WAP 121 support for RADIUS COA
Hi,
I am looking into purchasing WAP121 AP product and understand it supports 802.1x RADIUS.
For an intergration with NAC product from Bradford, I need to know if WAP121 supports RADIUS COA standard or at least there is a way to disassociate a client through CLI command.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Chang,
Thank you for reaching the Small Business Support Community.
None of the Small Business access points support the RADIUS CoA nor have CLI access, these are all GUI configurable devices with just the RADIUS feature.
I suggest you to look for an eterprise device and inquire about this feature on the wireless support community forum;
https://supportforums.cisco.com/community/netpro/wireless-mobility
Please do not hesitate to reach me back if there is any further assistance I may help you with.
Kind regards,

I am trying to use a server farm to get radius authentication/authorization and would like to get some comments. I have not found any related documentation in this case or at least using the CSM.
Does the attached configuration take sense?
I appreciated.
JoseCSM does NOT have specific support for radius LB.
The CSM can only support radius LB at L4, but there's no support for stickiness based on application-specific information.
Simple Answer: yes you can do it, but you need to tackle it at layer 4.
With loadbalancing radius, you also need to make sure that subsequent traffic should also hit the same radius server
Your config should look like

C3750V2 Support for CoA and the Overarching ISE Features
so this document lists support for some of the 3750 lines, but not all ...
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/1-2/compatibility/ise_sdt.html
What I really need to know for is, is the 3750V2 also included ?
Thanks guys !Yes, it is not listed but it is supported. CoA was added to the 3750 family switches in version 12.2(52)SE:

Adobe recommends: Enhanced support for CSS3 in Dreamweaver CS5.5
Over the past week, we publicized some high-value content from adobe.com and other community sites. Hopefully you enjoyed these posts and found the resources useful. Today is our last day of the "Adobe Recommends" series.
Continuing our trip along the CSS highway, we now move to CSS3 with our next recommendation, by Preran Kurnool:
Enhanced support for CSS3 in Dreamweaver CS5.5
This blog post takes you through using box shadow, text shadow, border radius, and border image properties in Dreamweaver CS5.5.
Give it a spin and let us know what you think!

Sorry, Al, but I couldn't disagree more. Where I respect the fact that, as coders, we're rather ingrained with our workflow processes and, at times, hesitant to change, I've found LESS' benefits to be very worthwhile.
No need to apologize. Preprocessing is a topic on which there are differing opinions. You have one. I have one. There are advocates:
http://blog.urbaninsight.com/2012/04/12/ten-reasons-you-should-be-using-css-preprocessor
There are those who are not sold:
http://blog.millermedeiros.com/the-problem-with-css-pre-processors/
http://www.skybondsor.com/blog/css-preprocessors
There are those mostly sold:
http://css-tricks.com/musings-on-preprocessing/
There are even those who have been converted (but who might reverse at some later point):
http://cognition.happycog.com/article/preprocess-this
Heck, even I might be converted someday - or not
Bottom line for me, right now? I know I can write CSS that is better than most, more efficient than most, and easier to follow than most, and a preprocessor would add unwanted complexity. But that's for me. For someone not able to be organized intutively, or for a large - but carefully coordinated - team, a preprocessor could be a positive.
But not for me.
There are evolving trends - popular aspects of the technology that may and should find themselves being adapted into CSS. But I've been around this business as long as CSS has. I've seen buzzwords and trends and I've historically been spot-on in predicting the one that will stick. I think preprocessing will stick - but only insofar as it will be a catalyst for features in future versions of CSS. As a separate technology it makes no sense - to me -
WLC 5500 support for Diameter protocol?
We have been having issues with wireless user authentication (sessions start/die). Multiple authentications are sometimes needed for end users to connect. We use 802.1x to Microsoft Radius in server 2008 R2, and it's flaky. I've read up on the Diameter protocol, and it looks like it would be very good to use. However, our WLC 5508's only support the normal (and very old UDP version) of Radius.
Does Cisco plan on enhancing the software to be able to support Diameter in the future? That is something you would need to ask your Cisco SE about. I haven't heard anything regarding future support for that, but that doesn't mean it will not happen.
Mad far as your current deployment, I have many customers who are using Microsoft IAS and NPS for radius with no issues like what you are having. It's something you need to understand why they are not connecting right away. Many times it can be how the WLAN is configured or driver related issues.

Are there plans to provide direct support for stringify capability in node-oracledb
Typically javascript binding client libraries accept stringify JSON data. It would be nice to have this capability built into the node-oracledb as well as streaming other data formats: <XML> ....
Regards,Is this for insert or fetching of JSON? Oracle Database 12.1.0.2 can natively store JSON http://docs.oracle.com/database/121/ADXDB/json.htm
Do you want to be able to use JSON objects with Oracle bind variables?
How important is XML support for you? -
Hello
I have a question relating to RADIUS CoA Port Bounce.
I'm planning to deploy 802.1x with ISE 1.3 to:
802.1x authenticate corporate desktop PCs (with anyconnect client installed for user and machine authentication) - on successful machine authentication, ISE will dynamically assign a VLAN
Profile Cisco IP phones
In order for an authenticated corporate desktop to pick up an IP address on its dynamically assigned VLAN I was thinking of using CoA Port Bounce. If this desktop was connecting through a successfully profiled Cisco IP phone, am I right in saying that the resulting Port Bounce will also affect the phone (phone will de-register from callmanager)?
Thanks
AndyHi Andy, if you are using PoE then a port-bounce the phone would definitely drop from the network and Call Manager. The phone would basically power down and then power back up.
Now with that being said you should keep in mind that a port-bounce would remove the existing dot1x session and will a new session would be initialized. Thus, the endpoint would end up starting at the original VLAN again and then getting the new VLAN after authorization :) So I guess what I am trying to say is that port-bounce is not the solution for this. Instead, you should consider:
1. Using dACLs instead of dynamic VLANs. That way you can have everyone in the same VLAN but use different dACLs to define network access
2. Continue to use dynamic VLANs but keep in mind that some "dumb" devices won't detect the VLAN change, thus not grabbing a new IP address. The good news is that most modern devices will detect the VLAN change and should grab a new IP. For instance, you should not have any issues with Windows 7 and newer devices
My recommendation is to go with option #1 though as that has always worked for me.
I hope this helps!

