Wanting to Purchase Photoshop CS6 Student Edition

Hello,
I am a student and do not have a monthly income to be able to purchase and maintain Adobe CC. I know that CS6 is still offered, but I could not find the student version of Photoshop. Where can I buy the student edition of Photoshop CS6?

I have bought the Photoshop CS6 students edition and installed it on my home pc. I remember reading that it is allowed to install it to 2 computers. I would now like to do that with my 2nd laptop. How do I have to proceed? Unfortunately I couldn't find any information on that on the adobe homepage.

Yes, you just install it on the second machine and then activate it with the serial number you already have. If you ever need to put it on a different machine after this then you just need to deactivate on one of the current machines to free up an activation for use elsewhere.

Purchase Photoshop CS6 Students and Teachers

Hey guys,
i've got a question about the S&T version of Photoshop CS6.
I want to visit a college that is teaching photo stuff. It is said that when i'm a student i will get something like a voucher for Adobe Photoshop CS6 which will get me into a position to purchase the S&T version of Photoshop CS6.
What I don't get right now. I can purchase this version dispite that I have any evidence of the study status? Or is it just like ordering MS Office Home& Student where I can purchase it anywhere and install it as I want?
I just want to know what exactly I need to have in order to install and maybe activate this version.

Also, Ps CS 6 is at the end of its life-span. It, and all perpetual licensed programs from Adobe, are being dropped. Everything will be the Creative Cloud, and no longer a box set, or even a perpetual license.
Some certified resellers do still have the old Ps CS 6, and the college bookstore might be one of those. If so, pick it up as quickly, as you can, because, as they say on TV, "supplies are limited."

I'm afraid you've posted this on the Audition User to User forum...we deal with the audio product--and, as users, we can't quote on behalf of Adobe.
If you just want to see the list price, do a Google search on "Adobe Creative Suite 6" and it should take you to the catalogue for your country...I can't post a link because the system always takes me to Australian prices!
However, if you need a formal quote, I think you need to contact the Adobe Customer Service centre for your country. A list of phone numbers can be found at Adobe - Adobe worldwide customer support and technical support phone numbers
You probably know this, but CS6 is several versions old--it's the last one you can purchase outright. After that Adobe moved to a subscription model which may or may not suit you better.

Submitted an application for Photoshop CS6 student edition and the page sent me to a 404 Error so I tried Customer Service and it says chat unavailable right now, how do I know if my submission form got sent?

This is my first purchase from Adobe and it's a bit worrying having this happen.
I feel left in the dark right now and after paying $200 for this software it's kind of annoying not knowing if my application was received.

Photoshop CS4 Student Edition

I am interested in purchasing Photoshop CS4 student edition. I live in the States and my operating system is a Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger. It's also an intel. Anyway, I know a graphic designer who told me you can't use the program for commercial use and also you can only install the disc one time. What constitutes commercial use? If I buy a new computer, will I be able to install PSCS4 again or transfer the files?

You can use the program for whatever you want.

You can deactivate the other copy, then install from the original media on the new box. DO NOT
transfer the program files, ever; always install from the original media.
The license is for one user, two computers that are not used simultaneously, e.g. a laptop and a desktop box.
You can read the EULA on the Adobe web site. Do a search.

Photoshop CS6 (student version) - AppStore?

I got a coupon for the appStore and I want to buy Photoshop CS6 (student version) but I cannot find it in the Mac AppStore. Is it possible, that I purchase it there (and am I just to blind to find it) or is it impossible to buy it there?

Adobe hasn't made a MAS version of that app.
PS Elelments is the closest you will get and the MAS version is less capable than the version Adobe sells on their site.

Photoshop CS6 Student Limitations

Hi everyone.
I have a few questions regarding Photoshop CS6 Student Edition that I hope someone can answer.
I am fairly new to Photoshop and I've only used it in school and during the CC trial period.
I've grown a liking to the software since it is more user-friendly than the other free editing software(s) out there.
1. Does the license have an activation limit?
I factory reset both my computer and laptop on a biannual basis to keep my files clean and free from any possible unwanted programs.
Do I have to take any extra steps such as uninstalling the PS CS6 Student (before the factory reset) to allow a reuse of the license on the new factory reset computer?
2. Are there any notable limitations between the regular Photoshop CS6 vs Photoshop CS6 Student?
The ones I am aware of are;
A) I can only use the student license for personal use and it is limited to two computers.
3. Would my own college e-mail be proof of enrollment?
4. In the case that I am no longer with my school after buying the Student Edition, am I still allowed the usage of the license/program indefinitely even after college/university?
5. I was told that I am also able to use the Student Edition commercially but are there any particular restrictions to that?
6. Is there any specific page that may answer any of the questions here?
I apologize if any of the questions were already answered but I'm honestly having a bit of a hard time navigating through the website since most of the information is only about Photoshop CC License instead of the CS6.

Instead of doing a factory reset, why not create an image of the hard drive and back that up. Installing all programs and updating Windows will take a considerable amount of time!
Where as a restore from an image literally takes in my case about 4 minutes, what I tend to do is create a new image every month, first download the latest software updates for Windows and Applications, do some house cleaning and re-image, this takes about an hour to perform. So in the unlikely event that I have issues with my PC I can have it back up and running in no time, with all my Applications installed and ready for use.

You simply download AAM as instructed in the link. Once you sifgn in with AAM, everything will be handled from there.

I recently brought photoshop CS6 student edition, i installed the software and sent off a photograph of my student ID to be verified. it has been nearly a month and i have received no email and my trial has nearly run out (which is not ideal as i am approaching a deadline for uni). when i log onto my adobe account it says no products have been registered even though i registred my serail number during installation????

Cannot use PhotoShop CS6 after trial expired, even after purchasing Creative Cloud Student Edition

Hi.
I had PhotoShop CS6 trial, which expired.
I have purchased Creative Cloud student edition, I receive a message that my PhotoShop trial has expired.
I am prompted to purchase the product to extend it, or type in the product's serial number
(I never received a serial number.)
I paid for Creative Cloud and have an order number, I should not be having this issue.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled PhotoShop CS6 multiple times, I also use DreamWeaver and am fearful that I will encounter the same issue. How can I use the Photoshop CS6 after I have paid for it?

The trial expired 2 weeks ago - Monday.
I purchased the Cloud Yesterday, also 2 weeks ago Monday 10/15/2012.
I purchased it twice thinking 1 purchase did not complete.
I still will need to request a refund for 1, I've been too busy between, work, school, and kid. I'm at work now.
