War file does not load drivers.

Hello All,
I have made a web application in jsf framework which runs fine in netbeans on 8084 port.
but when I copy the war file in my webapps of tomcat which runs on 8080 port.
The login page gets loaded but when I click login to validate user in database, it
gives error that the "cannot load jdbc driver".
Also in netbeans when I run my appplication its runs as "http://localhost:8080/"
amd my page gets loaded but from tomcat I have to run as
"http://localhost:8080/trial_web_portal"
If I just type "http://localhost:8080/" my tomcat page get displayed.
Please help.
Also let me know whether is this a jsf issue.

    I deleted the user from the userlist and reprocessed security. I added the user again in the admin group and reporcessed user security. Same error.
    When the user logs on on citrix using her profile  and starts Webexcel using my profile - no problem.
    My profile has administrator rights and she may not have them. So I really want her into the usergroup.
    We renamed the file to upload to a file with 8 characters - same problem.
    Anyone any experience with this error and how to solve it ?
    Thanks for your reply.

    Hello,
        From what I understand from your log file, this is a custom import package. It is failing into the last step, loading data into the cube and it seems there is no file to be loaded. If the same package is working well for the other users, this means that the user has not enough security rights to load data from that file (maybe the file contains data for which the user is not authorized to see).
       To understand better what is happening, just try to activate the debug using the DEBUG(ON) instruction into EvModifyPackage. This will create more information regarding the parameters passed to your tasks and you will be able to identify the file name passed to Dump&Load task.
    You can verify then into Private publication\user name\Temp files the content of file (and the content of all temporary files generated by your package) and this will help you to understand where is the problem.
    Hope this can help you,
    Mihaela

  • Ecore diagram editor does not load when I click the (aird) file

    When I click on an aird file , which I created for the first time to graphically edit an ecore diagram, the diagram editor does not load, but instead, Eclipse opens the aird file as xml in a text editor! Why this is happening? and how can I solve this? any thoughts?
    I am using Eclipse 4.4.2. in mac.
    I updated the content, with the hope to get a reply.

    Hi, sorry for the lag.
    This might happen depending on the perspective you are using, please try with the "Modeling" perspective.
    You should be able to load the .aird using right-click=>open and then see the corresponding diagrams as childs of the .aird file.

  • JDEV 10.1.3  XML Editor does not load XML file

    I am trying to edit a large (300MB+) xml file with JDEV 10.1.3 running on a Windows XP Pro workstation with a 2.8 ghz processor and 1GB of memory. The XML file has application data in it. The file loads just fine into the Oracle database using the XML Developer's toolkit so I don't thing there is anything wrong with the XML.
    I'm finding that the XML editor does not load the file. Many minutes elapse, then JDEV appears to simply give up - JDEV is no longer busy. There's no XML data to edit - that window is empty. There are no error messages displayed.
    I'm new to JDEV so I need to know if there is an error log file I should examine.
    BTW, other XML editors (XML Spy, Stylus Studio, etc) simply run out of memory and lock up the machine - it appears they are tryign to convert the XML file contents into 32-bit unicode in memory, build a list of pointers to impose a DOM-like structure, and then load their editor.

    Do you really want to manually edit the 300MB file? how much scrolling will you need to do to get to the last row?
    In any case it is likely that JDeveloper also runs out of memory - you can try running the [jdev-root]\jdev\bin\jdev.exe file and see if you get any error message in the log window.

  • JAR file does not get uploaded to client for my SERVLET generated APPLET

    Some help please...
    I have a servlet that generates the HTML code that contains an APPLET. This APPLET needs a JAR file that is listed under its ARCHIVE property. The SERVLET is in a JAR file that is in the same directory as the other needed JAR file. If I create a static HTML with the output of the SERVLET it works fine. But if go through Weblogic the needed JAR file does not get uploaded to the client so I get a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:and my APPLET does not load.
    Q1: I am not sure what to put under the CODEBASE tag. I tried "." and I also tried "http://mymachine" but both did not work. I also tried without the CODEBASE tag. No luck. The SERVLET is bound to http://mymachine/servlet.
    Q2: Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? Is there a way to force the browser to upload a certain JAR file?
    Thanks...

    It works!!
    This is what I did:
    The jar file in question was the weblogic.jar. I tried putting it under the lib directory of my war file but I had problems because the weblogic.jar contains other war files inside so when I tried to deploy my war file it also tried to deploy the inner war files which for some reason did not work. So I tried removing the war files from the weblogic.jar and this time I had no problems deploying my war file but I still could not find the classes I needed. So I tried moving the weblogic.jar to the root dir of my war file and it worked!! Now the trick here was: I did not set the CODEBASE AND I had the ARCHIVE paramenter set in TWO places like below:
    <APPLET CODE = "marketmap.client.MarketMapApplet"
    ARCHIVE = "weblogic.jar"
    WIDTH = "657"
    HEIGHT = "382"
    ALIGN = "BOTTOM"
    ALT = "APPLET tag not recognized">
    </XMP>
    <PARAM NAME = CODE VALUE = "MyApplet" >
    <PARAM NAME = "type" VALUE="application/x-java-applet;version=1.2.2">
    <PARAM NAME = "scriptable" VALUE="false">
    <PARAM NAME = ARCHIVE VALUE="weblogic.jar">
    </APPLET>
    Actually if you do not place a parameter named ARCHIVE (at the end) it wil NOT work. I tried with multiple jar files listed and it works great too.
    Anyway I figure I'd share. Thanks for the help too.
    Lastly for people who choose not to upload the jar files to clients, you should look at the bea documentation on applets. It lists a classpath servlet that allows you to provide classes to the clients without having to force them to download the jar file.

