Want to take my MBP outside in warm weather - quick response please? :)

Hi guys,
I want to take my 2011 15" macbook pro outside. It's 23 degrees Celcius (73 degrees Farenheit) outside, and my laptop's current CPU temperature is 74 degrees with the fans running at 3000 rpm - I'm running a video conversion. Would taking it outside for a few hours kill the battery or HD?
Thanks for any responses... Would like to take it out in the next half hour or so!

Oh, I should add that it would not be a good idea for the computer to be in direct sunlight because that could lead to overheating.

Hi I dont really want to start a discussion but would like some quick advice please!

I m using a imac 28inch, and recently been working with the creative cloud. my main problem is working with dreamweaver, finding after awhile that if i move the page about it leaves a strobic static effect after , leaving the screen difficult to work with! would this be down to wifi or ram?

Your content will only be where you put it. It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone: File>Device>Transfer purchases.
You can import your pics taken with the iphone as you would with any digital camera.
You can e-mail the other pics to yourself, they will never be of the original quality.
You can out a unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. You should get the option to merge the data when you sync.

Bug Report iOS 7 iTunes. Since it is repeatable on 3 iPhones and 4 iPads here, I'm sure others are experiencing the same thing. Apple, might want to take a peek at this. When a tv show or movie is deleted from Videos, the Videos app shuts down.

Restarting videos works and looks like video is getting deleted.

Call the apple store you got it from and ask them. Sometimes in the past they've extended the 'no questions asked return' but only Apple can tell you for sure.

Your conversations will not deleted if you sync with your iTunes.
What is the problem with iCloud? iCloud has nothing to do with iTunes syncing.

Email it to yourself, then save the file and then see if you can convert it to MP3.

Me and my sister share the same itunes account. She wanted to update her phone and get the icloud. I already have the icloud on my phone. When we did this all of her contacts and everything came on my phone. I didnt know that if i deleted them off my phone, the would go off of her phone! Is there any way off gettin those back? With the current iTunes version, there is no Sync Apps selection.
For an app in your iTunes library that is currently installed on your iPhone that you don't want on your iPhone, you can select Remove foir the app under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by a sync. Below the Apps window under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, deselect Automatically install new apps if selected.
To prevent apps downloaded direct with your iPhone from being downloaded with iTunes on your computer, at the iTunes menu bar on your computer go to iTunes > Preferences > Store. Below Automatic Downloads, deselect Apps if selected.

Why not just connect the PC directly to the TC by ethernet and copy the files over?
It is hugely faster and much less mucking around.
In windows load the airport utility for windows.. if you have not already as this will help you access the drive.

I cloud storage wants to take money in a few days time but I can not update my card due to these two issues.
your loss if you make it so complicated to just find the option just to up date a Debit card.

Additionally, I'd like to be able to take the 2000+ photos out of iPhoto and put them on a disk in a folder. I have managed to export them to the hard disk but it's just plonked all 2000+ photos in a list - not ideal if I want to use it for anything else. And then I have to manually delete the photos from iPhoto. Is there not a quick and easy way of dealing with this?

I too would like to be able to do this. Just put them where i want the. IFTT a scripting app will put the images in dropbox for you , but its been pretty iffy.
