Warning for Pre-Paid users! - cannot Activate iPhone if you exchange it!!

If you signed up for iPhone using pre-paid option, please be aware that if you need to exchange iPhone you will not be able to active your replacement iPhone!
I get the message: AT&T has determined your account cannot be used with the iPhone.
I believe this was a programming error.. policy will not let you convert a pre-paid goPhone to iPhone, but my account was activated on the iPhone and it very clearly has the iPhone data plan on it!
I spent 8 hours on the phone with AT&T today.. getting passed between at least 10 reps that were more or less helpless. Finally got a supervisor and they told me to call Apple because "everything was correct on their side!" Right, that's why the message says that "AT&T determined you can't use iPhone"

But anyone running InDesign CC 64-bit is going to find that they are
unable to install many/most products on the much touted new Adobe Exchange.

    There are several possibilites:
    Your security software (antivirus and firewall) is preventing iTunes from communicating with Apple's Activation server, gs.apple.com.
    You have a redirect in your hosts file for gs.apple.com. Open the hosts file and delete any lines that contain gs.apple.com. For the location of the hosts file, on a Mac it's /etc/hosts, on Windows it's c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.
    Your phone was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it from the carrier it was locked to, and updating it the phone became locked to the original carrier. For this there is no solution that can be discussed in an Apple forum.

    Possible causes:
    1. Your antivirus is blocking access to gs.apple.com.
    2. Your phone is jailbroken.
    3. Your computer has been used at some time in the past to jaibreak some iOS device (not necessarily the phone with the problem), and its network database was corrupted by the hacking software that was used.
    4. Apple's activation servers are down (very rare, and never for more than an hour or so).
    For 1. try disabling your antivirus.
    For 2. & 3. you need to go somewhere other than an apple forum for help. Although you can try deleting lines containing gs.apple.com from your "hosts" file on your computer.

    You in fact purchased a locked iPhone. Your receipt is the key that confirms this:
    "No contract Sim". Apple Canada sells both: contact free(what you purchased) and unlocked. Your phone requires a Canadian sim to activate, and once activated will be locked to that carrier. It is merely "contract free". You have thirty days to return your phone and get your money back. I'd suggest you start figuring out how to do so.
    The price you paid has nothing to do with whether the phone is locked/unlocked. Further, there is no one from Apple here and even if there were, no one from Apple can help you. Your phone is locked, was purchased as locked and needs to be returned as it won't work where you live.

    Just a few devices that can be used on Prepay services:

    Keep in mind with the Prepay services for Smart Phones, You would have the option to choose between 2 monthly plans:
    60.00 Plan : Unlimited Talk and Text, Unlimited Text, 2GB of Data
    70.00 Plan : Unlimited Talk and Text, Unlimited Text, 4GB of Data
    The 60.00 and the 70.00 Plans have been revised to offer more data

    I was given an iphone 3GS by my father who got it as an upgrade on the orange network, he had no use for it so gave it to me. I, in my ignorance, inserted my o2 sim card, it worked for half an hour then shut down. It then sat in the box unused for a few months while I waited for my o2 contract to run out and I have now got a new orange contract. I took the phone out again, DFU restored it after it being locked, went through the settings until I got to the activate stage. It is now telling me that it cannot activate and to try through itunes. However itunes tells me there is no sim card! I have done everything it has told me to no avail. The phone has never been unlocked, officially or unofficially, so I dont see why it wouldnt work after restoring the factory settings. Its an orange phone, orange sim card. Please help!!!

    I have already contacting Apple about this problem as they said no-one else could reslove it i.e carphpne warehouse etc... Mine had been jailbroken so i thought it had effected it in someway, but ive tried everything and cant get it to work.
    Apple told me i wasnt under warranty so therefore i would either have to send it to them (as they'd not heard of this problem before) OR i go to my nearest Apple store, which is over 100 miles away for me. I asked how much it will cost to send it to Apple she said £126.56..And that was just to look at it. She did however say it would be cheaper going into an Apple store, but not much. I said forget it and bought another second hand phone as it worked out cheaper. My other iphone remains the same and keeps saying unable to activeate iphone.     Hello. Today I tried to activate iPhone celluar calls on my late 2013 macbook pro using OS X 10.10.3 yosemite public beta and I keep getting this weird error. My iPhone and mac are logged in to the same iCloud account, same FaceTime account and still this happens on my mac. On the other hand my iPhone doesn't have any problems with activating it. It is just my mac. I also did reboot / sign out -> sign in but still didn't work. If anyone knows a fix please help me. Thank you.

    It's just the servers, don't worry or go and try to get another phone There's a lot of people blaming a lot of things, trying to scare folks who jailbroke before or even used apps they don't like, that's all complete nonsense. It's just Apple did a VERY poor job, inexcusable to say the least, with preparing this. If they couldn't handle the load that they knew for certain they were going to have today, they should have staggered the release over a period of days or weeks.
    Just be patient and keep trying, it'll go through

    Please explain the sentence "The user moved from exchange 2010 to 2013 cannot access public folder on exchange 2010". Do you mean the moved user can't see the public folder or the user has no permission to see the public folder?
    If the moved user can't see the public folder, please check if the moved user can see the public folder via owa. When you use outlook to view public folder, you can following the method: Open outlook, click folder list at the bottom of left panel.
    If the user has no permission to see the public folder, please check the permission.

    2. Navigation to CN=Configuration, DC=Your domain name -> CN=Services ->CN=Microsoft Exchange ->CN=Your organization name ->CN=Administrative Groups ->CN=Exchange

    3. Right-click the PF Database, and then select Properties. Under Security, check if everyone has read permission.
    Besides, please check if public folder replication is ok. You can use Get-PublicFolderStatistics cmdlet to compare item count, size.