  • File does not exist: /www/public_html/null, referer:  - error in log file from IE8 and IE9

    I just updated an existing slide show that was created several months back. Since loading my new set of files to our web server, we keep getting the following error in our server log files when someone loads our page in IE8 and IE9:
    File does not exist: /www/public_html/null, referer:
    One of our programmers tracked the error to this line of code, but we're not sure what's causing it:
    Muse.Utils.addSelectorFn('#slideshowu70', function(elem) { new WebPro.Widget.ContentSlideShow(elem, {autoPlay:true,displayInterval:6000,slideLinkStopsSlideShow:false,transitionStyle:'horizo ntal',lightboxEnabled_runtime:false,shuffle:false}); });/* #slideshowu70 */
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

    The errors aren't showing up on the client side, only in the server access logs. Every time the page is loaded with IE8 or IE9 and the Muse.Utils.addSelectorFn with the #slideshowu70 line is hit, it generates four errors in the server access logs.
    Our admin guy pulled the errors from where it was clicked on from the Adobe forum. He said it also appeared that you tested it with www added to the url (if this was when you were testing it)...
    [Mon Feb 04 13:58:57 2013] [error] [client 121.242.198.2] File does not exist: /www/public_html/null, referer:http://stingrayboats.com/

    The reason we find it strange is because it did not result in errors with the previous version of the slideshow. The only thing that changed this time around is that I removed some slides and added additional ones, but I noticed that there is a lot of difference in the code and even the scripts that are used. And I did copy over all of the scripts, css files, etc., so it's using all of the new source files.
    I was hoping it was something that you guys had noticed if you review the access logs when you're testing. While it works perfectly on the client side, the IT guys do go through our access logs, so it would be nice to eliminate the errors.
    Thanks for looking at it!

  • Error: File does not exist (while trying to get Petstore and demos to run)

    Hi all,
    I have been trying in vain to get the Petstore demo and other servlet demo HelloWorld to run. It seems to install okay cause it creates the directories and extracts the .ear or .war files. My problem is connecting to the application. When I run http://my.host:7778/estore or http://my.host/7778/HelloWorld/HelloWorld I get and error in the Apache error_log that says: File does not exist: c:/oracle/components/apache/apache/htdocs/helloworld/helloworld and File does not exist: c:/oracle/components/apache/apache/htdocs/estore
    I have looked and searched everywhere for help but to no avail. Under the WebModule the URL Binding is /HelloWorld and /estore.
    Please help me!!! I am going crazy with this.
    Thanks,
    Grant
    PS. I am running 9iAS 9.0.2.0.1 and everything is on 1 Windows 2000 (sp1) machine. Infrastructure and Components in separate dirs with port 7777 and 7778 for each.

    I'm having the same problem under a solaris system did anyone ever find the solution to this problem. For some reason the server just wants to use the document root instead of the deployed application directory.

  • Error: An error occurred importing the file. Detail: File does not exist or

    Hi,
    I am getting the error the below error while importing the file in FDM. I have read and write access to the folder. I tried loading text and excel files, I am getting the same error.
    An error occurred importing the file.
    Detail: File does not exist or access denied.
    Thanks.

    Hi Tony,
    Thanks for the reply.
    I have Oracle Database and the version is 11.1.0.7; So even for this version do I need to have SQLLDR.exe on the server where FDM is installed.

  • Applet does not load on app server when Free Design Layout

    Hi,
    I have to embed a an applet in a webpage of an web application. Before I go on to anything.. let me first tell you, I am using Netbeans 6.0
    As shown in the tuorial:
    [http://www.netbeans.org/kb/articles/tutorial-applets-40.html]
    1. I first made the "Applet" source say HelloApplet. java. After compiling and running it I get the HelloApplet.jar.
    2. I created a WebApplication and then from the properties -> packaging -> I "Add Project" HelloApplet.jar.
    3. Then I a webpage I "embeded" the applet.
    4. I run the web app and the applet gets loaded and everything is just fine.
    But before I go on I must tell you that the applet was designed in Null Layout. Now I edited the applet source once again and changed the layout to Free Design Layout*. ( this is available from Netbeans..on the HelloApplet.java .. go to the design view.. right click on the form and from the context menu you can change the layout to FreeDesign or whatever you might want).
    When I expand the "Libraries" node I see the that the library Swing Layout Extensions - swing-layout-1.0.3.jar has been added.
    When I "run" the "HelloApplet.java" file, the applet is shown in the appletviewer. No problems with that.
    But!
    When I try to Clean & Build and Run the WebApplication, the applet does not get loaded. On inspecting the java console I see the following error:
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/jdesktop/layout/GroupLayout$Group
    at java.lang.Class.getDeclaredConstructors0(Native Method)
    at java.lang.Class.privateGetDeclaredConstructors(Unknown Source)

