WAP321 not accepting firmware image

Hi all, in a building I have 2 cisco wap321, one with software v1.0.2.3 and the other with v1.0.0.3. I wanted to set up a cluster so I decided to upgrade both of them to the latest firmware v1.0.5.3. With the first one I didn't have any issue, but with the last one It seems to not accepting the firmware image, It loads the image and immediately return to "Firmware Upgrade" page as it nothing happened.
I've already tried:
v1.0.0.3 --> v1.0.1.10
v1.0.0.3 --> v1.0.2.3
v1.0.0.3 --> v1.0.5.3
Any Ideas?
Do you need more information?
Many thanks in advance!

Thnaks Saurav, but I've already followed that guide. Also I've tried different browsers.
Is the a way to do it by CLI? Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance.

  • HP Laserjet P2015 will not accept firmware update

    Hi,
A laserjet P2015n will not accept a firmware upgrade.
When attempting to upgrade, paper jam led flashes 3 times, pauses for 1 second , flashes 3 times.......led will repeat this pattern even after upgrade is supposed to have completed.
If I cycle the power, the printer returns to ready state but firmware is still at the older version.
User had been experiencing dificulties printing and firmware update might resolve the issues.
Does anyone know of a solution?

The product you have seems to be a commercial printer. For the best chance at finding a solution I would suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support!
You may find the Commercial Laserjet board here.

  • WAP321 - not accepting WPA2 PSK longer than 32 characters?

I just got one of these and it works pretty good except I can't get it to take more than a 32 character WPA2 PSK.  Tried using Firefox and IE and it doesn't make a difference.  This is for my house.  I'm retiring an old Cisco 1200 series AP and as well as a Cisco 1130.  Using the same PSK and it doesn't work.  Even if I just put 32 characters and just try typing more characters, it doesn't accept any more.
Running 1.0.0.3 code and don't see anything newer or any firmware for it for that matter.
    Thanks!

Hi, My name is Eric Moyers. I am a Network Support Engineer in the Cisco Small Business Support Center. Thank you for using the Cisco Community Post Forums.
You may not have to change anything. When using the Password Complexity and WPA-PSK Complexity look at the Character Class
    What number are you using?
1 means your password only has to contain upper or lower or numbers or special characters as the password – like 8646061866, or ciscotest or CISCOTEST
2 means contain at least two of the four - like cisco1234 or CISCO1234
3 means contains three of the four – like Cisco@@@@ or cisco12!!
4 means contain all four – Like C!5c0t35t

  • Iphoto not accepting jpeg images saved using Preview "save as"

I have a number of tiff images on my desktop. Am trying to save them as jpeg images directly into iPhoto using the Preview "save as" function. When I do this, I can find no image in iPhoto. When I "save as" jpeg to my desktop, the jpeg image appears there and I can drag to iPhoto, but this is laborious compared with saving directly. Can anyone help me with this?

TD, thanks for commenting on this, and I think I see your point--I used the wrong term when I wrote "import". However, in Preview there is what I see to be a "save as jpeg to iPhoto" option. Why is this available if it does not work? Or to take it from another angle--what can you do with this option? In the end, I guess my basic question is: Is there a more direct way to get tiff images into iPhoto from the desktop than saving them first to the desktop as jpeg? Apologies for piling question on question.

  • Photoshop not accepting GIF image?!

I have a GIF image of 600x367 px & 56.5 KB. I created a new Photoshop project of size 450x450 px, opened my GIF image & tried to drag & drop the image to my new project using the move tool (this is the process I have done in the past with success), but the image is not going into the project?
Please anyone advice me what's wrong here & how can I edit my GIF image.
(I am using PS CS3 on Windows Vista)

Just open the GIF image in Photoshop and edit it as required.

  • Can't install 9/23/2005 updater-no firmware image? ARGH!!!!

So the story begins...we've supposedly installed the ITunes 5.whatever update. Husband tells me he can no longer put purchased music on IPod, because it's out of date. So I open the IPod Update 9-23-5005 and (I think) install it on the hard drive. Now, I am trying to open it from my utilities folder to complete the update to the Ipod, and it says, "Updater does not have firmware image."
    ARGH!!!!!!!
What am I supposed to do? Husband is irate and I want to fix this! Are there bugs in the system? Is it me? Can someone help?

    - Tried this and it does not work. Same issue - will not load new songs to my iPod, and cannot get the suggested updater to run.
    SOLUTION FOR ME:
After loading ITunes 5.0.1, and then connecting my iPod all of my purchased music was erased.
    Got the following message:
"Some of the songs in the iTunes music library were not copied to the iPod "Mcwop's iPod" because your iPod software is too old. Go to www.apple.com/ipod to get the latest software update."
Tried running the 9-23-05 update, and got this message:
"The updater does not have a firmware image."
Instead of running the 9-23-05 updater, I went to Applications>Utilities>iPod Updater, and ran the 6-26-05 update. That brought my iPod software to version 2.3, and all of my purchased AAC songs then loaded back to my iPod.

