Hi Experts,
Want to Take Backup Of Programs Done in ECC6 IDES Server like, Fico related Company Code,Configuration.... Abap Realted Programs....I Did my Practice in client 800 in IDES ECC6.
My Moto, Here is to Format the old server and Install new server, where as I can Move the same Fico related Company Code,Configuration.... Abap Realted Programs. from old server Backup to the new Freshly installed server.
I tried to move through request, but here only Abap programs are only Possible .
Please Suggest me the Path To proceed...

If you planing to build the same system.. why you trying to uninstall & install..
anyways you can do a client export & then restore of that 800 client.
or DB backup & restore iis more recommended.
Make sure you arnot changing any drives are file system , it makes the process would be smooth for DB restore & Backup.

You can use below methods..
RFC connections
For releases < 6.10 SE01 -> create -> workbench req (next popup screen Fill in the BOX Target, write same SID as you are logged on to -> delete task created. Request/Task -> object list -> display object list -> change -> new entries -> r3tr tabu rfcdes -> enter -> extras -> change object function -> entire table -> save.
Release transport, check transport log, number of exported entries should be the same as rows in table.
FOR CLARITY:
SE01
Create (paper icon)
Tick workbench request
OK
Add description, project id (if listed) and sid (use log if not available) and save
Highlight unclassified transport
Delete (dustbin icon) and confirm
Double click on transport (lowest level)
Change to update (pencil icon)
Add entries u2013 PRO = r3tr / OBJ = tabu / OBJECT NAME = rfcdes
Enter
Click on key in next column
Reply yes to save changes and close the warning box
Update (pencil icon)
Add an *

I have some question regarding the same.
1.How to take backup/download of an entire module pool program with code,screen,etc.
2.How can we take backup/download for a DB table with its structure?
3.How can we take backup of a search help?
Please give some suggestions abt the same.

Hi,
May be just for viewing, try downloading from SE80 transaction from the others option.
Here just try issuing the print, it will generate the spool.
Now using the spool, download to your desktop as required. It will have all the information regarding the attributes, fields, elements everything.
The only issue is, may be you need to take all the screens separately.

using VBScript. and I have to pass the folder names again and again. I want this to be happened for all the reports of all the folders at single shot only using VBScript.

If you already have a license for photoshop cs6, why do you want photoshop cs2?
You can just install photoshop cs6 on your new computer provided both operating systems are the same kind (both mac or both windows)
If you don't have an install dvd for cs6, you can download photoshop cs6 from here and use your serial:

Moving home but don't want to take services

Thanks for replying, Jim. I wasn't planning to use it for raw images. I shoot film, black and white, and have many negatives I want to print. I am unfamiliar with the upgrades in Lightroom. I wasn't unhappy with the version I have. It was useful for my purposes.
Because it was a few years ago, I don't remember if I registered the product. I was able to login to my account. But could not find a path to communicate with Adobe. I will keep trying.

iMacs take generic power cords. If it fits into the back of the iMac and an electrical socket, it'll work.

For takeing backup on external harddisk. i do the following step:-i open MS server managment Start>Programes>Microsoft SQL Server Stuido--> Connect to the SAP Server Instance for which want to take the Backup of the Database, then ->Server Object>Backup Devices--here i found R3DUMP0,R3DUMP1,R3DUMP2.For taking the backup i have create new backup device R3DUMP3 ->BACKUP DATABASE->DESCRIPTION->ADD .When i add my external harddisk leter it give error-:
get an immediate error (see below). Note, the 2nd error message is specifying the existing backup disk file, not the new one I'm attempting to create.

Required to take backup with out TSM in PROD server.

I required to take backup with out using TSM .
we have got error in TSM . so that i am getting error .
Prod server backup is working automated through TSM .
now i need to take Online backup with out using TSM like DEV and QA (Manual backup) .
For DEV and QA server backup is manual . i am simply moved the tape to tape library and fired the online backup as well same QA also .
Now my query is reqiured to take backup with out the help of TSM in PROD server . Is it possible ?
2 profiles are configured for Online backup and offline backup .
pls check the below profiles .

is there any parameter i need to change ?

Hello cor-el, thanks for your reply. I changed my settings for downloads to desktop and it has appeared on there. When I double click I am asked which program I want to open file. I click firefox and another box "opening install" says I have chosen to open the file which is an application and do I want to save it. This is the only real option so I press save file. I get a box saying this is an executable file which may contain viruses - do you want to run. I press ok and the final box showing C drive file name and desktop appears stating application not found.
This happens the same whenever I try to install.
To my untrained eye the application is not being recognised as an application and I cannot work out how to get it to do that.
My plugin is still showing as out of date.
Is there anything you could suggest. Thanks for your time.