Hi Everyone,
Does anybody know if Steel Belt Radius would be able to authenticate both the telnet and enable passwords for RADIUS authentication?
I have tried IAS, but apparently IAS does not have any understanding of the enable password and therefore returns an error.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Dan"enable password" authorization is not supported in RADIUS authorization. TACACS+ supports it.

RADIUS COA on software version 12.4 using 3845 router
We working to provide dynamic badwidth control by using RADIUS COA to 3845 router.
When we issue the COA 3845 rejects the message with invalid session id message.
We are using following instructions to craft RADIUS COA message.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_4t/12_4t2/htipmaaa.htmlHi Manuel,
I have PPPOE client running directly against 3845 and terminating PPOE. Authentication, authorization and accounting work against FreeRADIUS.
Next step for us is to manage subscriber connections by sending COA to change service parameters.
Our system sends RADIUS COA as in below.
You can find the packet dumps, configuration and Cisco log below.
Thank you for responding and looking forware to your next response.

Managed Provider Support for XmlType
Any idea when XmlType will be supported by the managed provider? This is the only thing preventing us from adopting it right now.
Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client.OracleException: Unsupported column datatype
Orign. link : Managed Provider Support for XmlType (because qustion arhived)
I am using odp.net.managed.121.1.2
It seems that still xmlType is unsupported. It there work around? It appears you are using ODP.NET from ODAC 12c R2, which doesn't support XmlType. If you upgrade to ODP.NET in ODAC 12c R3, you will be able to use XmlType. It is currently supported in that version of managed ODP.NET.

Lack of support for Canon G7 and G9. Alternatives?
I am really disappointed about the lack of support for the Canon G9, and looking at the list of compatible cameras (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306835) I notice that Canon G7 - even if it does not have a RAW format, is not supported either.
I am thinking that the purchase of the G9 may have been premature and that I may need to sell it and get another cam that is supported by Apple/Aperture.
What would you guys do? Is there a cam out there similar to the G9 at the moment that has a Apple-supported RAW format?
Best regards,
Kjell Are RefsvikI think the camera closest to the G9 that has RAW support from Apple are the Panasonic DMC-LX2/Leica D-Lux 3 twins. Don't know where you are, but in the US, the Panasonic costs about $400. 10MP, 28-112mm (35mm equivalent) Leica lens, very compact body, and RAW output. The Leica costs $599, and has that classic look.
I don't know much about that cameras, but you may want to investigate.

Why no SyncML-support for Harmattan??
I've used SyncML on my N95 with memotoo.com for years. Worked very well. I took it for granted that SyncML would be supported on the N9. But alas, it isn't. I find that really incomprehensible. Worse yet, CalDAV syncing with memotoo doesn't work - I don't know who's to blame for this, but on the desktop it works flawelessly so I do have a suspicion. Even worse: there is no way to sync contacts using CardDAV.
MeeGo (the true MeeGo) has SyncML-support out-of-the-box. And the N9/N950 does have SyncML-support for bluetooth.
Yes, contacts syncing is supported for Ovi. And Google. And Facebook. But I do NOT want to use those services, because of grave privacy risks and because they use yet again some proprietary protocols.
I wonder, what where they thinking at Nokia for NOT supporting some well-known open standards??
(While I'm ranting: why is there ^%@$ Facebook and GTalk-support over XMPP, but no self-defined XMPP account?? Yes, you can add such accounts from the terminal, using mc-tool, but really that's just a kick in the teeth. And where's UPnP/DLNA-support?)Hey Guys, Did you figure out any way to do PIM sync via SyncML on N9?
I am struggling to get things moving as I come from N8.
N9 just doesnt have any way to sync calendar, tasks with Ovi. Same with Notes.

ISE 1.2.1 support for Yosemite?
Hello all, just curious. I see in the release notes for ISE 1.2.X that support for Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) was available via patch 12 on the ISE1.2.0 train of code. That said, I see nothing in the release notes stating any support for Yosemite for any of the patches for ISE1.2.1, the latest being patch 3 released 1 week after ISE 1.2.0 patch 12. Can anyone please advise if Yosemite is in fact supported on 1.2.1 with patch 3??
Thank you very much in advance for your help
JeffJeff,
OS X 10.10 is supported in ISE 1.2 p11, 1.2.1 p2 and 1.3.
Patch 12 for 1.2 and Patch 3 for 1.2.1 fix other issues for OS X 10.10, and I recommend updating to the latest patches for these fixes.
Here is the entry in the Release Notes detailing the fix for 10.10 in 1.2 p 12:
MacOsXAgent versrion 4.9.5.3 should be used and MacOsXSPWizard 1.0.0.30
Note that the description for these files denote ISE 1.2 Patch 11/12, ISE 1.3 release and above. ISE 1.2.1 is not mentioned, but follows the bug fix/release schedule for 1.2, with an adjustment.
1.2 patch 10 = 1.2.1 patch 1