  • My MacBook pro did a firmware update now will not accept my password

My Skype account was hacked so I changed the password for my computer too I did a firmware update the computer started up and went to a black screen asking for my password it does not accept the new or old passwords. I have tried resetting the password with the snow leopard install disc but it will not recognise it and ejects. Please help

Try image capture (in your applications folder) - or the finder - if neither of these see the card uyou need to try a USB card reader - once you get yoru photos off use the camera format command to erase and reformat the card
a best practice to is to never have any computer program (including iPhoto) delete the photos from the card but to import the photos and keep them and then after at least one successful backup cycle has completed and then reformat the card --  I use three very large (32 GB) cards in rotation so I do not reformat for typically a year or more giving me one more long term backup of my photos

  • "The updater does not have a firmware image"

My initial problem was that I suddenly could not copy purchased music from iTunes to my iPod. I tried the suggestion of downloading the iPod Updater. The Updater did indicate that my iPod software, 2.2, "needs update". Upon attempting to install the Updater (by clicking 'Update'), I received the following message: "The Updater does not have a firmware image." I notice that SEVERAL people are having the same problem at this very moment on this message board. I hope someone from Apple notices this fiasco and does something to fix it. Please help. Restoring my iPod is not an option for me. Thanks.

Yes, I've had this problem too. And the iPod has not been updated with any of the tracks I bought since updating to iTunes 5, but iTunes REloaded all the older tracks onto my iPod. Why? Seeing as the upgrade to iTunes 5 was a bit traumatic in itself, I'm not altogether surprised to discover the newer tracks had not been copied: there is obviously some incompatability here somewhere - but goodness knows where.

  • HELP! Can Not Accept Images from Mac to Windows - ...

Last week I updated my Skype to Apple Mac Version 7.2 (412) (latest Version) and all of a sudden a few of my employees could not accept image files from me. Its telling them "the photo is unavailable"
Ive used Skype with them for 7 years and this is the first time we had any issues like this.
Now, I know this is usually related to the updates not being current for all users but this not the case, 2 out of 5 of my employees (Using Windows) can not reaceive any photos from me but they are running the latest version of Skype which is 6.22.59.107 (Windows) The other emplyees of mine are also running the latest version of Skype for Windows anf they are able to recieve files from me with no problems.
This problem only started when I updated last week.
Is this a Bug? Any work arounds? Anything.....

Can you please double check with your contact on Windows 8 that they are using Skype 7.0 for Windows and not Skype 3.1 for modern Windows. The latter is not supporting the new modern photo transfer method. you can share this link for the Skype for Windows desktop client: http://www.skype.com/en/download-skype/skype-for-computer/

  • Elements 9 does not accept or process RAW photo images taken with a Nikon D7000.

Adobe elements 9 does not accept or process RAW photo images taken with a Nikon D7000. I called support for a download patch and they said I had to purchase a support package or essentially purchase Elements 10. I can't believe that Adobe would not have a download patch for this problem as my elements 9 is not very old. When I try to do the updates Adobe says the serial number of the elements 9 is not accepted for download or support even though I purchased it and registered it with Adobe.
Is there any solution to this?
    Thanks.

Thank you but still having a problem. I go to the edit menu>>help>>update>>check for updates and an update to 9.03 comes up as the only update, no camera raw update. It starts to download and then stops and says to close organizer and/or editor then starts back up and stops again saying "error installing this update. Close and contact customer support". When I called customer support earlier that's when they said they don't support 9 only v. 10 and did I want to buy support or a new program v10 to get camera raw processing for the Nikon D7000 RAW. Apparently I'm doing something wrong in the update procedure but don't know what. The camera raw version is 6.5 in my elements and understand that camera raw v. 6.7 is the update to process the images. Any ideas? If I uninstall and reinstall does the serial number still work on the reinstall?
    Thanks for help.

I found this post on linux forums which say It's a HAL related problem.
"rmmod ehci_hcd" made it work for some of these guys Which one of them explains It's a data speed issue. Cables.., 2.0 1.0, that sort of things. Read it, I bet you'll get more out of it, It's old though.
Try removing the module, plugging the drive, check dmesg, and mount manually.

  • Hard Drive password not accepted in new W530

I am moving a hard drive from a W500 to a W530 laptop.  The hard drive has a password on it and it works fine on the W500. When I put the drive in the W530 laptop, it does not accept the password on boot up. If I move the drive back to the W500, it all works fine.  This is a 1TB drive, so I'm hoping I can still use it! Thanks for any help here.

Good afternoon and welcome to the community.
Since the HDD password is accepted when it's installed in the W500, why not pull off the password in BIOS there, reinstall the drive into the W530 and then set the password in the W530's BIOS?
    Regards.
