Want to Show Change in Rank from Week to Week

I run a softball leage that has 26 teams and send out standings weekly. Next to the teams name, I want to be able to show if they gained or dropped in the ranking from where they were the previous week. Is there a function within Numbers that will calculate that for me

D2=B2−C2
this is shorthand for... select cell D2 and type (or copy and paste from here) the formula:
=B2−C2
then type return
now select B2, then open the cell formatter and apply conditional formatting like this:
now select D2, copy, select the column by clicking the "D" at the very top (the column header), then hold the command key and click cell D1 (to unselect), paste

Hi
I imported company holidays into the calendar of about 40 users. I did it using a pst with the corresponding holidays, and I imported this pst using new-mailboximportrequest.
Now all users reported, that their calendar view has changed the view from week to list. I need to change this view back from list to week, but if possible without user interaction. Is there a possibility?

In which calendar view did you create the holidays pst?
What if we import the pst from Outlook side, will it still show in the List view?
Meanwhile, please try to create a new holidays pst file and make sure it in the week view before you export it into a pst, and then test the issue again.
Please let me know the result.

To show previous 12 months from current month.

I have one column Time.Month (Char column) with values in the format 2011 / 09. In my report i want to show previous 12 months from the current month. I dont have any date prompts in my report. Pls help.

Use the below query in init block to create a repository variable as PREVIOUS_12_MONTH

Create a filter in Answers as below and use where ever you wish:
Month is between PREVIOUS_12_MONTH and PREVIOUS_MONTH
Use it in the report with current month Or previous month as per your requirements.

Are you sure you want to change the extension from... BLOCKS Finder Editing

This is weird and is driving me nuts, but some Macs do not allow further Finder editing of file or folder names if I change their names (usually including numbers, dots and so on) in such a way that I receive the warning:
Are you sure you want to change the extension from..?
After I confirm that I want to change the name, the Finder does it but gets locked for editing (I can do other things) and does not allow any further file or folder editing until I force quit of Finder or reboot the Mac.
I have found that if right after confirming that I want to change the name I select the file and hit return (which selects its name), no problem arises. But I must do it in one or two seconds, or else it will be too late.
IN SUMMARY:
1. Change file or folder name including numbers and dots at the end.
2. Get the message "Are you sure you want to change the extension from..."
3. Confirm that I want to change the name.
4. FROM NOW ON, I CANNOT CHANGE THE NAME OF ANY FILE OR FOLDER UNTIL I FORCE FINDER QUIT. Unless of course I do the trick indicated above real quick!
Any hint? Any way to know what is going on? This could be a bug of Mac OS X 10.4.x or earlier or a problem with a third party application. But how to know what is going on to prevent it? As said, some Macs show this issue, but not others.

Hint: some file or folder name changes are more prone to cause the issue than others. For instance, renaming a folder (and confirming it) as:
Testing.r00
brings the bug 100% of the times.

The message is a warning that you are doing something that the OS thinks is going to possibly cause a problem. You are creating the situation and the OS is doing nothing other than what you are asking it to do.
I don't know any exact answer why you can't access your files, but I do know that there are a few characters and things that will cause problems because they mimic names of invisible files. When you make a name that is close to being the same it can treat the file as the special one... meaning you can only access it via Terminal.
Ones you cannot use at all: the colon (:), slash (/), single or double period as first characters. (taken from Finder Help with a naming files search) It is best to stay away from any special characters as a rule. Also avoid using a period and 3 character suffix unless it is one that you are purposefully assigning so the file belongs to an application.
That said... even with the over 200 applications on my system I couldn't repeat your Testing.r00 problem. So, I don't know if it may be application related or not.

"setup wants to make changes" keeps popping up stopping installation from starting

having trouble installing a trial of Adobe Premiere, every time i try to start the installation a security popup window appears saying:
"Setup wants to make changes. type your password to allow this"
i enter my password, box goes away, then reappears.
Im definitely entering password correctly as it says i don't if i don't!
my account is Admin, have tried the other account on the mac, have tried creating a new account, tried numerous restarts, tried downloading a different trial.
Same problem!!!
please help as i can find nothing in my searches... which suggests this isn't a common problem i was expecting it to be!

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

The app Week Cal HD was the perfect calendar until Apple removed it so could they please offer the same facilities that it offered.

You would have to delete the existing iCloud account and create a wholly new one - you cannot change the @icloud.com email address of the one you already have. To make a new one, you will also need an new AppleID as any AppleID can only have one iCloud account associated with it.
Deleting the account will not delete anything off your device (if prompted for things like contacts, choose to keep them). You will have to sync everything anew with the new account as you cannot move your sync'd content, your old backups or anything else from one iCloud account to another. You will have to set up sync again and let it sync to the new account, and then make new backups to the new account as well.

You cannot import contacts from your Nano to your PC via iTunes. The syncing process is only one way. However, if you enable disk mode on your iPod, open it up in a Windows Explorer window, you should see a Contacts folder. From there you can copy them back over to your PC.
Even though this article is talking about adding contacts to the PC, it should walk you through some of the steps mentioned above.

go to settings -> phone -> my number (iput your phone number)
and then do what razmee209 said,
after you change it, your phone number will authenticate with the operator that you use,

If you already have a license for photoshop cs6, why do you want photoshop cs2?
You can just install photoshop cs6 on your new computer provided both operating systems are the same kind (both mac or both windows)
If you don't have an install dvd for cs6, you can download photoshop cs6 from here and use your serial:

Tbh, I really wouldn't bother.
I may get shot down here, but I like having storage centralised, backed up etc, so I would use the internal storage for the day to day stuff, and anything more dated, and large, then dump it on an external, with backup.
I've heard some horror stories about larger capacity drives getting over hot, and failing in some machines. Not macs particularly though.
