Warehouse task automatic confirmation issue

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to implement two-step picking as follows:
Product1 should go to one interim zone - 2010 in first step picking and then it will be dispatched to external customer with second step.
Product2 should go to another interim zone - 2011 in first step and second step will be delivered to waiting customer with second step.
For product1, i defined WPT 2020 in which i have mentioned destination storage bin as 2010-ZONE (ie. for 2010 interim zone),
and maintained all the 2-step picking settings with 2020 in SPRO - Goods issue - wave management - General settings -> Set up two-step
picking
but for product2, i defined WPT 2021 and maintained destination bin as 2011-ZONE (ie. 2011 interim zone) and i can't maintain 2021 in "SPRO - Goods issue - wave management - General settings - Set up two-picking ".
So, for 2021 WPT case, when I confirm first step, second step is also getting confirmed automatically. which should be open. Working fine for WPT 2020.
Can you please suggest me in this issue? Little urgent to me. Thank you in advance.

Hi,
I would say that without implemnting a Badi (and I don't know is an extension spot is available at this point) your requirement can not be fulfilled. As you noticed already, there is only one WPT you can assign for the first step, so 2011 should never be processed at all.

We want an automatic creation and confirmation of the warehouse task in EWM 5.1 on the based of a delivery type and warehouse number.
The scenario goes in this way... As soon as the inbound delivery is created/replicated in EWM, the creation and confimartion of warehouse request, warehouse task and warehouse order (all the transactions) should be called automatically. And the goods receipt should be posted.
Can someone throw more light on the customizing/BADI/enhancements etc required??

Is that that this FM will help to create a pick task for a particular outbound delivery--Tcode:/SCWM/TODLV_TO.
how will this FM take the outbound delivery as an input?or it will be on the corresponding sales order number and item number as input?
Being new EWM i require help on this..about how to go about creating the pick task for an outbound delivery which wil be equal to the warehouse request.

Cancel a confirmed warehouse task

How do I cancel a warehouse task which is already confirmed?
(I tried to manually implement the logic of the transaction /SCWM/CANCPICK. However, the issue couldnt be solved yet).

Hi,
Only way of doing it is by reversing the Goods Issue. Yoiu can post reverse Goods Issue by Transportation Unit or on Final Outbound Delivery. This way system cancels all the WTs picked on the Delivery. But, you are talking about cancelling one WT that is confirmed for which I don't think SAP allows or has given such kind of functionality. You can cancel with WT as long as it is open . If it is confirmed, there is no way you could cancel other than reverse Post Goods Issue.

Automatic goods issue for outbound delivery, during the transfer order confirmation

Hello,
Could you please advise how to realize automatic goods issue for outbound delivery, during the transfer order confirmation in the WMS.
Now after creation of outbound delivery, i can't post the goods issue. Before i have to make the transfer order and confrim it and only after this i can post the goods issue in the VL02 t-code.
Could you please advise - what i have to customize that to make automatic GI for outb. delivery (i mean with creation material document) during the TO confrimation.

Two step confirmation for warehouse tasks in EWM

Hello everybody,
I am working on an internal prototyp to evaluate SAP EWM. Therefore it is essential that we use "two step confirmation" for warehouse tasks. Step one: confirm pick up of a pallet; Step two: confirm transportation of a pallet. Like it is used in SAP WM (Parameter I_QUKNZ in function module L_TO_CONFIRM and in standard SAP).
I haven't found anything similar to that in EWM so far. I searched in the official EWM SAP Press book and also in google. But right no I don't have any idea.
Do you guys have any hints on how to achieve two step confirmation somehow?

But it works kind of strange. Deleting source storage bin, creating another position etc.
I will have a look how to adapt this.

Automatic Warehouse task

In an Inbound delivery if we have same product and batch in multiple line items, Automatic Warehouse Tasks are getting created for rest of the HU after creating WT for one HU
Inbound Process--> Receive HU via ASN. Then Select a HU and perform Unload, GR and Create WT. After that if you see the List if HU, WH task gets created for rest of the HU automatically, This auto WH task gets created even without/before GR.
I have tested this by removing conditions of PPF ( Automatic WH task for Putaway) , No good
Any idea? Note??

WT can be created before GR is normal in EWM.
No WT creating automatically.
when you go to wt creation screen check does all HU are getting selected in HU task tab. If yes then deselect and try to create as you need ?
Also check action profile. This should not happen if you only do activity for one.

EWM : Confirmation of Warehouse task for a handling unit

Is there a function module that can update the confirmation of the Warehouse task and change the status from open to comfirmed.

Unable to create Warehouse Task from Warehouse Request in EWM

Hi All,
I have created Inbound Delivery in ERP system which created Inbound Delivery Notification in EWM and then converted to Inbound Delivery (Warehouse Request).
In Warehouse Request screen, using follow on functions --> Warehouse Task, I have been trying to create Warehouse Task but I am facing the below error.
There are no unpacked or packed warehouse request items for processing
Message no. /SCWM/UI_TODLV002
Diagnosis
For the transmitted search criteria, the system could not find any warehouse request items or handling units for which a warehouse task can be created.
The system can only find a warehouse request or handling unit if the following conditions are fulfilled:
The correct process was selected according to the document searched for:
Putaway for inbound delivery
Stock removal for outbound delivery request
Posting change for posting change
Stock transfer for internal stock transfer
The warehouse number entered matches the warehouse number in the warehouse request.
The warehouse process type is set in the warehouse request.
Movement control confirms that the delivery is relevant for picking.
No warehouse requests have yet been created for all of the requested quantity.
System Response
The system does not propose any warehouse request items or handling units for processing.
The above settings already in place for me, but still I am facing the error,

We have material number and quantity in Warehouse Request.
But Warehouse Request has 'Locked" indicator and PPF actions tab at item details has no details and "Validations" tab shows
I have created "Packaging Specification" for this material but didn't pack. Do I need to pack it?
Please suggest.

