Wants to Delete a char in Dimension on DEV but sees Insert not DELETE
Hi,
On Dev, I have a DIMENSION which includes an char Plant, that i want to delete. I have noticed that even though I am in the change mode, sometimes, when I right click on the Plant or any object I intend to delete, sometimes, it shows "Insert" while on other times it shows "Delete"
At this moment I need to DELETE plant, but I can't get the DELETE option back.
I'll appreciate some help.
If the cube had data in it, the delete option will be disabled. If you want to delete a characteristic or key figure in a cube, make sure you delete the data in the cube first.

What do you mean make folders? Like folders inside an application or accessing system folders? You can't do the latter. -

I just got a retro clock from brookstone and in setting it up it asked if I want to use current location which is incorrectly "Buffalo" but I do not know how to change it. Can anyone help me find where to change location?
As I understand it, Apple gets your location from the wi-fi router to which your iPod is connected. Location Services identifies the router and then checks for its location in Apple's database. If the router has been recently relocated or if there is a glitch in Apple's database, you will get an incorrect location. I don't think that there is anything you can do about it. You could send Apple a message about the error, but I doubt if they would do anything about it.

I read through the thread you mentioned and it seems that people are having a lot of problems with the iCloud clients, so we're not alone, but the unique issue in my case is the failing email address vs. the working perfectly email address.
After reading your message tonight, I tried my setup again with the preferred Apple ID (the one without the "." between the names), and for the first time ever, IT WORKS. Mail app configured the servers both send and receive as p01-smtp.mail.me.com and p01-imap.mail.me.com. For the first time, I'm able to send and receive into the Mail app, create mailboxes, move messages into and out of mailboxes, keep Sent messages, etc.
I had a 50-minute support chat with MobileMe support via ExpressLane on Monday afternoon. They couldn't resolve my issue but passed me on to escalation. I was told to expect to get an email from advanced support by this afternoon, but none has arrived. However, so far tonight -- and I will check again tomorrow several times before declaring victory -- it looks like something has been fixed on the Apple end to make things work.
I will report back after I do some additional testing tomorrow to make sure the fix is real and is solid...and before I let my friend, the new Mac user, know the good news.

I want to change the country of my itunes account but I do not have a credit card of the country
I had my account registered in the itunes store and has changed the store from Japan to UK.
I also had some apps downloaded in the Japan itunes store and I am not able to update these apps.

I wanted to use verizon hotspot wifi with my ipad (it searaches for hotspots when ur on the go) but verizon states not compatible with operating system. States that it needs windows 7, Vista, or windows XP. Any ways around this? Any ideas?

I have an ipad3 and a PC
I am trying to connect the iPad3 to the PC for HotSpotting reason (the ability to use the internet on the PC)
Turning on HOT SPOT on the Apple ipad works GREAT when using it through WI-Fi and through Blue Tooth. But connecting it directly through the included iPad 3 USB Cable to the USB side of the PC does NOT work. I tried several PCs, and several Cables. Any other ideas -

In iTunes, did you click your iPhone under "devices" then go through the tabs to set things up? There's one setting that you need to check to sync contacts.

I want to back up my iphoto library to my external drive, but can't find it it in my computer's tree. When I click pictures in the tree, it launches iphoto and there is no file name or icon to drag. What am I missing? I'm sure it is simple what ever it is. Help please?

I have no idea what you are speaking of - files and folers do not have Pref files - only applications have Pref files
