WAP561 - After 2-3 days the AP will not allow clients to fully authenticate (628911547)

Have a total of 5 APs and every 2-3 days these devices seem to not allow clients to connect. Clients appear to associate but never authenticate. I have opened a case with Cisco (Case number in title) but want to see if anyone else is having this issue and how you may have resolved this.
I received an email from an engineer and one of the options he asked me to change was not even an option on the screen. I have UNTAGGED VLAN selected however MANAGEMENT VLAN is not an option. Below is his email.
Making a bit of reasearch i discovered that maybe you have fallen into a firmware bug.
It should be related to VLAN.
If you go on VLAn and IPv4 setting you should see somewhere the MANAGEMENT VLAN and UNTAGGED VLAN settings.
Both of them should be ENABLED.
On the next fw release this should be fixed because it’s normal to have both disabled, but just to workaround the problem you could try with this settings enabled and see if the “freeze” is not happening again.
Please update me so i can close this case or go on with the process.

The Fix Multicast rate setting can be found on the Wireless - Radio Page. In the advanced settings section. Below the
Transmit Power settings.

    Not sure of an answer to your basic question, but it may be that you can run a repair (on Windows --> Control Panel>Programs & Features and run the repair on Acrobat). If that fixes the issue, at least temporarily, at least you will not be reinstalling everything -- a real pain.
    Next, open Acrobat and go to the Help to run the updates and be sure you are current. On some OSs, the updates are critical.

    I have an HP Officejet Pro 7580 similar to the 8600 you have and after upgrading to Mountain Lion it wouldn't work. HP support site said download updates for Mountain Lion from App Store not their site so I went to software update but there were NO UPDATES FOR 10.8.  Tried a million things and could not get printer to work.  So I restored back to Lion figuring at least printer worked then only now I can't get it to work with old settings either. I am sick to death of claims by Apple and peripheral manufacturers that everything is compatible all you have to do is get updates well in this case THERE ARE NONE TO BE GOT and I don't have time to **** about trying to find 'work arounds'.  There shouldnt be a need for work-arounds. Unless the updates are ready DONT release the new OS.  You shouldn't have to be an IT tech to make basic things like printing work.  I see also the HP 8600 is even sold by appstore so there is no reason why it shouldn't work with minimum fuss.

    I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.

  • The enter button or tapping the keypad will not allow a search to occur after I type in a keyword????

    Firefox will not allow me to use the enter button or even tapping the key pad on the go/magnifying glass button in the search window. I can type in a few keywords in the google or yahoo keyword search window in the top right tool bar but it will not let me enter. It also will not let me search or enter on any website with a search window. I can't even type in a username/password to access my banking. This just occurred several days ago.     This may or may not be the problem but clips need to be in a storyline, not just butted back to back, to apply transitions. Meaning if you lift clips form the main storyline and just have them back to back on the line above (but not in their own storyline) they will not allow effects to be applied. You need to either move them back to the main storyline, or create a new storyline containing the clips, and then apply the transition.

    The collum to the right listed similar problems.  The solution appears to be that under smtp outgoing settings the user name and password are listed as optional.  I have not plugged in the information and it seems to be working.  However from my office it always allowed the relaying.  The true test will be when I try to respond later from the road.

    I figured this out - this might be of great help to some people who have the same problem. I do not know how, but somehow my external hard drive got renamed to a different drive letter, from E to F. That's why itunes wasn't recognizing my songs, because there was a new file path name.     Seems to be caused by a corrupted Visual C++ installation (multiple versions can be installed side-by-side; SxS).
    You can try to use the sxstrace.exe tool to see if you can find which files are missing or corrupted and (re)install missing Visual C++ libraries.

  • I updated to iTunes 10.5 on Vista. As with iTunes 10.0, The DEP will not allow iTunes to open.  WHEN IS APPLE GOING TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE?  I can't update my telephone or iPod.  I can't even open the iTunes program!!!

    I am sick of dealing with this issue.  I wish not that I had never even started using any Apple products, beginning with iTunes.  WHEN IS APPLE GOING TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE AND MAKE ITUNES SOMEHOW COMPATIBLE WITH DEP IN WINDOWS VISTA?
    That being said, Is there any way to resolve this?  What I did in the past is completely wipe ALL Apple files from my computer, and install an older version of iTunes.  It was at least functional.  It seems that any version of iTunes 10.0 or more recent is not compatible with the Data Execution Prevention in Windows.  You can not remove iTunes from DEP, yet DEP prevents iTunes from running.
    The down side is that I can't get the latest updates for my iPhone or iPod.  Now, I have a new phone for my husband that needs syncing on my iTunes, and I can't do that because iTunes won't even open.
    Can somebody help me out with this, please? 

    OK, lets do a complete overhaul to make sure it's working ok.
    First to check your Windows system file for any corruption:
    Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
    type in
    sfc /scannow
    let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
    Restart the computer.
    Start iTunes and see if it is ok.
    If it doesn't, will have to go through the whole process of uninstalling and installing acccording to the following steps:
    1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

    Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
    2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
    it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
    Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
    iTunes
    QuickTime
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
    (Referenceinstructions from Apple article listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to remove all components)
    3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch

    the apple drivers will make the hardware work with windows it will not make everything work just as they do on osx in terms of geatures and the likes so likely it's as good as it gets

  • The new update for Firefox 6.0 is not allowing me to add it, without adding two toolbars specifically IMVU and Norton, that I don't want to add and the update will not allow me to remove them

    Thanks for the article. I've done some of the suggestions but it is still not the same....Does anyone else miss the status bar? Even with installing the add on for it, it did not work for me.     Try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
    Also, plug it in to mains power and let it fully charge.
