WAP551 : CISCO7921G deauthenticated every 2-3 minutes from WLAN and has to re-register on CME

Hello,
We have bought two WAP551 devices (+SG300 and a 881-Voice) to replace an old UC540 with wireless controller.
We are facing two issues (the other being discussed on a separate thread).
We have a CISCO 7921G phone connecting on VAP 1 which is SSID voice (WPA2-AES). The 7921G boots correctly, authenticate on the WLAN network, receives IP, register with CME, works for a few minutes, then I receive these errors on the WAP551 :

And each time the 7921G has to re-register on the CME (and so does not ring half the time, or communication is broken, etc...)
On the CME I receive the following errors
Oct 26 23:50:40.791: %IPPHONE-6-REG_ALARM: Name=SEPC471FED7ABA1 Load=CP7921G-1.4.5SR1.3 Last=TCP-timeout

Oct 26 23:50:41.019: %IPPHONE-6-REGISTER: ephone-2:SEPC471FED7ABA1 IP:10.1.2.15 Socket:3 DeviceType:Phone has registered.
Please note that we tried with latest WAP551 firmware (1.1.0.4) and also with latest 7921G firmware (1.4(5)SR1.3). Did not work better with WAP551 firmware 1.0.3.4 (that it was shipped with) and older 7921G 1.4(1)SR1 firmware. The two WAP551 are in a cluster, but when only one is available it is not better.
This problem render our 7921G unusable. Most of the time you cannot make or receive calls.
Any thought ?
Best Regards,
    Xavier.

Just an addition: when the connection drops out, the Windows 'error' sound occurs.

  • 5530XM disconnecting from WLAN and not showing hom...

My 5530XM is acting up again (v.11 firmware). The symtopms are random disconnects from WLAN and, after doing a soft reset, unable to put shortcuts on the home screen (using the Shortcuts theme).
I really think the problem is with the memory card because I can't turn the phone on with the card inside.
Is there a way to scan/repair problems with the memory card? I really, really want to avoid a hard reset. Last time I did that, I lost all my apps from the memory card (I have the Games Edition).
I can try using PC Suite or Ovi Suite to back up my memory card apps, but I don't trust the suites that much. What I'd like to do is drag and drop my memory card apps to another location in my PC, but I cannot see the memory card apps in Windows Explorer.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I backed up my data. Although my dialer shortcut stopped working, doing the red/green/camera trick allowed me to dial *#7370# . By the way, I had removed my memory card prior to dialing *#7370#.
Looks like things are working better (dialer works), but my new concern is that when I put the memory card back in, I get "preparing memory card." This freaks me out because last time I saw that, I lost ALL the games that came preinstalled on the 5530 (Games Edition). I understand that I backed up my files, but I have this weird feeling that the games don't get backed up. I pulled the memory card out, put it inside an SD adapter and there are readable files in there, but the preinstalled games may be hidden.
Where are the preinstalled apps on the memory card? I just want to back them up manually, to have peace of mind.
I used PC Suite, by the way.
    Thanks for all the help.

  • My husband just got home from Iraq, and has forgotten his log-on password

Is there some way to recover my husbands user name, and password? He is home from Iraq and does not remember them.

Do you both share the same Apple ID? Are you using iTunes on the PC to sync your phone?

  • If I bought an iPod and iPhone from someone and It isn't registered on my account what do I do? It won't let me register it because, the person that previously owned it has it registered. and I bought it online so I don't know the person.

I bought an iPhone and 2 iPod touch's now the 3rd from a stranger, but since it was registered on someone else's name I cannot register them, The iPhone got stolen and so did 2 of my iPod touch's I bought one from Wal-Mart and it is registered, Tried tracking it but who ever has it needs to connect to the internet on it to be able to be tracked. Now my iPhone 4 I bought off someone it was not connected or nothing but I DID purchase things on it and It wont track on iCloud, I Need to Track it It's registered but it wont show up on iCloud and My Ipod that I Have Now Can't Be Registered because its registered on someone else's account.

Registering the iPod has nothing to do with FindMyiPod/iPhone working. See the following for get the Find to work
iCloud: Troubleshooting Find My iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac
Also, restoring the iPod means that you can no longer locate/contact the iPod via FindMyiPod.
Registering is not necessary and I would not worry about it.

  • I use my Apple TV mostly to stream from Netflix, and up until recently it worked perfectly.  Now the film freezes ever minute or so and it takes another minute to start up again.  This doesn't happen when I stream directly onto my laptop.

I have had an Apple TV for over a year.  I use it mainly to stream programs from Netflix, and up until a few months ago, I had no poroblems.  Now it has become impossbile to watch a Netflix program on my TV because the film freezes every couple of minutes, or less, and seems to be downloading.  It starts again, but the same thing happens in a couple of mnutes more.  I have tried pausing the film for a few minutes to let it download, and I have even started a film, and then paused it, half an hour before starting to watch it, hoping that this would allow the entire film, or most of it, to download, but it hasn't helped.  I don't have this problem when I download directly from Netflix onto my laptop, but then I don't need Apple TV.  Of course, I'd rather watch films on my TV than on my laptop.  Any suggestions other than buying a new Apple TV after just over a year?

