I was concerned about this when I got my new iMac last year and had to say goodbye to my old emac (sob!) In the end I had to copy all my tunes etc onto an external hard drive and transfer to the iMac. I think I had to do that in this scenario, but now I have a new iPad when I connect to iTunes on iMac it shows that I can sync and transfer the iTunes stuff if I wanted. I would be extra safe and back up the old tunes first on an external disk, esp if you have loads. I back up my stuff even now from my iMac iTunes as I don't even want to think about how much the stuff is worth!!

Unbelievable - i want it fixed for free or a new laptop - dv2500 is an expensive paperweight

I have (had) a DV2500 laptop and like numerous other people have had nothing but problems with it. Starting with wifi problems, then sound card issues, then video card flickering all leading up to the death of the motherboard all caused by (so my computer guy says) a bad chip that HP knew was bad and continued to sell models containing it.
This is unbelievable that company can sell something knowing it is bad and expect to have no recourse for their business practices. I for one will never by another hp product due to the lack of respect the company has for its customers dealing with problem

New SAP output type ZA23 (with condition logic)for sales order confirmation is needed to create ORDRSP IDoc when the following 3 cases are true: 1) Item Added, 2) Line Item Changed,3) Item Deleted.
Changes to existing lines (option 002) can include:
- qty
- date
- price

Look at the function exits under the enhancement SDEDI001 you have many exits, i think the outbound idoc is primariy created by the function module: IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP.

No usb cable for wireless use on new modems

My internet company recently changed my modem and I'm not longer able to use my printer, which ran wirelessly. From what I've been able to find out I apparently need a USB cable and I don't have one that fits the printer. Is there another way around this. Printer is not able to find the computer apparently and all the troubleshooting I've been able to do says the printer is offline.

I've got a new computer and when i plug in my ipod, the message says this ipod has a different itunes library do you want to delete it and use this new library/ you will loose all content. I want one itunes account but can't figure out how.

Preparing iMac for sale

I have an iMac MB323B/A running on Leopard 10.5.8, which I want to prepare for sale.
I also have the installation disks for Snow Leopard.
I would like to be able to install the Snow Leopard and then download Lion , i.e. sell the iMac with Lion as the operating system.
I have put all the contents of the iMac onto an external hard drive and I am ready for the next step.
Do I use the install disks for the iMac and do a clean install? I have read on some of the forums that when you get to setup, you should press cammand and 'Q' to avoid the need for a user's name.
Would I be able to install Snow Leopard without updating the Leopard to the full 10.5.8? Would I be able to install Snow Leopard without the need for a user's name or password?
I would like to sell the iMac so the new owner can insert his/her own details from the startup. I want to avoid any evidence of my ownership.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.

I'd reinstall Leopard and all the App's that originally came with the Mac and provide the new owner with both the Leopard Disc set and the Snow Leopard Upgrade Disc. That would allow the new owner to upgrade to Snow Leopard, update using the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 , then go to the App's store setup a new Account and purchase Lion, other iLife upgrades and App's using there new Account.
There should not be any problem upgrading it to Snow Leopard before or after selling it, as long as you provide the new owner with the Snow Leopard Upgrade Disc that you purchased for the intent of upgrading that computer.

TS3274 Deleting Disabled AppleID and using a new that works with apps gotten with disabled apple ID

I gave my iPad 2 to someone to download some apps for me.The guy used his apple ID to download the apps.the apple ID used is now disabled. I want to be able to use my new apple ID to update all apps downloaded including the ones downloaded using the initial ID.

Content is tied to the account that originally downloaded/bought it, and it can't be copied or transferred to a different account - delete the apps that weren't downloaded with your account and then buy/download your own copies of them

Block Material for sales by plant

Hello Guys,
I want to block the material for sales by plant, i have the material A created in 6 different plants and want to block the material for sale in one plant, i know about all the material blocks in Basic Data1 which is a global block and block on Sales Org1 will block it across the sales organization and block in Purchasing View, MRP view and costing are relevant to block the material for procurement in a plant.
All sales orders are created in CRM 4.0 and will replicate to R/3
Any development ideas will be appreciated.

In that case, if you want to block for sales only a specific material or materials from a particular Plant within a Sales Organization, you may not have any standard options available. However, you may want to work with your ABAP colleagues on an userexit to achieve your objective during your sales order processing.
The following userexit may be useful for your purpose to define your rules for sales by Plant for specific materials within a sales Organization
User-Exit in program MV45AFZB -
USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION
You can use this user exit to determine which plant will be used for the delivery. In the standard system, the delivering plant is copied from the customer master or the customer-material info record. If you want to use a different rule, then you must enter it in this user exit.
As per another update here in your forum, if you plan to stop sales completely from a particular Plant for ALL materials in a Sales Og, then you may want to de-link the Plant assignment to the Sales Org, if possible.

I want that table Name which contain the Header Text. Because If header text is more than 1 line, where it stores??

Hi,
Text data are stored in tables STXH (Header) and STXL(Item).
But you can't find the exact text in these tables as the text are stored in binary form.
You need to use function module READ_TEXT to read any document texts.

Why use of new String() in JboDomain constructor

JDeveloper by default generates a constructor for String-based Jbo domains like this
public MyDomain(String val)
mData = new String(val);
validate();
}What reason is there for the use of "new String()"? I've changed all my domains
to simply do mData = val. What would be wrong with that?

You change is ok. It's just a generic code generation routine that is not special-casing the String type.
