Wanting to help my brother
I'm getting an iPod tomorrow. I am totally geeked! I anticipate zero problems plugging it in and syncing my library. However, my little brother just bought a devil box with Vista and he's having a helluva time with his music. I was over there last week and tried to burn a cd from the HP music library or Media Player or whatever he has, and wound up walking away in frustration. I guess I'm spoiled. Today I got the idea that it would be a great thing if, when I visit on Sunday, I download iTunes for him, plug in my iPod and give him my library. He'll be thrilled. (Most of my library is from my cd's, but I can always authorize his computer for the few iTunes store-bought tracks.) Not knowing much at all about how Vista works, such as whether or not there will be a seperate iTunes library folder, how to make iTunes the default media player, etc. I started looking around online. The number one thing I'm keyed on right now is the idea that my brand new iPod could get corrupted after I've had it less than 24 hours! Should I just walk away from this idea and be content with my good intentions? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

You will need to ask the authorities in India and Canada, this is a technical help forum. I suspect you are simply trying to save your brother money however I suspect it would be easier and less expensive in the long term if he buys the system he wants in India.

Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
To close apps: Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
To solve internet problem, contact your provider. Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies. Your router may be old and slow. -

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

To delete synced photos and videos from your device
In iTunes, click the Device button in the upper right corner. (If viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper-right corner first.)
Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Note: To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos."
Click Apply.

Anyone know how to stop the "activate" box from blocking usage of a perfectly legal copy of Ilisten? I want to help my dyslexic grandson and this box, including the activation code, keeps popping up, keeping me from using the software. I activated the program and did a few profile building sessions, now it pops up each time I start the program, blocking me from using it. Help sure would be appreciated.
JayI looked at your post this morning and did not know enough to respond, other than to find out that links to iListen now go to newer, renamed software. Considering it's been nine hours with no response, I'm suspecting few people here have experience with that software. You could contact the current copmany that used to sell that package and see if they have any archived support info.
BTW: please check you entry for "Mac OS" in your profile. It says iOS, which cannot run on an iMac. iOS is the system for phone and iPads but can't run on Mac computers. Do "About this Mac" from the Apple menu and see what it says about the OS version. Should look like this:

You need to create search helps based on this table for each filed or one for all the fields with proper import and export paramters. Or else you can give check table entries for each of the table fields for which you need the F4 help. Check table us assigned to a field using the Foriegn key assignment.

Tech Support Does Not Want To Help
OK, Does anyone know if Technical Support reads these threads or is anyone who reads these in Tech Support?
I was told by Tech Support 9 days ago that I was being escalated to the next level to figure out why I could not install the Creative Suites 4 Web Premium SE software. And that was the end of Tech Support's help. Their answer when you call back is wait longer. What the heck is that???
I used to think Dell had the worst Tech Support, NOT ANY MORE. Adobe is by far the worst and the least knowledgeable and/or least trained!!!!!
Seriously, if you want to help me install CS4 software, YOU NEED TO BE TALKING TO ME!!!!! You need to be looking at what my computer is saying in response to what is being tried.
I am an average user, not a computer expert. I can not get this software to install on my own. So Tech Support, if you are out there, HELP ME!!!

Have you tried connecting the iPad to your computer and using iTunes to restore to factory settings? These are the basic steps.

Only your friend can unlock it, either by giving you his Apple ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices - please see:

I have misplaced my APPLE ID security questions answers and APPLE doe not seem to want to help me. What is the procedure for resetting these secirty questions?
With the answers, my APPLE account is useless. HELP ME HERE!!!!Go to http://appleid.apple.com and select "Manage your account". Log in with your Apple ID and password, then select Password and Security from the left column.
You need to know the answers to your existing questions to reset them. If you don't remember your answers, there may be a link on that page where you can have a reset email send to your Rescue email address. This will not appear if you have not provided a Rescue email address, and may not appear even if you did.
If there does not seem to be any way to reset your security questions, contact iTunes Support here: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ They will respond within a business day. Be sure to check your spam or junk mail folders for their response.
