Some of the PC's in our company use windows and some LINUX. Therefore we use two types of SAP GUI. One for windows and the other one JAVA. PO approval was set to print automatically. In a windows setting, there are no problems with this setup. But in SAP GUI for JAVA, no print outs are produced and no error messages are displayed. I am using SAP GUI for JAVA version 7.10 ver 6. and I use Front end printing for linux access method G.

Connect to SAP R/3 using SAP GUI for HTML through saprouter

Hello,
I have my system running on my intranet, but I need to connect some support enginners through an Internet connection. Nowadays some users can connect to QAS and PRO systems using SAP GUI for windows and java with the saprouter string, but the support enginners are using SAP GUI for HTML, do I need a special string or configuration so html users can connect to my system from the Internet?

Dear Sam,
You can Use the bapi BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST. By using the extension tables of the BAPI when creating the accoutning documents you will pass all the fields you did not found on the standard tables.
Now, you will use the BTE (Business Transaction Event) RWBAPI01 : SAMPLE_INTERFACE_RWBAPI01, and you will find all the data you fill in the tables Extension in the bapi, and you have to transfer it to table IT_ACCIT.
You can fill even specific fields of table BSEG if you want.

please check with SAP GUI for Java 7.20 rev 5 before submitting a bug report.
Also please verify, that cmd-< and cmd-> are not assigned as "Keyboard Shortcuts" in the "Keyboard" control panel of "System Preferences".
Bug reports can be submitted with the [SAP Message Wizard|http://service.sap.com/message], for SAP GUI for Java please use component BC-FES-JAV.

Tcode PA70(Fast Entry) using SAP GUI for HTML

Hi Gurus,
when i am copying data(one row) from excel sheet into infotype using
tcode PA70(Fast Entry),through EP(transaction iview Created Using SAP
GUI for HTML).
enter TCODE PA70-> select Recurring Payments/Deductions -> click
create -> copy the data from excel sheet and past
The whole row of data is copied into one field . the data is not copied
into the corresponding fields.

I don't think this is possible. Please see note 314568 about the limitations of the SAPgui for HTML (webgui), the "Clipboard access" section seems to describe this limitation.

When & Why to Use WL Adapter for MQSeries as compared to MDB?

          We have a need to both send and receive message via MQSeries in asynch mode.
          Initial assessment was to receive messages via MDB and send messages by use a
          pool of Sessions to the MQ Mgr connection.

I assume you are referring to the "WLI" adapter? Perhaps try posting
          your question to the "weblogic.integration.developer" or
          "weblogic.integration.interest" newsgroup.
          If you are referring to the "Messaging Bridge", which comes with
          WebLogic server, then the advantage is that MQ need not be up for the
          senders to continue sending. Senders can send messages to a WebLogic
          queue, which the bridge can in turn forward to an MQ queue. The
          disadvantage is that the extra bridge hop may slow down your app.

          can automatically pool foreign (or WebLogic) sessions for you.
          Additionallly, it provides help in that you can configure wrappers for

How run reports JDE from BPEL using the Adapter for JD Edwards OneWorld?

Hi,
I need to load on line a lot of invoices from Bpel to JD Edwards using the Adapter for JD Edwards OneWorld (iWay).
Using Business Functions as Web Services it wasn't a not good idea because of this Adapter is poorly constructed and doesn't allow simultaneous loads, a memory leak occurs on JDE server. And to load them invoice by invoice is very slow.
A choice is to use Z tables and load them through schedules, but Bpel loses total control.
I heard that I can run processes reports that enable to extract the data from the Z tables and load them into JDE.
How can I execute reports JD Edwards invoked from BPEL using the Adapter for JD Edwards OneWorld?

Hi Dario,
BizTalk 2013 R2 (JDE LOB Adapter) is not tested against latest release of JDE EnterpriseOne 9.1.
It only supports with 8.12 and 9.0 version of JDE.

Understanding impact of using Sap Inbox for MSS Notification.

Up till we never used SAP Inbox for any business purpose. Now we are deciding it to use for MSS notification that is going to instantaneously increase volume of notification in SAP inbox.
I need to understand will there be any technical implication of this increased in data volume.

I used source system in some projects and had same scenario as you have. Its fine . You can satge the data in one DSO from different source systems and then can split regionally based on source system .
Source system ( 0LOGSYS and 0SOURSYSTEM) should be part of your key and should be the last one in sequence of keys , will help in improving performance for any read on this DSO .
I really dont remember facing any issue.

R/3 Secure Store and Forward, while using SAP portal for SSO

We are using SAP Portal UME for authentication, then SAP SSO tickets to log into the SAP R/3 system. Initially we decided that the end users would have a "disabled password" so that they must use the portal authentication mechanism to get into R/3 and therefore could not log in straight to R/3 system via SAP GUI.
All was working fine until during integration testing when someone tried to use the electronic signature function on a QM t-code (QA11) that prompted for an e-sig. Since local passwords have been disabled, the user could not execute the e-sig.
We do not want to activate local R/3 passwords for the users. Can anyone give some advice or a best practice regarding how to set up electronic sigs in R/3 while using an external authentication source? FYI, we are also trying to avoid using the LDAP connector from R/3 to our LDAP.

Well, theoretically one could make use of the fact that an NWAS ABAP can act as http client (submitting http requests to the NWAS Java to validate logon data); but that's just a rough idea.

Error during DatabaseCopy using SAP tools for SQL Server (v7.12)

I'm trying to perform a system copy from PRD to QAS. The database has been mounted to QAS via detach and attach method. I did a DBCC on the database and everything looks OK. I'm running SAPINST (SAP Tools for MSSQL) and selecting the Database Copy option. The source database has a schema of DBO. Both PRD and QAS are running SAP 4.7/Basis 620. The target schema is QAS. SAPINST fails in step 2 (Define Params) with:
"This service cannot be used for a system with SAP ABAP release 620"
Is this message misleading? Has anyone receive this message before.
UPDATE:
I donwloaded the latest version of SAP Tools for MSSQL and now it failes during the execution phase on step, "Convert DB objects to new schema".

This is looks like permission issue on source folder
Copy source in to your local drive and try again.
I had same issue and able to resolve after copy EXP1 EXP2 and EXP3 folder in to local drive C: with Everyone full access

Using DB Adapter for MS SQL Server 2005 SP in OSB 11g.

I have a requirement to create a DB Adapter for MS SQL Server Stored Procedure in JDeveloper and export the Adapter file to OSB 11g. I have Created the Adapter and imported it into OSB 11g successfully. Created the Datasource and Connection pool also in console.

I believe NVARCHAR is an unsupported type...
The following document lists the supported data types for SQL Server stored procedures and functions... NVARCHAR is not in the list... :-(

Sender ebXML Adapter for handling multiple documents

Hi all,
I would like to ask for input on how to implement the use of sender Seeburger ebXML channel that will send multiple documents types (CIDX ordercreate and CIDX orderchange).
For Seeburger AS2 adapter, handling of ANSI X12 documents (EDI850 and EDI860) can be done using Generic AS2 sender and Split997 adapters, and message splitter configuration. Is there same functionality that can be used for sender Seeburger ebXML adapter for handling multiple non-ANSI X12/EDIFACT documents like CIDX OrderCreate and CIDX OrderChange?

no, you have to configure url / authentification in the adapter what is obviously different for different ids.
Can we achieve it using standard module?
Do we need to develop custom module to read emails from 100 mail ids?
You don't need module, you need 100 sender channels.
