hi friends,
this is a scenario,
where a custom idoc has to be created in the warehouse,
this is an outbound idoc going out htrough EDI, the custom function module has to access data from 5 tables,
LTAK
LTAP
LIKP
LIPS
Ztable.
a) please tell me how to create a custom idoc in simle steps.
b) please tell me how do i attach this custom funtion module to this idoc.
c) After creating this idoc, what should i do so that this idoc passes throgh EDI system.
d) What to do to trigger this idoc every 4 hours.

You forgot to ask what's the meaning of life. I'd suggest to start with reading some literature on the subject (since you don't seem to have even a basic knowledge of EDI/ALE/IDocs). Here is a good starting point:

Bonded Warehouse Scenario

Hi All,
we are facing the following problem in the bonded warehouse scenario ;-
1.) We are raising the PO from the bonded warehouse plant to the foreign vendor
2.) After receiving the mateiral in the bonded warehouse, we are paying the foreign vendor , but not paying any duties to the custom offcie.
3.) Whenever the material is required , we are making the Stock transfer order and for this purpose we have created seperate pricing schema ,which includes all Import duty conditions.
4.) Then we are doing the MIRO against this Stock transfer order.
5.) Issue of the mateiral from the supplying plant by using the movement type : 351 in the transaction MB1B.
Now the issue is while issueing the material by using movement type 351, all the import conditions are going to the inventory
6.) After this capture and posting of the excise duty in the J1IEX without any reference of the Purchase order .
7.) and then doing the GRN by doing MIGO with the reference of the stock transfer order.
Please validate the above process and suggest the way out , how we can restrict the import duties(CVD,ECS on CVD and Shecess on CVD ) to get inventerise.

Hi
You can maintain Bonded W/H as an External Storage location of your company and in Customization, you can maintain diff address for this sto.location.
When you import and keep the material in Bonded W/H, you can receive the material in 103 M.Type as Non Valuated.
In this way any time you can track the material by quantity basis.
When you pay the actual duty and release the material from the Bonded W/H, you can release it by useing 105 M.type.That time only it should get valuated.

CVD Credit in Bonded Warehouse Scenario

Dear All,
I have configured a STO scenario from Bonded Warehouse to manufacturing plant. I want to avail the duty credit on CVD when I receive the goods in the manufacturing plant.
Following is the process which I am following
1. Create STO with Supplying plant as Warehouse Plant with all the duty values such as (Customs duties & CVD)
2 BOE by manufacturing plant for Customs Vendor to clear the goods
3. GI using 351 mov. against STO document.
When I do the GI using 351 mov. all the duty values are getting added up to the inventory in the receiving plant (Including the CVD amount)
Hence please advice how to restrict the CVD value from adding on to the inventory ?
Note:
I have gone through many threads in SDN where people have mentioned that the above scenario has been solved but I was not able to find a solution for the same.

Appreciate the quick response.
I have actually copied my import Schema & then created a STO schema with CVD conditions, so all the acct key & accrual key settings are the same.
Anyhow I have checked the same once again & the accruals keys assigned to the Cenvatable conditions have G/L assignment in OBYC.
Can you please send the standard Bonded Warehouse Process & how duty credit is availed in receiving plant with ref to the STO document?
Note:
I check using SD route also with delivery & 641 mov. But in that case also the CVD components are getting added to the inventory.

Material doesn't exist in warehouse

Hello All,
I am encountering the subjected error "Material doesn't exist in warehouse"
Scenario:
STO with SD module,STO creation,Delivery creation,PGI and Post GR
While receipting the stock with MVT 101 some stock posted to Loss/gain account with MVT 943,This happened in year 2003.
Subsequently this stock ended in Stock in transit(Decimals).
The material type is BULK,And No WM view at all.
2005 WM was implemented.
Problem/Issue:
Now after 8 years the Stock in transit stock needs to be reversed or physical/book stock cleared from the inventory,I tried
my own permutaions and combinations.
Irrespective of anything ,The result is error "Material doesn't exist in warehouse".
Analysis:
Is this error due to WM implemented after the stock in transit stock created.
My help requested for:If anybody has encountered a similar situation,Could u plse help me out.

ur guess might be correct, it is because of WM implimentaition.
Warehouse no. will be assigned to plant and storage location combination.
So the stock which u r reversing to the Storage location which might be assigned to a warehouse number. But the material is not warehouse managed. So it throws an error and does not allow for reversal.
One solution may be u need to mainatin the material for warehouse, first check the plant and SL wr ur reversing the stock assigned to which warehouse no. and the same warehosue no. u maintain in material master for that material and try reversing the stock in transit.

Storage location selection in RQAAAS10 QA07

hello
i want to run trx qa07 storage location wise.
is it possible to run this report for specific storage locations?
or is there any user exit to control inspection lot or material document creation for storage location?
my main purpose is
1- create inspection lot and material document only for ( storage location x)
but if if it is not possible, material creating material document in storage location wise will also solve my problem.

what you mean by one by one?
there is only material in selection screen. there is no field like storage location?
the problem is because of decentralised warehouse scenario. system do not allow to make stock movement from decentralised WM storage location and regular storage location at the same time. If same batch is in different storage location, we have problem. if there is no stock in decentralised WM managed storage location, there is no problem with material document from different storage locations.
So we have to options:
1- not to allow stock movement for decentalised WM managed storage location
2- to do another material movement for each storage location

HANDLING UNITS ERROR

Hi All
we are working in HU and SU managed warehouse scenario , where for packing artiacles we are using HU units for carton and SU for pallet , HU and SU configuration is carried out and Put away is perfect successful with out any error , but while doing outbound delivery against sales order , i am getting lot of errors with HU's , can any body tells me how to do the packing for outbounddelivery , and subsequent TO creation picking step for HU and SU managed warehouse,

we also use SAP WM with Handling Units.
The process works as follows:
With confirmation of the TO (Transport Order), the picked Handling-Units are assigned to the outbound delivery.

