Warning displayed during export backup command

hello all,
I have a Oracle database relase - 2.
While I m taking backup backup using EXP command, during that time one warning diaplayed on screen.
We don't use any statistic gathering techniques or not reading any statspack reports
EXP-00091 Exporting questionable statitics.
Can u tell me how to stop this warning from EXP command script.
Thanks

Hi Sergo,
Initially the option 'SAPINST_SKIP_ERRORSTEP=true'  failed but later it went through i dont know if i used it wrong the first time. Can i know if there will be any problems during the import? Do we need to change anything in the XML files during the import.

For the above mentioned alerts I followed the recommendations of SAP Note 491160. I dropped and recreated the mirrorlog files. But the next day again when I checked the backup it finished with warnings. At the database level there is no problem

  • Warning during Export LR 5.2 RC

I'm getting the following warning with every export from LR 5.2 RC
    Fortunately the export goes through.
Anyone have an idea why I get the warning.

    English:
    An internal error occurred:
The system cannot find the file specified.
It could be something else, but go down to Post Processing section on the Export panel and change the Post Processing Action to None instead of having it be blank.
At the end of the Export, LR will try to start up the specified program with a list of the image names it just exported and if it is blank then an error occurs because it cannot start a blank program.  I usually have mine set to Explorer so LR opens the export destination folder for me, but if you upgrade, sometimes the PPA gets set to blank.

  • Errors during LIST BACKUP after backup

Checking my backup logs for ORA- or RMAN- errors brought up this:
RMAN-06900:   WARNING: unable to generate V$RMAN_STATUS or V$RMAN_OUTPUT row
RMAN-06901:   WARNING: disabling update of the V$RMAN_STATUS and V$RMAN_OUTPUT rows
      ORACLE error from target database:
ORA-19921: maximum number of 64 rows exceededThat occurred during a "list backup" command that I run after my BACKUP DATABASE command. Files before and after that section run just fine. Is this something I need to be concerned with? Checking back, it looks like it's been happening in my level0 and level1 incrementals for about a week.
This is on Oracle EE 10gR2 (10.2.0.2) on RHEL.

    hi,
These warnings can be ignored and will not affect rman functionality.
Depending on your RDBMS version :
    - Uptill 10.2.0.4 : Ignore the message
    - 10.2.0.5 or higher :
Download Patch 8264365 to resolve this issue.
Bug 8264365 is related to the RMAN-executable only, so NOT to the TARGET or CATALOG databases itself. So you need to patch the ORACLE_HOME used by the RMAN-executable.
    Thanks

  • Essbase Version 11 Error During Export

    Hi,

  • Data Services 4.0 - Batch Job - Export Execution Command - Error

    Hi,
I'm new to Data Services and tried to get started with this "how to":
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/HowToUseBusinessObjectsDataServicesinSAPBIstagingprocess
Just that I used BW 7.0 instead of BI.
But I got stuck at the Export Execution Command. Everytime I klick "Export", I get a "java.lang.NullPointerException".
(I can execute the job manually from the Designer and it completes successfully.)
Any idea what I can do to export it successfully?
Or is there a workaround so that I'll be able to initiate the process from the BW system?
    Thanks!

  • WbAdmin Delete Backup command not supported in 8.1 Pro x64

    Hello
I've searched for how to delete specific backups that I've created using the elevated Power Shell command "wbAdmin start backup -backupTarget:E: -include:C: -allCritical -quiet" but I've run into a roadblock.
    The problem is that none
of the "wbadmin delete xxx" commands are actually supported in Win8.1 Pro 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600). If I type "wbadmin delete /?", I get:
    ---- Commands Supported ----
DELETE CATALOG                     -- Deletes the backup catalog.
DELETE SYSTEMSTATEBACKUP  -- Deletes one or more system state backups.
DELETE BACKUP                       -- Deletes one or more backups.
However, when I try to use ANY delete command (for example, to delete a specific backup version that was identified using "Wbadmin get versions"), I get this error:
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> wbadmin delete backup -version:06/26/2014-07:29
    wbadmin 1.0 - Backup command-line tool
    (C) Copyright 2013 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
Warning:  The DELETE BACKUP command is not supported in this version of Windows.
    The operation ended before completion.
The same thing happens if I use -deleteOldest, with or without the -backupTarget switch.
Does anyone know why the Delete command is not available on 8.1? Is there a patch, workaround or alternate method of deleting specific backup images?