Warehouse task in status "b" (waiting) will not be activated

Dear experts,
in the following situation i want to execute a stock removal and the following problem appears:
When the warehouse task for stock removal will be created, the layout-oriented storage process control creates two warehouse tasks:
The first warehouse task is MFS relevant and will be automatically confirmed by the resource (Telegramtraffic).
The second warehouse task (not MFS relevant) stays in status "b" and can´t be activated. But it has to be confirmed manuelly by the user and because of status "b" it´s not possible for the user to confirm the warehouse task.
Why will the second warehouse task not be activated? Do someone know any hints to clear this situation?

Hi Experts,
In Extended Ware house management(EWM), how to create a Warehouse Task against inbound delivery order,
if there any standard method's is available, if not any custom methods, plz let me know.
my issue :
am retrieving a Productid, batch, location from various tables.
now along with this i have to find the inbound delivery order,

Automatic goods issue of components upon creation of Production Order

Hello gurus.
The business would like to have the components in a Production Order automatically issued (with Movement Type 261) upon the creation of a Production Order.
I was investigating this possibility under the Production Scheduling Profile option in IMG, but there is no automatic action for this.
Do you know of another way this could be achieved? I'd like to do this preferably without having to implement User Exits or Batch Jobs.

Automatic goods issue is not possible.
But you can certainly think of backflushing the components while confirming the order with CO15 or CO11N.
Make the required settings in material master, work center or routing. It will get copied to the order.
The same can be maintained in the order too.
There is one more option available in 'Define confirmation parameters' T code OPK4.
Execute the above T code.
In 'Generally valid settings', mark 'All components' under 'Goods moveemnt'.
Also in 'General individual entry' under 'Error handlings/ logs' mark ''Goods movement' & if required mark 'Termination for incorrect goods movement' so that if any problem arises with the GI/ GR, the termination would be terminated.

Automatic Confirmation of Transfer Order

I have the following Scenario.
I have 3 Warehouses defined, 1 for Reception material, 2 for finished goods. And it supoused to have the same configuration parameters.
WH number 100 (Reception material area) when I do a movement with MB1A mvt type 201 or 261, and generate the TO via LT06, the TO is not confirmed.
But with the WH numbers 200 and 300 (finished goods area) doing the same example, Txn MB1A mov types 201 or 261, and generate the TO via LT06, the TO is automatically confirmed.
I just check the Automatic COnfirmation section and for the 3 Warehouse have same parameters.
What could be affecting? Will exist a user exit to control this?

Please check SAP online help how confirmation is controlled:

Please also check help in IMG:
SPRO > LE > WM > Activities > Confirmation
You will see that confirmation is coontrolled trough:
- warehouse ID (whether 2-step confirmation is allowed)
- storage type
- movement type
If your settings at movement type are the same and you experience different behaviour in your WHs, please check your settings of storage types.
SPRO > LE > WM > Activities > Confirmation - Storage type
You have to check settings of destinaton storage types (910; 914) in WH 100, 200, 300 as well as settings of source storage types.
If there's no difference please check transacton LT06 itself - if you execute it in foreground mode it is possible to put a flag in confirmation checkbox.
Please also check user exits in SE38. Here you can find list of possible user exits:
SPRO > LE > WM > Tools > Develop User Exits for WM
...or please switch to debug mode and check from where confirmation req. comes...

Opportunistic Cross Docking Warehouse Task with status "B" - Waiting -

Hi All,
Does anyone have any experience with Opportunistic Cross Docking using SAP EWM 7.1? We have successfully executed OCD and EWM creates a warehouse task to move goods directly from GR to GI Zones but somehow the task is marked as waiting (B) and can't be confirmed through RFUI or using the GUI. Also this task is not assigned to a Warehouse order.

Check view V_T333 (Ta->sm30). and enter the warehouse no and movemnt type.
check the checkbox for TO itrm can be confirmed immediately.

Error while creating warehouse task

Hello,
While creating a Warehouse Task, i am getting following errors. Kindly suggest what settings need to be done to successfully create a warehouse Task.
First Error:
Could not determine ERP stock data for: AYYB 0000000101 F1
Message no. /SCWM/ERPINTEGRATION105
Diagnosis
The transaction you executed causes a stock posting in the ERP system. For this, the system must determine the stock data for the ERP system (such as material, plant, storage location) from the EWM data (such as material, party entitled to dispose, stock type).
For the following field, the system could not determine any ERP data: AYYB 0000000101 F1
Second Error
System could not determine source storage bin
Message no. /SCWM/L3008
Diagnosis
The system was not able to determine a source storage bin for this product.
This problem can be caused for several reasons:
1. The product no longer exists in your warehouse.
2. The product is in your warehouse, but currently cannot be reached by the system (for example, the product is just being transferred by one of the conveyor machines).
3. The product is in your warehouse, but not in the storage type and storage areas that are defined in your system for the product search.
Procedure
Check to see if the product really exists in your warehouse.
If the reason for the error is the third one mentioned above, contact your system administrator.

verify the following settings:
1. mapping of ECC plant and storage location and logical system number with the appropriate availability group code since this links the stock types in EWM to ECC org elements (SPRO -> EWM -> Interfaces -> ERP Integration -> Goods movement)
2. ensure the availability group configuration is correct (SPRO -> EWM -> GR Process -> Configure availability group for putaway) - check all applicable nodes in this configuration since the availability group code is assigned in the pertinent storage types