    at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(Unknown Source)
    ... 10 moreIt clearly shows that the Free Design Layout has something to do with the GroupLayout which can be found by expanding the "Swing Layout Extensions - swing-layout-1.0.3.jar". Now when the HelloApplet.jar is created only the HelloApplet.class file gets included together with some other data but NOT the swing extensions. Hence when I run the web app the class file looks for the GroupLayout.class definition but can find it in the jar as its not included when the HelloApplet.jar is created.
    But with null layout there isint a problem because null layout takes the definitions from the JRE on the machine.. and so it runs without a hitch.
    My Question is : How can I run the applet with Free Design Layout? or is it possible to package the swing layout extensions in the HelloApplet.jar?<</u>
    Thanks for all your replies.
    Cheers.

  • Lookout 6.6 - Logon Error: Security file does not exist

    I'm trying to run Lookout 6.6 evaluation. It loads fine, I get a message saying that it's running evaluation version. I press OK to clear that box and a logon window opens. It's filled in with the default settings, Administator, local doman, no password. I click Log On and it gives me the error which is in the subject line, security file does not exist.
    I've read on here that the lookout.sec file doesn't exist in the System32 folder. In this case, I've found it and it's there.
    I've trying different user names, I took the .sec file and copied it in various locations: windows folder, and the programs root folder - obviously there was no effect. I tried editing the lookout.ini file to remove the log on information to see if that clears it up (even deleted the file to see if that work), but to no avail. I also tried re-installing the program, but there is no uninstall button - windows program removal tool cannot even remove, modify, or repair the program. I ran the install a couple of times as well.
    Does anyone know what I can do?
    Here's what I'm running:
    (I bought this computer today)
    Windows 7 x64-bit Home Premium
    4gb ram
    500gb hard drive
    It's very minimal, since all the computer is meant to do is run this program and replace the computer Lookout 5.0 was running on (mobo got fried).
    - Please - let me know if you have any suggestions.

    Hi Mike! Thanks for replying!
    I've just tried it in admin mode and it hasn't worked. I've also tried using compatability mode, but to no avail.
    I downloaded the lookout 6.2 version to try and it gives me the same error as well.
    Another thing to note, I tried uninstalling it (either lookout 6.6 or 6.2 doesn't matter), but all options it gives (modify, repair, and uninstall) are all greyed out.
    Any thoughts/ideas?

  • Pattern file does not function properly in Adobe illustrator CS5

    So I learned Adobe Illustrator CS5 (Say 10%). I have these two files which I downloaded from the net. They are patterns files for animals skins.
    The first file is named "Animals_skins.ai" and is taken from htthttp://www.adobe.com/uk/web/tips/ill10qtpatt/p:// and can be downloaded from the same page ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/magic/special/illustrator/win/pattern.zip and has 10 Animal Skins patterns. When I
    Open the file directly in Adobe Illustrator CS5, I get the contents of the file as well as they are added directly to the "Swatches Panel" on the left. When I hover over the individual boxes/Thumbnails/rectangles in the Swatches Panel with the mouse, I get the titles like "Jagur" or "Tiger" telling me the name of the patterns.
    The same is the Case when I load the file using the "Open Swatch Libary" > "Other Libary" and browse to the file and open it. Works perfectly. I can apply the patterns to any shapes and it works like a charm.
    The Second file is named "skins.ai" and is taken from http://www.vectoropenstock.com/4416-Animal-Skin-Patterns-vector and can be dowloaded from the same page http://www.vectoropenstock.com/descargar.php?id_vect=4416 and has 35 Skins Patterns. When I
    Open the file directly in Adobe Illustartor CS5, I get the contents of the file showing me the patterns. However they are not added to the "Swatches Panel" directly as the first file does. Insted I get some other colors in the swacthes panel and when I hover over the individual boxes/Thumbnails/rectangles in the Swacthes Panel with the mose, I DON'T get the titles.
    The same is the case when I load the file using the "Open Swatch Libary" > "Other Libary" and brose to the file and open it. Does not work. I CAN't apply the patterns to any sahpes. Even If I select the patterns from the main windows by clicking, selecting and draging to the swatches panle and add there. When I apply the same to any shape it applies them but it's all messed up and lines appear around the single/individual pattern if the shape to which it is being applied is big enough.
    Can't figure it out that why the first file works and the second files does not. I am new to Illustartor (How many times you have heard that?) and any solution would greatly aid me in my learning process. I need the patterns for a logo design.
    I have another 3rd file which has Cow Patterns and it behaves exactly the same way as the second file. Opening it shows me the pattern in the main window but it does not get added to the swatches panle either by adding it using the mouse or opening it using the browse libary method.
    Thanks in Advance

    you have to read the tutorial in the same page you downloaded the swatches from. It tells you exactly how to make the tiles match.