I also found the following post about a TV interfering with wireless networking:
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/17354146#17354146
When I was searching I also found similar problems with screen brightness affecting wireless networking in iPads and MacBooks. So it seems like screen backlighting can generate wireless interference. The joy of technology.

  • I bought an ipod touch 4 from ebay, and I tried registering it in my name but it says I cannot because its still registered under another user. My question is, what has to be done in order for my ipod to be registered in my account?

I recently bought an ipod touch 4 from ebay, and I tried to register it under my name but appearently its still registered under someone elses; probably the person I bought it from. What can be done so that I can register my ipod touch 4 to my apple id account?

If you’re trying to register an Apple product, chances are it’s already registered. Most Apple products can be registered when you turn them on for the first time and begin the setup process. Service and support for your Apple product are linked to its serial number, so it’s OK if you don’t register it. • How to let AP1262 download from WLC and been managed.

    Hi Friends,
Some days ago, I download standard IOS image for 1262 and installed, now this 1262 AP can start up without WLC. but I don't know how to recovery this AP image, and let's startup / download the image from WLC and has been managed...
Is that ONLY remove the existence image ? and it's will be auto find WLC ?
    Thanks.

    Okay... here are the steps:
    1. Install an external TFTP tool such as tftpd32 tool from http://tftpd32.jounin.net/
    2. Assign IP address in the range 10.0.0.2 - .254 ( Ex : 10.0.0.2) to the tftp server (your laptop or pc).
    3. Download the IOS to lwapp image onto the tftp's root directory. Use http://www.cisco.com
The filename that you need to rename will show up when you are consoled into the AP
    4. Rename ap3g1-rcvk9w8-tar.124-23c.JA3.tar to ap3g1-rcvk9w8-tar.default
    5. Make sure you set the IP address on the BVI interface of the AP if not set. Set it in the 10.0.0.x range. Default is 10.0.0.1.
    6. Connect the Ethernet port on AP to your TFTP Server ( Laptop ) DISABLE YOUR FIREWALL
    7. Hold the mode button and power off the AP.
    8. Power back the AP while continually holding the mode button for 20
    seconds.

It will provide a better understanding.
Look at the INTERVAL procedure. That's not really correct.
The dbms_job package is the "old" way of scheduling jobs.
Since 10g the dbms_scheduler package has superceded that and is the preferred option, as well as it offering greater flexibility. dbms_job is only kept for backwards compatibility.

  • Why does my iMac keep waking every 2 minutes from 2:00 in the morning?

    Hi,
I awoke the other night and happened to notice my iMac keeps waking from sleep every 2 minutes from 2:00 in the morning. The screen doesn't come on, I hear the harddrive power up for a little while then stop, 2 minutes later it happens again.
I don't have "Wake for Network Access" on, and have tried turning off "Allow Bluetooth devices", I have also done a Virus Scan
I have been able to link the wake attempts to RTC (Alarm) - Real Time Clock. And I have also looked in the console although I don't really understand what is being logged, please see below.
I have OSX 10.10 (Yosemite) installed on a mid 2010 iMac, although I can't say how long this has been happening.
    Any help is greatly appreciated
    Regards

  • [SOLVED] Cron Job that starts every 30 minutes from boot

I wish to have a cron job that runs a script every 30 minutes from boot, without any users logging in.
I know about crontab -e, but I think that would I only run once i'm logged in. I've also heard about @reboot, but that would only run the script once.

Cron jobs will run whenever the system is up, regardless of whether or not anyone is logged in.
I don't remember the syntax, but I know that at least some cron implementations have a way to run a job every 30 minutes, starting for the first time 30 minutes after reboot.
EDIT: I just checked the syntax for fcron, which is what I use, and it seems like doing @ 30 your/command/here will make it run every 30 minutes of uptime.

  • Query runs every minute from B1 client - read B1 log file

    Hi all,
We found this query has been run every minute from B1 client. It slows down the system, as we have over 100,000 records in table OCLG - activities. How do we stop this query to be run from B1 client. Also, anyone know what is the number for Duration in B1 log file, does the number mean CPU time? We got Duration=3581 for this query. but it takes about 10-15 seconds to run the same query from SQL 2005 management studio. Any idea?
    Thanks,
    David

    Thanks Paulo,
I found another two queries that also run every minute on each B1 workstation. What is the measurement for the duration number in the log file, like  Duration=1391?

My iMac 27" is 2 years old. The screen just start to sleep every 2-3 minutes and then one has to reboot it. I bought the unit from Incredible Connections in South Africa. They sent it to the South African distributors Core. They report LCD screen defect and charged me R7500-00 to replace the screen  and sent it back after 4 weeks.
It does not  go to sleep anymore; but when switch on; there appears a flickering band of lines on the screen which last for about 20 seconds before the machines starts to work normally.
It seems there is still a screen problem!
We had to send it back again.
The other problem is that you just get no communication out of the Core workshop and you cannot communicate with the technician.
They had still not provide a technical report in spite of repeated discussion with the manager of Incredible Connections.

Sounds like the graphics card might be the problem. Run the Hardware Test in extended mode. If you get an error it can be trusted, but getting a negative may not be all that meaningful.  Bring it back to them and let them check out the machine again.