I am new in SAP area and have a very simple questions for experts out there. Is BI same as BW? It seems like BI covers all the BW area?
I am actually looking to take a class offered in my area. They are marketing it as BW/BI class. I want to make sure that I do learn about BI and not just BW if there is a difference. Runtime Error in PGI

Hi Experts,
This is with regarding Bonded warehouse scenario by which client get an option to keep the material at the warehouse for 90 days without paying the customs duties. After completion of 90 days, they would pay the duties & move the stock from one storage location(RM non duty paid) to another (RM duty paid).
1. PO against import vendor - Bonded warehouse plant
2. MIGO - Only Stock a/c and GR/IR accounted, no accounting of CVD & customs clearing happened. (Storage location - RM Non duty paid)
3. MIRO against Import vendor - Only vendor a/c & GR/IR accounted.
After completion of 90 days - payment of duties and moving from one storage to another.
4. STO PO from one storage location to another - CVD & Customs conditions are loaded.
5. MIRO against Commissioner of Customs - CVD & Customs clearing accounted here.
6. VL10B and VL02N (PGI from one storage location (Non duty paid) to another storage location (Duty paid).
In the PGI, all the duty values are getting added up to the inventory. All duties should be inventoried, only when the Material type is Trading goods. If the Material type is RM (or) PM (or) Semi finished, CVD values should not be added to the inventory as it is Set off u2013 Claimable.
For the above purpose, ABAPer wrote a code and executed the PGI, system throws a runtime error as below
A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLFACI" raised the exception
condition "SYSTEM_ERROR".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior
program, processing was terminated

Purchasing flow with stock - Integration to FM

Dear experts,
my customer would like to have the FM budget check only when the warehouse orders from the supplier (on the warehouse FC)
For this purpose I implemented a fix FC assignment, whenever the "Inventory Flag" is avtive. For specific movement types, I implemented an assignment of statistical commitment item.
Now I face the following problem:
When posting the Purchase Order, everything works fine (I can see in the trace of FMDERIVE, that the inventory flag is active and therefore, the FC will be filled)
When posting a goods receipt (TA MIGO) on the same Purchase Order, the Inventory flag is no more active as I see in trace. The system throws error message FC is not filled.
Do you know this issue and what to do?

Hi Thomas,
I have some information that may help you with your issue:
- Please check if you have defined in FMDERIVE a derivation rule to clear commitment item or funds center field. You should adjust FMDERIVE in order to avoid that FMDERIVE overwrites the inherited account assignment if you wish to maintain the account assignment across the whole MM document chain.
- You need to set the field status of the field FLG_INVNTRY_PSTNG in purchase order to 'Display' in order to ensure the use of the automatically derived account assignments.
- On the other hand, you are posting a Goods receipt (MIGO, probably movement type 101) where the related business transaction is RMWE. If this is your case it is correct that the Inventory posting flag is not relevant in this case as it is not an inventory posting.
If you want to get business transaction RMWA, you need to post Goods issues and use a different movement type, i.e. 201K
I believe that you are using scenario 1. Note 700485 says:
a) for scenario 1:
A statistical commitment item must be derived for all goods issue postings concerning the warehouse (process RMWA in field
TRANSAC). Since the relevant account assignments are already entered with the purchase order for the FM, SAP recommends to change these to mandatory fields by means of the field status.
Process RMWA is Goods Movement, done by transaction MB11.
Process RMWE is Goods receipt for purch. order
Please check your trace log and see which process appears there, I believe that trace shows process RMWE and flag
FLG_INVNTRY_PSTNG not marked when you are in MIGO.
May you so kind to clarify RMWE from MM point of view? Is it correct to create RMWE, movement 101 for stock?
It seems to be that the standard program is not considering your example with RMWE as a stock movement, it is expecting a RMWA process to be able to have the flag FLG_INVNTRY_PSTNG marked.
Please refer carefully to the Warehouse concepts documentation. In order to bypass this error, you should work under one of the Warehouse scenarios supported by SAP and adjust your customizing accordingly.

Dear,
The link between WM and PP leaves a lot of possibilities of configuration. In the followig link you can find the way to customizing the system based on your warehouse scenario.

I can describe a possibility: you can set the system creates the FT automatically on Orders release based on the availability of the materials. This FT are replemishment FT from the warehouse to a specifis staging area (depending the work center and the materials). After the OTs are confirmed you can post the material consuming (261), from the staging area.
But this is only a scenario, it depend on your requiremts.

On commit fire triggers

Dear Friends,
I want to update the amount of the master table with the sum of all transaction records which consists of hundreds of records per a session.
I have create a temporary table, and at the point of the commit i wants to update the master table at once..
could i write a trigger for tempory table to fire on commit.

To immediately answer your question, you should be able to use an after insert/update trigger. After reading the post again, I am not sure I really understand your structure. Does your master table hold the transactions and you also want to update the records with a the sum of all transactions or do you have a master table that only holds the summed values and another table (the temporary one you speak of) that holds the transactions.
As a general principle, it is not a good idea in a non-data warehouse scenario (my assumption that it is a transaction scenario) to store summed values in a table. It is much better to create a view that contains the summed amount along with any other master data. One reason for this is that you are performing the sum function each time a transaction happens but you really only need to summed amount when you actually need it (query, report, etc). Also, keeping a summed value requires you to write a bunch of code to handle an insert in the transaction table, a update to the transaction table, and a delete from the transaction table.