Yolanda, thank you for confirming the issue and for pointing me to a solution. I really appreciate it!
I have looked at the cmdlet reference page tried to use the commands but it appears that they do not work on my system. For example:
    PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> remove-wbcatalog
remove-wbcatalog : The term 'remove-wbcatalog' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or
operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try
    again.
    At line:1 char:1
    + remove-wbcatalog
    + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        + CategoryInfo          : ObjectNotFound: (remove-wbcatalog:String) [], CommandNotFoundException
        + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException
Also, if I type the help command listed on the reference page, get-help -module windowsserverbackup, the only reponse is a blank command prompt. Do I need to install the windowsserverbackup functionality separately? It does not seem
    to be built-in.

  • Photos not displaying during playback

    Hi all
I added a few still photos from my iPhoto library at the beginning of a showreel I am putting together but for some reason some of the photos won't display during playback.
They appear on the timeline just fine but during playback they go black before it returns to the rest of of the video clip where normal play resumes.
I have tried to move the photos, delete then re-add the photos but still nothing.
The photos display perfectly in all other sources and devices.
    Any ideas?

I am having the same issue.
    There are several methods.
Hold option and CMD when iPhoto starts and rebuild the data base, then try grabbing them form iPhoto to iMovie.
Export them from iPhoto to the desktop and drag from desktop to iMovie.
Thats the 2 which I have limped through the last couple of issues I have had with it, but now I am having no luck at all with an of the solutions (check my recent post about this issue and Apples lack of sh*ts given about it), there are listed the solutions I have tried.
    Hope this helps...

  • IMac freezes during TC backup

Since a few days my iMac (newest version running Mountain Lion) freezes during TC backups. Since TC is set to backup every hour my computer freezes every hour - the MAC wheel pops up and keeps spinning.
Once I abort the TC backup it takes about half a minute for iMac to become responsive again.
Is there a solution for this problem - of course besides turning off TC and TM.
    Thanks

The episode below started at 06.20.32 (it began when TC started backingup). I tried closing an application and launching Console - without success.
At 06.23.11 I tried stopping the backup and shutting down TC (I think it shows first at 06.23.15).
At 06.23.41 my iMac was responsive again.
The info below only covers 06.23.04 till 06.23.45 (it seems way too much data and I don't know what's useful and what isn't).
    Thanks

  • What to do if there is abrupt termination of RMAN during a backup session

    Hi All,
I am trying to automate the Level 0 and Level 1 backups which we ought to take. Following the is the RMAN related part of it for L1 backup:
    CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP ON;"
CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO '${BKP_LOCATION}/${LType}_%F';"
    run {"
    allocate channel c1 type disk;"
    backup"
    incremental level 1 cumulative tag = $BTAG"
    format '${BKP_LOCATION}/${LType}_%d_set%s_piece%p_%T_%U.bkp'"
(database include current controlfile tag $CTAG) ;"
sql 'alter system archive log current';"
sql 'alter system archive log current';"
backup archivelog from sequence ${CSEQ} tag $ATAG"
    format '${BKP_LOCATION}/${LType}_Arch_%d_set%s_piece%p_%T_%U.bkp';"
    release channel c1;"
    exit;"
In the above snippet, the variables are substituted for within a shell script and then put into a command file for RMAN. I am a novice in the backup and recovery. I got above piece of code from someone working on RMAN and built my automation logic around it.
The script works fine and I am trying to build to script level recovery feature around it. My question is:
-- What happens if I invoke the script, the backup session starts and then there is abrupt termination of the RMAN session either because of losing the db connection or receiving an interrupt signal or a kill signal or some other weird reason.
-- What if I re-invoke my script? Will it start from the point where it was stopped earlier or would it start from the point where we had last successful Level 1 backup completed?
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi user781131,
What happens if I invoke the script, the backup session starts and then there is abrupt termination of the RMAN session either because of losing the db
connection or receiving an interrupt signal or a kill signal or some other weird reason? The backup set which rman was creating is not commited due to the abnormal termination but all succesfull backup sets can be used.
What if I re-invoke my script? Will it start from the point where it was stopped earlier or would it start from the point where we had last successful Level 1 backup
completed? In your backup script you do not use the < NOT BACKED UP SINCE TIME > clause so it will again do a level 1 backup off all datafiles.
    See:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/backup.102/b14194/rcmsynta009.htm#i1017236
This option is a convenient way to back up files that were not backed up during a previous failed backup. For example, you back up the database, but the instance fails halfway through. You can restart the backup with the NOT BACKED UP SINCE TIME clause and avoid backing up those files that you already backed up. If AS BACKUPSET is set, then this feature is only useful if RMAN generates multiple backup sets during the backup.

