Want to revert back to 3.6 without losing all my bookmarks etc, can it be done?
I do not like the new interface, Yes I have read the forum and tried moving things around. Just do not like 4 and want to revert to 3 or I hate to say it but if i am stuck with 4 looks like its back to the piece of &^%^ IE
If you do not like the new appearance of Firefox 4 then you can change some setting to restore the Firefox 3 appearance.
You can right click the orange Firefox button to open the toolbar menu or use (F10) View > Toolbars.
Click the Menu Bar entry to make the Menu Bar visible.
Click "Tabs on Top" to remove the check mark and place the Tab Bar at its original position just above the browser window.

Launch iTunes with the Option key held down, click on Choose Library, and specify it. If the external drive doesn't contain the iTunes database files, create a new library there and import that music.

You won't lose data, if you've been backing up your ipad on a regular basis.

Can't open because "nss3.dll not found"...how do I reload mozilla WITHOUT losing all my bookmarks?

Do a clean (re-)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Firefox 3.6.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Do not remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox. -
I was following directions on a mac board on how to share my iTunes library with my kids accounts on my computer. I must have not followed the directions correctly, as now I can not listen to any music on any account including the admin. I don't remember where I got the instructions or what I did to reverse the things that I moved. How do I restore my ability to listen to all the music that I have without re-aquiring it?
And then how do I get it so that I can share with the other accounts on my computer?
thanksWithout knowing what changes you made it's impossible to say what you can do to fix it, but I would suggest checking two things in the Preferences menu: first, under the Parental Controls, make sure you haven't disabled any of the areas that won't play; second, go into the Sharing area and uncheck the "Share library on my local network" box, then go back to the main library and see if the songs will play.

Sorry but Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support covers all of the methods. Any chance that you had it set to automatically back up to iCloud and/or sync contacts to iCloud?
You can check on whether the contacts were synced by logging in to https://www.icloud.com/ and looking at the Contacts app there.
The "Delete Backups and turn off backups from your device" in the following link describes how you can use a computer to see if there is an iCloud backup of your phone. Follow those instructions to the point of seeing if the backup is listed but obviously you don't follow the rest of the instructions on how to delete. Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support -

Also, you would never have to lose your warranty, you can reach out to our Regional Support Office and they can revert the software back (by you visiting an office, or mailing the phone in). -
I recently installed the trial version of Adobe XI and the trial period ended, so I wanted to revert back to the version I already had. I did not see any uninstall feature and my old version was apparently replaced by the trial version. I cannot re-install a previous version b/c I need both a product Id (GOd only knows where that is now) and a way to uninstall the trial. Any ideas?
When you installed the trial, there should have been an option to have ignored your current installation and leave it. Apparently you skipped that case. To uninstall the trial (in Windows) go to Control Panel>Programs & Features and select the Acrobat XI and choose uninstall. After the uninstall run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html to clean up your system. HOWEVER, if you see your old Acrobat in that window, do not run the cleaner, but do a repair on the old version.
You did not mention the old version you had. You might try from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. As for the S/N, you should have register and if so you can get it from Adobe. The instructions are at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload.
Be sure to backup any download of the old installer and the S/N to CD or backup HD for future use. They will not likely continue to be available. -

There isn't any way to have a 6 digit numerical password -- as you already found. With the amount of password hacking going on currently, I suspect that if you were able to change it back you would be putting your account at a significant risk. I too, want to restore to my older version of Firefox after upgrading to version 4. Thank you for posting this with a link to the older version. Just for your information, the reason I want to restore the older version is because the new version is not usable with my version of Zoom text (9.11). It is so incompatible that I had to use IE in order to see the screen well enough to search for a way to revert to my older version. I also was unable to read web pages, enter data in the URL or Search windows or select menu options. . Often, when using version 4 big black blocks will appear where ever the cursor is, the menus will appear in different sizes and when I move the mouse to select a menu item the menu will jump to a new location. In short it doesn’t work at all with Zoomtext!
Really I wish you would have warned us of how different this version is and it might have been a good idea to review potential problems before upgrading. That really would have been the nice and polite thing to do! I'm visually impaired and having to search for a solution and then having to go about the un-install and re-install process is time consuming and difficult for me. And again, it was so bad that I had to use IE to even be able to read this webpage, enter this reply, or to get to this solution. -
