It doesn't mean they are no longer compatible, just that Lightroom will have to render the file rather than Elements. Much the same with those who use older versions of PS.

Standard troubleshooting...
1. Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
2. Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
3. Remove apps from Recently Used (multi-tasking) list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Swipe up on the app preview card to remove it from the list
- Press the home button when done.
4. If still a problem restore with your backup.
5. If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue. -
I cannot play purchased songs in iTunes v11.0.1.12 or sync them to my iPhone and the songs are no longer available for downloard in iTunes store (so, I can't delete and download them again).

I updated my iPod and now, two movies, which were purchased in iTunes and have/show both HD and SD versions are no longer syncing to or playing on my iPod.

What is your iPod firmware number as shown in the iTunes summary page?

I have iphoto 6 and my pictures are no longer showing. I have tried importing them but it just give me an error msg. (file format not recognized) I have tried rebuilding the iphoto library but that doesn't work either. Any suggestions?
How did you rebuild?
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 6* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Roll Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption. -
I have bookmarks and notes that are no longer attached to the original page and I can't find a way to delete them. Could someone help me purge these things so they are not in the way?

The basic sliders disappeared. Including the Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks, Clarity and Vibrance Sliders are no longer available. I need help to get them back on the program.
I can't figure out where the sliders went and how to put them back on. Anyone have any suggestions?

10.5.8 is the highest OSX it can run.
TenFourFox is the most up to date browser for our PPCs, they even have G4 & G5 optimized versions...

AirPlay and Home Sharing are no longer working.
Recently, Airplay and Home Sharing stopped working completely from my iMac. There just seems to be a miscommunication- AirPlay is showing up, my Apple TV and Airport Extreme are selectable, but then they wont connect. I've been trying to fiddle around with netword settings to try to fix it but no luck. Still works from my iPhone just fine.
Maybe someone who's Airplay and Home Sharing are working could tell me what their Advanced Network Settings look like?
Thank you for any help!Yes I did all the easy stuff first. I even re-installed Mavericks incase a special file was missing. I've totally reset my AirPort Express several times. It's what's transmitting my WiFi and it's super close to my iMac.
It's deffinitely a problem with my iMac seeing as it's not working with both my AirPort Express and Apple TV, also can't access Shared movies on my iPad via Home Sharing so yeah... definitely my iMac. All those other things communicate to eachother just fine. -
Since about a month now my iphone 4 text/alert tones, Keypad and lock tones and also the music are no longer working. It is not onTone 'None'. When someone calls me it rings no problem but no other sunds seem to work. It only vibrates.
If I go onto itunes from my phone it also doesnt play the clips of music. Has anyone else had this? I have reset, restored, updated and nothing has worked or helped.No the mute button isnt on as it still rings for calls.
Mine is since that update aswell, I have been blaming that but just wasnt 100% sure. There was an update this week but hasnt sorted it. Im a 4hr drive from nearest apple store so really trying to avoid having to send it away/go to a store with it. -
Upgraded from Aperture 2 to 3 and now photos are no longer in photo book

I've recently upgraded my copy of Aperture from version 2 to 3 and after my library had updated everything seemed fine until I looked at a photo book I was working on. It appears that all of the photos that I had placed in the book are no longer there, and I am now left with a blank template.
The album I built up of photos to include is still there, they just aren't arranged on the pages of the book. Has anyone else experienced this, and if they have are there any suggestions for a solution?

How do I remove addons that are no longer compatible but still installed?
I have some addons dragging on with me since FF 3.6 and they're not any more compatible with 5.0 as they were with 4.0.
Is there any way to remove them? There's no option to uninstall from within the standard interface as they're simply not active.
I know re-installing FF would probably be an option, but that's my last resort.Thanks.
See, the problem is that when an addon is no longer compatible there seems to be no easy option to get rid of it, certainly not from the standard menu level.
Compatibility is one thing, but it's not that I really need them, I simply want to get rid of them.
The ones I mean (on FF5.0) are:
* DivX HiQ 2.1.1.94
* DivX Plus Web Player HTML5 2.1.1.94
* Firefox Synchronization Extension (from the Nokia Ovi Suite) 7.3.4.74
* HP Smart Web Printing 4.60
* Skype extension 5.3.0.7280
I think the problem will grow among other users with FF release schedule getting faster... not all developers will be able to keep up, I think. -
My iphone and my computer are no longer communicating
I tried to get a new application for my son on his computer and then transfer it to my iphone, but when I did, all of my applications got wiped out. Then when I went onto my computer, the iphone never came up when I connected them. All of a sudden, it was like my computer and my iphone were not recognizing each other. Does anyone have any idea what to do? Thanks.
Sounds like 2 problems. The first is because the iPhone can only sync with one computer at a time. If you sync it to a different computer it replaces everything on your phone with content on the new computer. It warns you about this, but you apparently went ahead and did it anyway.

Some of my facebook and instagram notifications are no longer audible
Basically, I am only being audibly notified on facebook when someone sends me a message. In other cases, I only get a badge icon and a banner, but no sound.
With regards to instagram, no sound whatsoever.
I checked my notification settings. Both facebook and instagram are in notification center, and sounds are enabled.
Anyone knows a fix?Ok so apparently they FIXED it!!
-Go to the facebook app on phone
-Go to Account Settings
-Go to Notifications
-Go to Mobile Push
-Look at the top of the screen and it said "Sound for push notifications"
-Edit it to ON for all notifications
They fixed it I now receive sounds for notifications!!!!!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plug ins as well as gone to the trouble shooting area for these plugins. I have tried installing firefox again. I also tried using beta 4 and I had the same issue. Also it is taking forever to load pages.
Did you make sure that your firewall or other security software isn't blocking the plugin-container process?
