Want to remove the voice option reading out words in sms messaging....please help

When i type an sms on my iphone 4, once the word is complete a voice reads the word out loud. How do I turn this feature off? Cheers Jen

I want to remove the Save option and only have Save As available

I have a form I downloaded that only has Save As as an option when saving. Save is greyed out. My form has Save and when I use it, I get a message that says "the document could not be saved. The file may be read-only..."

Not that I know of.
Just tell her the X can't be removed.
The customer isn't always right.
Can you think of any window in any other program that doesn't have an X button to it? I can't think of an instance. I can't think of any place besides LabVIEW that can have an X button that can't be clicked.
Is there a reason you do not want them to click the X button? You can use an event structure to catch a Panel Close? event for the VI and discard the event so you can run your own code such as ensuring a clean and orderly shutdown of the VI.

I have a viewCriteriaItem bound to an LOV. This item is enabled for multiselection in search form (by checking the Support Multiple value selection in ViewCriteria UI hint).

Cocd validation - ON & Grayed out - want to remove the flag - OKKP

i have created a controlling area ex AAAA and assigned couple of company codes to it.
the setting in OKKP is of cross company code.
and i have activated the components as well.
How ever, i noticed now that 'cocd validation' is ticked ON and the field is grayed out. All the other fields are open except the two check boxes 1) all currencies & 2) cocd validation
i want to remove the flag for cocd validation and i cannot do it.
there are no postings done yet, this is still in development system only.

I have iPhoto version 9.1.5 (615)

I want to do this because when I imported from my old hard drive there was an error message stating that 12 photos were not imported as the programm did not recognise the format even though they were jpegs like the other photos in that particular album. The dates of the photo folders are wrong I have multiple copies of photos and every time I start iPhoto I get the following message 12 photos have been found in the iPhoto library that were not imported would you like to import them No or Yes
if you press Yes the same message comes back again and if you press Yes again the program flicks to last import for 2 seconds and then opens events.
if you press No the message The photos have been placed in the folder/user/judith/pictures/iphoto Library recovered photos then if you press OK the original message 12 photos have been found.............
if you press No at this point the message The photos have been placed in the folder/user /judith/pictures/iphoto Library recovered photos_11 the end number goes up by 1 every time you go through this process

Did you import an iPhoto Library from the old Hard Drive? Do you still have that old Library?
The way to clear out a Library is to Export the photos - Apps like iPhoto2Disk or PhotoShare will help you export to a Folder tree matching your Events.
For the annoying start-up message:
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Import' or 'Importing'.
Drag it to the Desktop. *Make no other changes*.
Start iPhoto. Does that help?
If it does then look inside that folder on your desktop. Does it contain anything you want? If not you can trash the folder.

It's almost impossible. The new iMacs have a Target Display Mode, but it's built to do that. Without ripping your screen out, finding an acceptable power supply, frame, and whatever electronics to convert a Thunderbolt signal to the screen, the cost will be much larger than buying a cheaper HiDef monitor that runs with an HDMI to Thunderbolt cable to your MacBook 15. In fact, you can sell your 17" MBP for a lot of money, unless it's broken or something, buying you a really sweet monitor.

Another poster said that if you sign out of your iTunes Store account, go to the item you wish to gift, and select "gift" and go through the purchase process, it will then ask you for your account information and send the gift. I haven't tried this myself, but it's worth a go.

If you're not familiar with HTML make sure you create a backup of the html in a text editor before editing, that way you can replace it later if you need to.
What you want to do is go into the
Site settings > Module templates > News Layouts > Detail layout.
Click the html tab bottom of the editing window.
Remove the comment form div code which should look like this: starting with <div class="comment-form"> and ending with </div>

If you delete the wrong code, restore from the backup copy.

How can I safely do this on Solaris? I've tried "iasdeploy removeapp" and "iasdeploy removemodule" with no luck. I want to clear all of this demo stuff out to make both the web and app server look more production like.

these applications are applogics which are not controlled by the
iasdeploy tool. Unfortunately, there is no tool available to remove
these applications for you. What you can do is to manually remove all
their entries, but be careful if you do that. If you remove the wrong
keys you might break your ias installation, so be warned and make sure
you backup the whole ias registry before attempting to remove anything.