  • How to ZIP Oracle Datapump export backup file

    Hello All,
My customer is asking to give him the production data dump to the following path \\138.90.17.56\OMNISAFE.
I really don't understand his requirement and he also wants me to zip the export backup file. How do I do that, Do you know any unix command to zip backup files.
    thanks and regards

Well Thanks for your reply.....my oracle version is 11.2.0.3.b and if we have the compression option can you please elaborate how to do that......
It's in the documentation.  See Data Pump Export
let us say my expdp file is abc.dmp...should I give the command gzip abc.dmp or any different.
Let me google that for you
One more question what does teh customer mean by production data dump to the following path \\138.90.17.56\OMNISAFE. please explain
How do we know what the customer means?  Why don't you ask him?
That said, it looks like a url to an ip address and a defined folder at that ip address.  Again, if the customer wants you to send them a file, you need to be working with said customer on the mechanics of accessing their system.
    All that said ....
Learning how to look things up in the documentation is time well spent investing in your career.  To that end, you should drop everything else you are doing and do the following:
    Go to tahiti.oracle.com.
Locate the link for your Oracle product and version, and click on it.
You are now at the entire documentation set for your selected Oracle product and version.
    BOOKMARK THAT LOCATION
Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what is available here. Take special note of the "books" and "search" tabs. Under the "books" tab (for 10.x) or the "Master Book List" link (for 11.x) you will find the complete documentation library.
Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what kind  of documentation is available there by simply browsing the titles under the "Books" tab.
Open the Reference Manual and spend a few minutes looking through the table of contents to get familiar with what kind of information is available there.
Do the same with the SQL Reference Manual.
Do the same with the Utilities manual.
You don't have to read the above in depth.  They are reference manuals.  Just get familiar with what is there to be referenced. Ninety percent of the questions asked on this forum can be answered in less than 5 minutes by simply searching one of the above manuals.
Then set yourself a plan to dig deeper.
    - *Read a chapter a day from the Concepts Manual*.
    - Take a look in your alert log.  One of the first things listed at startup is the initialization parms with non-default values. Read up on each one of them (listed in your alert log) in the Reference Manual.
    - Take a look at your listener.ora, tnsnames.ora, and sqlnet.ora files. Go to the Network Administrators manual and read up on everything you see in those files.
    - *When you have finished reading the Concepts Manual, do it again*.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime.

  • Auto crop object that is too large during export?

Is there an option that I can choose to auto crop emitters during export? So that my export doesn't stop and wait for me to click the "ok" pop-up window before continuing?
    Thank you!

Thanks I'll try that. Also I found out the pop-up windows don’t actually stop the exporting process. They were a warning that the image was going to be cropped during export. They were, and it finished… so everyone is happy.
    Thank you for your advice.

I know this is outdated. But still we are supporting this version of database.

    Hi,
Consistent=y just mean the tables are consistent with each other. Oracle still has to guarantee that each individual table is at least consistent with itself. That's your issue.

  • Export backups failing - Need advice

    Hello All,
We have a 10.2.0.3 database for which we have to take export backups everyday in maintainence window, when only batch jobs and other non essentials SQL's are running on the database.

Hello. Thanks for the inputs on CONSISTENT option. There are pre-laid change mgmt processes in every organisation which needs to be maintained/taken in account before such changes are made, and that too, with client approvals, etc. Since it was not a feasible option to get EXPDP or RMAN implemented at this point, so was this question raised.
There is a small issue, however, if we use CONSISTENT=N. Below is an extract from asktom.oracle.com:
    >
imagine if you started an export at 9am of the EMP and DEPT tables.
EMP started exporting at 9am and DEPT at 9:15am.
Now, the EMP data would be "as of 9am", but the DEPT data would be as of 9:15am. What if
you import that data now -- will it work? maybe, maybe not -- perhaps at 9:10am, someone
fired the last employee in department 50 and deleted department 50. Your EMP export
would have them in this deptno, your DEPT export would not have this deptno. The import
    would fail.
If you use consistent=y, Oracle will export all of the data "as of 9am", so deptno=50
will be included in all tables and the import will succeed.
    >
That's one of the risks involved.
Is there any other solution we can have in place for this issue? Thanks.
