-ray disc format on Blu-ray disc in this regard for your Premiere Elements project.
How many albums do you envision in each of your planned DVD discs. I suspect the number is going to be in excess of 6 or 8. Here some of the considerations might be:
…switch the names of the .psd files for the main and scene menu (just the names) so that you can take advantage of the larger number of scene buttons on an already designed Scene Menu. The Timeline markers are Main Menu Markers in this instance, no Scene Markers. Result: One page Main Menu with thumbnails there displaying the first photo in each album.
…editing the .psd file for a DVD Template to add more buttons to the design. That requires strict adherence to requirements for doing that, including editing with Photoshop CS and later or a version of Photoshop Elements that will open the Layer Groups of the .psd so that you can get at the Folders and Files that you need to modify/duplicate and the like.
If you wanted text buttons instead of thumbnail buttons, you could look at a DVD Menu such as Faux Widescreen Main Menu Page and customizing that.
Not sure if long trip descriptions (text) would be feasible. I can offer a how to for creating a page for information before the main menu (like those FBI notices) if you thought that might be appropriate for any overview trip descriptions per disk. Lots of details, Lots of choices, but often with limitations and special considerations if you are restricted to what comes as is with the program.
Please review the above and then we could fine tune with more specifics.

I'm sure I've done this before but I just can't remember how.
What I want to do is have an image with text over the top of it.
However, the image can not be a background image because it needs
to print. How do I do this?

There's no way that's really pretty. The easiest and most
expedient, if
it's not too much text, is to make it part of the image. Make
sure you
include the text in the alt attribute... Other than that, if
you're
using positioned divs, you can put the image in one div,
duplicate it,
give the duplicate a higher z-index, and put the text in the
higher z-
index div. Or if it's really an issue (does the background
/have/ to
print?) is to make it as a PDF.

Want to put 2 pages on one sheet

I have copied a camera manual as a .pdf file. The pages are small enough that I want to put two pages on one 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. When I have only one page per sheet, the image on the screen and on the printed page are full size. I can get two pages on one sheet: HOWEVER,the size of each printed page shrinks. The print is small and very hard to read, both on the screen and on the printed page.
I am new to Acrobat and there is probably an easy solution. I have tried a number of things with no success.
How do I keep each page full size when merging two pages?

Not necessarily the cleanest, but you can print to a new PDF file. In the printer properties, select the page size, and multi-up option. You might also find that on the pdf printer menu (at least I have that on my AA8.1.2). You may still have to select the paper size, since it is different from the original.
